I have no problem with a pin and coller system. You just need to know what youre doing and have the right tools, like everything!

They do have good oyster bracelets but this is their "fan" version of this model, and I've heard this bracelet is not good. Thanks for the review and heads up.
After much debate they’ve just agreed to let me have one of their decent canvas straps but shouldn’t have to really. Thanks for watching
On your video you say they are split pins. This is wrong the bracelet is held by pin and collar system.

Very disappointing! I'm afraid you probably got the import tax, because it came by Fedex, I've heard several people say items slip through standard post, but if you pay extra for a courier company, they always tax you ☹️. Your comments on the bracelet are important, several reviewers have had other San Martins with these new push pin bracelets, none have mentioned the lack of arrows and cheap feel, well done for telling it how it is 👍. Finally, I have a Rolex Datejust and the tips of the lugs are very sharp and the spring bars ridiculously close to the case, poor design 🙄. Happy New Year 😁

I agree, my limited experiences with San Martin haven't been that great. I know SM are seen as the best of the Chinese brands but I feel they are resting on their laurels and making the most of the youtube hype.
Interestingly enough I have the corguet Explorer and it looks very similar to this SM, with the same issues. Although the corguet only cost me around £60, so these flaws are a bit more forgivable....
