People have their preferences in voices, and that's fine. But as far as I'm concerned, Whitney wasn't one of the best, she was THE BEST to ever do it. I've never heard ANYBODY sing like THIS in my life. 🐐

Her 1986 performances of I am changing in San Francisco, NY and London are scary. The greatest live vocals I've ever heard.

@@andrec7440 I have to agree, but her version of that song brings me to tears. No one will ever top Whittney Houston. I love her so much that I named my daughter after her in 1985! That was even before she exploded on the music scene.
@@NonaTut Whitney gives me goosebumps with the feelings, memories and vocal performance. They way she moves and connects to the audience is second to none. I love Mariah, and I like some of Celine. The only others singers that emote like her for me are Gladys night, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin, and a few others.

When I worked at my last job, I had a coworker who wasn't familiar with Whitney Houston. Her sister, who also worked there, said I know who she was but she wasn't very good. I told her to take out her phone and google Whitney Houston Star Spangled Banner, Superbowl. She did and played it. Their eyes literally bulged out of their heads. I think I heard an Oh My God a few times. Showed them.
