The music these guys play is from a time when Country Music had depth. I'm black and from a small town in the south and when I was a kid every morning, except for Sunday, this is the music that was on the radio. There were two radio stations that played classic country. They are not around anymore.
That footage in the office gave me an eyetwitch and reminded me exactly why I left the corporate world to run my own show. Well shot, and great storytelling!!
Need to see/hear more of these guys here on the ewe toobz. Maybe send your Tuesday Honky Tonk live stream from FB here too? Thank you for keeping the music alive.
Great job! The mainstream of country music has been going through an identity crisis for at least ten years now. When Bebe Rexha is breaking Billboard country chart records, then you know that this is an existential threat to the very substance of country music. We went from bro-country, which was bad enough, to just straight-up pop and r&b on so-called "country" radio and CMT.
When I saw the title, I instantly went back to 'Hank Williams' and then my memory flashed back to the movie 'I Saw The Light' and heard Tom Hiddleston singing...THANK YOU.
Great video. But I don't think we see a single shot of a steel player in action. Toward the end, the steel kicks off Panhandle Rag, and the camera lingers on the bass. Huh? I see my friend Miss Tess at 40:52.
Not all of us are from or live in Nashville, Tn. I'm watching this on TH-cam in Caldwell, Idaho, and I to was disappointed in the fact I was brought to this video from"Great Big Story" to see what I thought would be a lot of Pedal steel guitar and Fiddle playing of the era of Country Music you are representing, My Favorite time of Country Music is from about 1958 to 1978, I feel ( IMO ) this is the "Golden era" of Country music. Not to be long winded, but I have ask my co-workers if they know what there hearing on the Radio( Pedal Steel Guitar ), not one out of 5 or 7 persons knew what it looked like, and there lies the problem, no exposure to the instrument. Today's Country Music , they don't even(for the most part) carry a Steel in there band, why?, cuss it to expensive to pay a player to be with them, there heavy(time consuming to set up), and the list go's on. Sorry for the long comment, but I love our Music as(by what I'v seen in this video) much as you do, long live Real Country Music, BTW, you have a great voice.
keep it going!! love the positive vibes. I survived cancer twice while having half of my face amputated in the process.. a tumor destroyed my jaw and changed everything I once knew.. I decided to start my own channel to inspire others who feel ugly and not good enough for this world..I moved to Barcelona to build a new life. I want to show others that it's all about positivity and energy.. and that with the right mindset, you can overcome any mental or physical hurdle if u just learn to love yourself! positive energy trumps any physical shell! go check me out and subscribe if u want to help me reach my goal of helping others who lack self-love.. it would mean the world to me!!

I don't enjoy modern country, but old country I can chill too. I'm glad country music is still being kept true country.
Old country music is so relaxing
Alan Jackson and Justin Moore do make good country these days
I am only 1/2 way through this and completely enthralled w/ these guys. Sad I found it so late. This is what the world needs more of right now.
It's cool to see how people keep old traditions alive.
I see you everywhere
Matej I'm planning to watch it later.

At least somebody is singing real country music. Not just dishing out more of that douche bag pop they’re making now.
Hey, keep continuing the good job. Love this channel 👍👍👍👍
I’m glad county music is being kept alive thanks to legends like Mason Ramsay 😌😌
This video to me is like showing a compilation of nfls greatest moments to sheldon cooper from the big bang theory
