I liked the KC Grand Prix if only because the duels were some of the technical best in the series. Rebecca using Fire Princess Burn, Atem using Skilled Dark Magician. Rex and Weevil getting 2 boss monsters out turn 1 then being double OTKed. etc@@tarikkash4282
@@tarikkash4282Those arcs are absolutely terrible with fanfiction level writing (Noah is just a palette swap Kaiba) and have absolutely no consequence or affect in the overall picture (they put the Virtual World arc between both Battle City arc and it's like it never happens). Not to mention making shit up as the arcs went along like the master skills in Virtual World and the Oricalcos card doing random crap to advance the plot.
Crash town is literally like my top 5 arcs ever, among the hxh chimera ant arc, soul eaters attack on the moon arc, battle city, and the dark signer arc. I feel like crash town is the only reason I tell people to watch the last half of 5ds. It's amazing, gives an amazing conclusion to one of the best character arcs with Kiryu, and in general is just interesting and fun.
I wish we had an arc similair to this with Aki temporarily taking the spotlight while she takes down the remaining part of the arcadia movement (including Divine/Sayer) and moves on from her past
Glad to see you back, Noa. Crash Town was such a treat to watch and a great close on Kalin as a character. Probably the best thing to come of the Dark Signers in the second half given how they dropped the ball on Jack and Carly.
Great to see this awesome vid back on TH-cam. Hope this is a sign of not just your old WMAD vids but also new duels to cover as well if that’s still a thing you want to do for your channel just like TGS’s ‘Was X about to beat X?’ series.
Is crash town even truly a filler arc? It adds to both Kalin and Yusei's story and is referenced later. Yes, it's self-contained, but it's definitely part of the story. Now that I'm done nitpicking, what a great arc! The music, the characters, the action...just such a fun story!
From what I've seen, KT was very much involved in S1/Dark Signers but stepped away after that. I can't remember where I saw that to provide proof, but might I point out that we already know he had a uniquely deep interest in mythology and legends (hence DM), and it doesn't seem like a coincidence that after he leaves not only does the mythology completely dries up but they retcon the secret organization (cough DOMA cough) for the sci-fi theme they suddenly decide to lean on? All the stuff you mention certainly doesn't help, but I'm taking a Latin American history course and there is a LOT of spot-on references to mythology there, down to the King of the Netherworld-Crimson Dragon dynamic actually paralleling Quetzalcoatl and his brother Tezcatlipoca in Mesoamerican mythology. I'm serious, Tezcatlipoca is associated with, among other things, "the invisible and darkness." Quetzalcoatl? "God of life, light and wisdom, lord of the day and the winds" (both sourced from Wikipedia which sourced it from a Spanish [I think] source). Find me one other show writer from any part of this franchise who has made that kind of obscure mythological connection a core dynamic of an entire season.
These videos fill me with nastolgia When did i first discover your channel ? Also, if we cant find the yuma vs nash video , it might be a good idea to remake it, the original still remains lost media tho
I have a bias towards Wild Westerns (Loved Red Dead Redemption 2) so I really enjoy it, especially when Lawton whips out the Gatling Ogre and FTK's someone before they even get a turn.
Yes, it's finally back! Are you also gonna reupload the "What's in duel" series cuz i cant find it on your discord even after i Dm'ed you to send me a link to the vids.
I really like the “Crash Town Saga”. It created a really fleshed out redemption arc for Kiryu. Though the ending was really butchered in the dub. Any great Cowboy-themed story should end with a gunshot showdown.
Crash Town Isn't Filler Cause there was no 5Ds Manga and If you think Yusei Wouldn't Stop What Ever He Was Doing To Help out his Best Friend Who Was in trouble You clearly dont know Yusei
True it could be the best fillier arc of yugioh 5ds but in the whole franchise the orichalcum arc with doma's soldiers like Raphaël Varon and Amelda the fall of atem the extension of universe some people says it's the best filler arc of all anime
Came for a review of Crash Town, left with a freaking explanation on a movie genre. XD
I would have been cool if Kalin had shown up later during the Arc Cradle or something, but Crash Down was pretty cool
In my opinion, Waking the Dragons and the Noah arc are pretty fun to watch, EXCEPT the stupid KC grand prix!

Let's go!! The puppyjenk is reuploading what was too peak for Tokyo TV & NAS to handle!

Unfortunately Sayer in the original dub gets killed by Misty's earthbound immortal
Its cool that Yusei and Kiryu settles things with punches and kicks aside from the usual duels…

Holly, i was missing these
8:52 And why is that a problem? I don't get it.
8:15 That's as ridiculous as children's gloves deciding the fate of the world (Marvel). That's what fantasy does.
Crash Town arc was so awesome in 5ds
THE KING IS BACK
glad you are back
Just discovered your channel recently, but I really enjoy your style! I hope to see more video essays like this from you in the future
I have a bias towards Wild Westerns (Loved Red Dead Redemption 2) so I really enjoy it, especially when Lawton whips out the Gatling Ogre and FTK's someone before they even get a turn.
Its nice to see this video reuploaded
WOAH ITS BACK WOOOO
Yes! More Noajenk!
HESSSSS BACK

Yeeeeee my favourite filler arc best filler arc

Hope you're having a good day
Now if only we could have gotten one of these for each of the other Signers. Even just Jack.
And no, not THAT one. Screw that scene-stealer.
Bros mad. Just hit up 34😂
LETS GO CHASER NATION
JENKSWEEP
That don’t sound like filler, cowpoke. That sounds bit more like character development.
Have you redone your Yuma vs nasch duel ?
Digimon reboot is a big sign of trouble
Crash Town Isn't Filler Cause there was no 5Ds Manga and If you think Yusei Wouldn't Stop What Ever He Was Doing To Help out his Best Friend Who Was in trouble You clearly dont know Yusei
well there was but the manga was it's own separate thing
reuploaddddddd
Ooooo we doin this again? This is gonna be very fun
Also here before anyone says first
Is it possible for you to upload the "what makes a duel" videos?
Can we call it a filler arc?
The 5Ds anime wasn't following a spesific manga canon.
No
🥚
Was Crash town actually filler ? I thought it was just part of kiryu's storyline tbh
Tbh there's not really "fillers" in the Yu Gi Oh anime (except DM) because the animes and the mangas are different continuities
So you're one of those guys that think skypiea is filler, huh?
Gotta disagree with you. The best filler arc in all Yu-Gi-Oh series was Awaken the Dragons. This is a close second, though.
