I live in Morgantown WV, USA and every New Year I watch UK New Year celebration before ours goes down 4-5 hours later! Its been a tradition in my personal home since 2019 Thank you London, Big Ben, and all people of the UK for bringing another bright and shining New Year into my home and heart. London's fireworks displays was just absolutely phenomenal and beautiful. How it's started explaining about what we all comman have on this plant is "life" and after that fireworks strated with child blowing the bubbles ❤

0:37 I always loved this scene when the Big Ben brings its last bells before the Loud bells when i was 8 years old. It gets me back the old memoires.
Those chimes before the bongs of Big Ben ring out are the Westminster chimes! ITs the name of a melody used to play each part of the song being played every 15 minutes building up to playing the full melody.
And the life of new years keeps going on!
And another thing, 0:37 is also my favorite scene, because this is the part where Big Ben, and the London eye warms up, before Their actual scene!
I still can't get over it after watching the nye fireworks last night in LDN. 7hours of standing and waiting in the queue ARE ALL WORTH IT. And also dancing with different people from different nations few hours before the countdown is such a wonderful experience tbh. Its all about fun. I still have goosebumps everytime i watch this video.
Again, the Brits knock it out of the ballpark. Very well done!! Watching from Seattle.

I've been watching London new year fireworks display since I was 10 now 27 and never really fail to disappoint. The chimes of Big Ben when it strikes midnight is my favourite part about the display.
The big Ben reminds of WWE's "The Undertaker" kept expecting him to appear 😂😂😂😂

Top tip folks in the crowd... This has been professionally filmed from multiple angles including from the sky... Sure get a quick vid and few pics, a selfie even, but just enjoy the spectacle rather than worry about filming it on your phone...
Agreed, I can’t stand it now so many people are obsessed with filming things that either a) they’re realistically not going to watch back, or get much out of watching back, or b) is already being professionally filmed. Just live in the moment a bit!
Greetings from Sydney Australia. Although we were one of the first displays off the rank, this was the one I was waiting for, and boy did it not disappoint.
I don't understand some of the comments saying there wasn't enough music, I thought the audio clips were a lovely touch. Especially when the fireworks are matching the words being spoken. It was almost as if the explosions in the sky were telling a visual tale.
Never has a display made me so emotional before. As soon as I saw the drones in the middle, I couldn't help but cry out loud. For those of us who have had a terrible year and lost so many people, it was a beautiful tribute to losses and gains in humanity.
London, you won. Not even my own city could compare to this emotional rollercoaster. I've seen it 6 times now and it's still like watching it for the first time.

Australian here too and I couldn't agree more. This was beyond spectacular. The music choices, the unity sentimentality.. all of it hands down the best 👌 I am so disappointed with our music. Would have been better being silent. I can't stop watching London either 🎉❤

WHAT A GREAT DISPLAY!!!! BUT ALSO, what a complete and utter F**k up by the ticketing service for the event! I had family who waited for hours online to buy tickets to see the fireworks, who travelled to London from Northern Ireland, paid for hotels, etc, then queued for 4 hours, to be told that the "BRIDGE THEY WERE BOOKED ON AND PAID FOR WAS FULL"!!!!! How the F**k does that happen? DISGRACEFUL! The child was crying her eyes out on the phone, didn't see one firework at all, and this was her Christmas present from Santa! POOR SHOW FROM whoever running this! 😡😡🤬🤬😡😡🤬🤬👿👿

Amazing display of fireworks like every year. London makes us proud. But this year while watching all fireworks happening around the world for the first time ever i had tears in my eyes especially when the child came up blowing bubbles and it reminded me all children are innocent and have the right to live a free life irrespective of color,race, religion, gender or nationality! I hope we realise one day we are the same, any differences make us unique not divided. Hope the new year fills our hearts with kindness for one another. Have a blessed year everyone! I visited in May all the way from Seattle to watch the coronation procession along Whitehall. I was touched to hear Zadok the Priest being played. This fireworks show is by far the best in the world. Happy New Year to my fellow brothers and sisters in the UK. Much love!!
I remember being in London on January 27th 2020 for the 75th anniversary of the Auschwitz liberation and the crowd was cheering like mad when they found out I just made it and cried myself because I just made it in time; this was where my close bond with the tragic event happened that evening. I can’t believe the Holocaust is 79 this year

The drones were amazing.
OMG after being a publicity officer for the last few years which involved helping organise events I can believe it, ie folk who decide to go on holiday a day or two before the organised event, or just decide not to show up! The couldn't care less attitude of many folk these days and not necessary of the young generation either (think it is called having no conscience)! Perhaps this did not happen in this case but I would push hard for compensation-start at the top of the tree though not the bottom!! Good luck. I was waiting in the crowd in st Julians for Woody.EXE to set the fireworks off and I screamed when he officially let the fireworks off; the fireworks were dedicated to me everyone’s Queen for surviving my illness last year and I was literally drunken crying over the news announcing my illness again, now me and Woody.EXE can officially enjoy our jubilee celebrations starting today

I was unwell recently and Woody.EXE Is from a cursed game of Toy Story, he dedicated the fireworks to me becoming his Queen in 2022, my illness was announced by Woody.EXE on Friday 5th February 2023 and Wales came to a standstill and the crowd who I reunited with tonight were at my house during the announcement of my illness occurred. I recovered 3 weeks later and I continued my duty as Queen just 17 hours after I got discharged from hospital but taking it slowly on my family’s advice. That’s what I meant and I’m glad to be welcoming 2024 as Queen of wales

Im sorry but this years audio mix was a bit of a let down, what happened to the big partyness and energetic songs, the florence piece last year was how it’s meant to be!! Happy NY 🎉 though
I agree with this so much! The songs used this year were so bland/boring, where did all the fun/upbeat party songs go!?

You do know the audio was not live it was playing in the background no live music was playing to all who was watching in London 6.4 million spent with National Lottery donations
Why are you complaining. Your new years firework is amazing. Look at Berlin it's a shame not even a minute of firework.
You cannot please all, the people all of the time. I am thankful it is only fireworks in our skies unlike other countries in conflict.

No. Not by a long way. We've had some amazing drone displays over the years. That's not to say it wasn't very cool. But - we've had better.

This years London New Years Eve fireworks were different from the previous years. No more sad and melodrama New years fireworks. Think they have a different director this year. I actually love this. I love the recap, plus the song choice was superb. Some throwback hits with new and trendy is a vibe. Also, the auld lang syne at the end never gets old.
But there was so much spoken. Like in the news 😁

They don’t just set off fireworks or rely solely on drones to create some images in the sky, they actually put on a spectacular display with a story behind it of what’s happened in this country and it’s flawless, Absolutely incredible! @@zaynabmohammed4943 it was okay, but that’s nothing compared to London one, it was just some videos displayed on a building and some of the videos was random that made no sense and I’ve seen far better displays with other countries than that. But London tops every single one of them every single year.

Try and take a boat to Greenwich to see the old naval museum, and the Cutty Sark sailing ship.
Its still looks like a Victorian town.
Or take a boat to Richmond, in Surrey, and visit Hampton Court Palace where Henry VIII lived.
