This is genius I knew you could take the bulk out but re-applying to create the hair line is simply (inserts chefs kiss) I have some wigs that I’m desperate to turn into a pony tail and I shall for sure be trying this one 😊😊
Epic! You all who are really great at styling wigs for cosplay (by that I mean YOU) could seriously have a career in cutting and styling hair. The other option which you're maybe already doing is making and selling cosplay wigs because you're really, really good at it based on your videos. I've seen several videos and tutorials but your work is beautifully precise! 💖
I’m fairly convinced you are a wizard! do you do anything to prepare the weft that you glue onto the hairline? (Like hairspray, razor, glue...) Thanks for your videos!!
Well done I am new into trying cosplay wigs you did a good job I learnt something new please can you post a video on how to add baby hairs at the nape (behind the neck) God bless you
Great video and amazing result! But there are some things that make me wonder how it's possible. XD Firstly I'm impressed that this is supposed to work with UHU! It looks so easy how you do it. I used hot glue for this purpose but as soon as you comb through the strands, half of it falls out because the glue doesn't reach every single hair. And also: Does the newly added hairline not feel super itchy on the skin? Second question is what kind of steamer you use. I thought the wig hair which you cut short must be extremely tricky to blow it upwards. I could imagine that it would fall down (especially without tons of hairspray) and stand out visibly, especially at the back. Because you're basically making it stand up in the opposite direction of the wig net. I hope I'm phrasing this question in an understandable way. >< And last but not least: you're glueing on the elastic part of the wig. How does it stay elastic? Would be great if you could share some details on that! :3
Thank you for asking 1. Yes it feel a little uncomfortable compared the regular wig but you will get used to it, it's not that itchy. 2. I'm using portable fabric steamer 3. It will not stay elastic, it will hardened so you need to measure your head and mannequin or the wig won't fit nicely (I have the tutorial on how to measure)
Even if we had extra wefts to work with, do you think some of the back should be thinned so there’s isn’t a bulging back or would the steamer take care of that? Thank you for sharing your work
how do you make the wig sit properly and look natural on the back of the neck when wearing? for me on tied up wigs there’s always a very obvious gap behind the ears and back of the head/neck?
How can I do two buns on a wig? I search on the internet everywhere but I can't find anything, I want to buy two bun wig but it seems it doesn't exist...
Can i order from you one black ponytail styled wig that looks very natual not for cosplaying, coz my job dont allow me to grow long hair so my only options is to play around with wigs, female have so many kind of hairstyle I wish to try but never had chance. I really like this ponytail u made but the front is more toward cosplay, if the front looks normal it be perfect for me.
It happens a lot, especially on big ponytail. Good measurement can help, my previous video is about how to measure your head so the wig would fit. Second, I sometimes sew a small comb/clip inside the base. 2 clip at both side near forehead and 1 clip at nape area
@@soybin2822 really? This wig have SO MUCH HAIR! All random wigs from aliexpress for example don't have much hair! They have just 6 or 7 lines of hair weft and no one is heat resistance!
You can use the "straps" (the things inside the wig which are used to adjust the size of the wig to your head) and tie them together under the "chin" of your base if I understand your problem well
this is amazing and i will definitely be using this, but i'd also love to see how you'd make a pigtail wig.
This is amazing!!! The level of neatness is insane, not a single hair misplaced. You are awesome.

I also made the hot glue mistake... ruined my wig lol

It's just elastic you can found on walmart 😊
Can I ask where you got that wig?
I would like to know how to make Kouyou's wig
How do you prevent the ponytail from sagging? My ponytail on my wig is so heavy it pulls the wig down and makes the hair loose and look bad 😓

Will the UHU glue stick work as well???
No, stick is supposed to be used on paper.
