I'll keep showing up to his shows 4 times a year and paying for everything I can to support this guy. I want him to break the machine. This is the music my dad and granny played for me.
you got it dude!, this is my man too .. want to be a part of his success cause he deserve it so much ! A real good human making full souled music at least nowadays
Why would the Lord watch over him?? He always wears that Egyptian pagen sun worship necklace everywhere he goes. 😂 He clearly doesn't worship Jesus or the Almighty
It's about damn time...real country music again! Sharp-dressing quirkiness and talent, plus you can't deny how adorable he is. This blues-loving grandma has discovered Charley Crockett!😍
I have never met such a humble soul ! And I have met lots of musicians thru out my 65 years. He truly loves his fans and every member of his band is so damn talented!!!
I met him. He's so lovely. He got a little emotional because I had to give him the love. I had to tell him that we're feeling him out here. His mission is saving lives. It's working. I didn't get a chance to say everything I wanted because his energy is intense. That comes from travelling and hard living. His blues is real. He didn't ask for it but he flipped it into gold. I'm his #1 fan❤
Mr. Crockett, thank you for staying true to your roots. I view you as one of the most talented and unique artists of my lifetime. Had the pleasure of seeing you guys at The Fox in Spokane, WA this July and y'all tore the roof down. Keep up the great work.
By far one of the best C & W artist of all times, and his band is right there too. I'm 67 years young, and I've been a C & W fan from grade school... Charley ❤🎉
I'm an old rocker. I'm the quintessential metal head. I first heard Charley earlier this year and fell in love with his music. My wife and I saw Charley in July and then we saw Megadeth and Lamb of God last week. I can't decide who I enjoyed more.
Dude, you have to check out Billy Strings! Old school bluegrass turned metal head and now plays shredding bluegrass. Also, Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers are great contemporary alt country artists.
Got to see him open for Chris Stapleton, another great country artist who has stayed true to himself, last year and was amazed! Gonna see him again in a couple weeks!
I just finally saw Charley live in Toronto a couple days ago and wow! What a show. Ive been to hundreds of shows and for the first time ever i was totally starstruck. I listen to him music daily and to see him live was overwhelming. Ill go to his shows whenever he comes to Canada and continue to support him any way i can. Thank god for Charley Crockett. Gives me hope for the future of good real country music.
@@Rawdiswarsaw him at Danforth Music Hall last july. Just saw him again at Massey Hall a few days ago. Such a great show. He’s a total legend in my books.
I heard Lesson in Depression earlier this year... Hooked from that moment on! My co-workers have been telling me repeatedly that I'm a hypocrite because I can't stand modern "stadium" country music... But I've listened to each of his albums (and so have they!!) and I can't stop! Keep it up Charley!!
People can't taste the watered down "country" blandness of songs that are full of consumerism making people drink bush light take out a second mortgage loan to buy a jacked up truck and camo up their dog. "Rough country" dude you live in Central Illinois Your $70,000 truck has never seen a Boulder.
Charley is one of the very few performers in my lifetime who immediately struck a chord in my soul. Coincidental pun aside; The fact that this man's music is something that I listen to often says a lot. I'm a music-junkie. I listen to radio like you watch TV. I have alarms set on my phone to remind me when broadcasts begin; switching channels on the radio from one genre to another like you do with a television. I have over a thousand records. I have over a thousand CDs, subscription streaming services, and I have consistently, nearly daily, come back to Charley.
I’ve always enjoyed old school country/western music from the 50s-70s mostly and never gave any modern artists much play but man, Charley is legit! The only contemporary country artist I am genuinely a fan of
My kids are millenials. They really appreciate all music from all eras, especially American. Charley seems to bring that millennial spirit to his music with a deep south flavor. A singer songwriter and a real showman. A real true honest American original. 🇺🇸🤠
Someone shared Charley's Trinity River video with me Friday afternoon. It's Saturday night and I've watched everything I can find on him and streamed at least 4 of his albums. Look up the term "Real Deal" and I'm sure you'll find Charley's smiling mug right there! What a great talent!
I caught Charlie Crockett's set at Merlefest over the weekend. He's the real deal. An extraordinary blend of Country/Blues/Cajun/Texas Swing. The man knows how to work a stage. Great band. I'd love to see them again.
My son turned me on to Charley So I ordered some of his music from his place of business. Absolutely enjoy what this young man is doing. I have just been listening to the new release “Music city USA” and man this guy sure understands vibe! This album should be a CMA album of the year contender, yes folks it’s that solid. Keep the pedal all the way down Charley, damn fine job again!
Saw Charley for the first time last week in Bristol. It will most definitely not be my last. There is no way you can stand through his set WITHOUT tapping your toes and smiling from ear to ear. He absolutely has it!
The last 5 minutes of this video are really reassuring as a die hard CC fan. I’m so glad he’s sticking to doing it all his own. I’ve really enjoyed watching the quality of his videos progress over the past 2-3 years, and just how there’s way more ways to enjoy his music outside of just listening alone. Keep doing it your own way Charley that’s what makes it what it is.
The one good thing in 2021 for me was finding Charley Crockett. Better late than never. Just saw my first show and hope for many more to come. Long live Charley. God speed and thank you for bringing truth and realism back to music.

@@RISKStudioProduction Yeah, I just read that. Unfortunate to hear, but I have faith he'll stay true to his sound/way. Wish he'd signed with Thirty Tigers like Charley did.

That was the fastest 45.08 mins now I am curious to where he was raised and his early life growing up definitely not like most new country music artists this is real music you can tell he is a legit guy glad I found him so I can enjoy his masterpieces keep up the good work brother
San Bernito.... Can't tell if this is sarcastic but a big section of this doc was about where he grew up and how it was in the same city as Freddy Fender.
He spent a lot of time in both NYC and New Orleans. He's true to his Texas roots, but his music is flavored with the music he learned in those places as well as deep roots music. It's something that can't be taught. So, instead of just being influenced by Texas artists and music, he lets the music from the places he's lived mix with his soul. The end result is a one of a kind artist that Nashville needs to keep their grubby claws off of. He's special in ways that pop country artists and record companies can't begin to understand. He deserves to be on mainstream radio, but not today's radio.
Never sell out to a big record company! Like you said you made it this far without em! Next time your in Brownwood Tx playing we will make sure you and the boys are taken care of! Keep on keeping on!🎶🌎
