So the 2 good armies never attack each other right? Same for the red and black armies, in the 4 person game. It takes long time to set all this up with like 45 battalions and only placing 1 at a time in starting reinforce claim stage.
Yes, as with the more complex "War of the Ring" board game, good and evil factions are locked in alliance with one-another. A victory move by either of the 2 good or evil players count as a victory for both.

There was nothing in the rule book that says green and yellow should play in league with each other actually, but guess it depends on how the players make their decision to invade territories if they want to play that way. The rules itself make it like like standard Risk game actually, with 4 distinct armies fighting on their own for territories.
Your background music is so loud it’s impossible to hear the instruction from your boys. You should just take this video down because it is hard enough to find a decent video on this game without having to muddle through bad ones like this.

How would you defeat a troll or a eagle, a single die roll or 5 since they count as 5 battalions?
Good question. I forgot to explain that part. You would just trade them in for smaller units based on how many units you lost.
