Lord Jesus you died and poured out your life on that cross so that we might liver forever, with no fear of death, only the promise of eternal life for all who believe. There is no greater promise than this. 🙏
I thank God everyday for John MacArthur and men like him (Pastors R.C and Piper among the few) who so love God that their purpose in life is to show us how to do so. Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
The same thing is happening today. People are saying that if one does not follow every Code, Statue, regulation then one is not obeying the authority and therefore can not be righteous. If not righteous then not of God. THEY make up new standards and deceive people into a works salvation. One must know that they are given salvation and given every good gift in the process of sanctification. For out of the love for Christ we obey.
