As a chem eng student do you recommend a MacBook or an iPad Pro?

Definitely a MacBook (with bootcamp) for software and creating various documents (engineering drawings, project work etc). An iPad pro isn’t essential but it definitely helps SO much. I did my whole undergrad degree without one (3 years) and got one during my masters and I experienced a massive difference in productivity and organisation

@@TEMSInfluence thank you for the reply 🙏 I’ve never heard of bootcamp. Is it an application that you can install or something? I was about to go with a hp because I thought MacBooks weren’t suitable for engineering students because of the limited software they can have. Although I would prefer a macbook if it could have the required softwares needed.

@@jahid_1 no worries. Bootcamp is basically something you can do with macs when you first set them up. It apportions a certain percentage of your SSD (laptop memory) for the windows operating software and anything else you’d like to store in the ‘windows’ section of the laptop. You essentially have Mac and windows in one machine and you can run windows software on Mac using that facility

Hey! I use it every single day and I honestly wish I bought an iPad with Apple Pencil support years ago as it’s helped me so much productivity wise
