Seems like 0702 motors are very popular now. Gotta wonder if all the upcoming 65mm whoops from all FPV vendors will come with 0702 motors as standard. Thanks again for this great video!
Getting lighter and smaller another great whoop upgrade tutorial 👌 👍 thanks for taking the time to weigh all the frames, canopy. Can't wait for the whoop round up video!!!
I've always wanted to build a tinywhoop but this approach looks really straightforward and cost effective! Looks super nimble in the air! Great review, might just go with this option but I'll wait for your other conversions 😊
Respectable weight loss that is easy to accomplish by watching your video. No snipping, soldering, de-pinning like some whoop diets. The Newbeedrone whoop is an very good flyer to start with at a very reasonable price. For those looking for durability, the Goober canopy is hard to beat. I still have a brushed Newbeedrone whoop. Happy flying everyone. 😎
Looks good and definetely a great indoor ripper. I wonder how this one compares in terms of flight characterostics such as the meteor 75 pro as is has bigger motors but a heavier weight. Great video as always
@@xavierprimeto1752 Iflight alpha a85 is an 85 mm whoop that carries a vista unit. It is a good slow cruiser but DJI gives me vertigo if I fly too many packs in a row.
Actually have all the parts to make this happen except the camera mounts. It looks really similar to the mcstinky mount so i think im going to print that and use that instead plus an a30 pigtail. Really surprised at how big the difference is between all the frames. Looks like i know what im building this weekend! I wonder if biblades might be better for the smaller motors?
Nice to see some options for tweaking a whoop. Do you think it would be worth removing the motor connectors and direct soldering the motor wires to the FC?
Very nice buid Albert. I have also been following the whole higher kv thing thats going on and it really seems to be a big deal. I remember when the mob 6 came out alot of people were making a big deal over the 25000kv motors and short flight times over the 19000kv i have the 19000 version and really been thinging about going upto a 30000kv to try it out. Thanks for sharing Albert
actually it is a bit more rigid but the black pc are also stronger than the coloured ones I think the dying process weakens them. with hm the clear frames are lighter than the same dark ones too!
Yep clear props are always stronger than black or white ones but its a little different cause the black and white props are made with pure plastic that crack and the clear or coloured are more of a gel material but frames are not made out of that gel material they are dyed and in that process become weaker. props are actually made in the coloured gel maintaining their strength ;) @@nightowl_fpv
Awesome mods, Albert! Really nice little quad! 😃 Those little guys fly much better this way and they hardly have any mass to break in a crash... So it's really the way to go! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
@@xavierprimeto1752 thank you! Ill probably just buy the elrs module from betafpv. At the min time I have the xjt lite with the adapter for my qx7 that I wish it would bind to my cetus pro with no problem.
@AlbertKimTV for the vtx antenna, if it is not for long range flying, I would prioritize durability and get the antennas somewhere "inside" the frame. The vtx antenna tucked behind the camera and the rx antenna below the board. The range should be plenty enough and it will be far more durable.
depends on the whoop. A bt2.0 should have about 10% less resistance. if you have a power hungry quad that uses everything it can get it will end up being faster. If you have a lower power quad and cruise it more, then you will get better flight times.
@@925fpv The frame is indestructible . The canopy broke and the cam was free to move inside, I had to change it. The one in this video looks much better
0702 motors are much better than the 0802s because they are far powerful enough for any 20-25g whoop. So since we are targeting lighter and lighter whoops 0702s are the way to go.

You should be a drone designer. All your ideas are so much better than what the current BNF market offers.

Newbeedrone should make this version of the Hummingbird based on your mods. Seems to fly way faster than before!

Yeah, I wanted to build a tinywhoop too just to realize the price for buying one is literally the same or cheaper.
Wow, this looks a lot better!
Can't wait to see your future conversations!
These look great. Really interesting to see how much difference there is between all the frames, thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I wrapped the co-ax antenna around the exterior of the prop guard and secured it with a few drops of hot glue on my Mobeetle6.
This might be my first whoop! 😊
Great choice 👌
nice built. i love making light whoops like this as well. their also a lot of fun to fly=

Yeah, sometimes things get a bit too complicated for me as well. 😬
This one seems much easier to mod!
I have seen some video of this tiny beast..small and very wild..lucky for US..they can exchange frame for free if its broken..
Leave it to Albert to get me to consider smaller motors. Looking forward to the round up.
Nice! i want to try this now!
Go for it!

Loving your tiny quad reviews/builds. Always informative, interesting and educational. Thanks.

Massive fan of the Cockroach V3 frame with Mob6 canopy, bi-blades and good old Happymodel ELRS board.

The difference is difficult to describe. More weight, but also more power... one is a light agile machine, the other one tons of raw power.
@@AlbertKimTV For the sake of curiosity, which one do you prefer to fly on?

At this weight, it makes a big difference.

I need to build one with a pp frame for all the crashing ive been doing. need something more durable/flexible than what I currently have.
I built a 100% Betafpv Air65 and got her down to 16.97 grams. No leaving parts out to cheat but a full build done correctly 😉
Nice
What scale is that?
