Night at Treblinka. Touring Poland by motorhome.

Treblinka is best known for being the location of a National Socialist death camp. The camp is actually closer to Wólka Okrąglik, the village of Treblinka is located some 4.5km from the camp. I am staying at the location of the former railway station at Treblinka where a fitting memorial has been created for the horrendous suffering that took place at this location in 1942-43.

Thanks for the video. It seems to me I saw a photograph, (or maybe a drawing) of Treblinka not long after the nazi's evacuated. The locals had went around digging holes looking for "Jew gold" the inmates had buried in or near the camp. It looked like a "moonscape" with maybe hundreds of holes.
