I lived in Blackpool for two years in 1976-1977 and have a great memories..For 1976 the UK experienced one of the hottest summers..l noticed there are some changes along the beach with new trams..
I don't think so. The ticket you buy on the Heritage tram is for one day costs £11 and allows unlimited travel on both Heritage and new trams and Blackpool Transport buses.Hope that helps.
Blackpool Transport must be doing pretty well. Most councils always claim that they don't have a penny to spend on public transport but they have the new and the historic trams and lots of new buses too.
Yes they have their fair share of new buses. I believe there is more arriving soon. In my opinion Blackpool just wouldn't be Blackpool without the Heritage Trams.
Love this place, was involved with the refurbishment of the shopping centre and also the sea walls for the new track Long haul from Edinburgh but worth it,Blackpool wouldn't be Blackpool without the trams
Cant comment on the Shopping Centre Andy, Never felt the need to go there :-) Good job done on the Sea walls though. I couldn't agree with you more Blackpool wouldn't be the same without the Trams.
I know we have to move with the changing times but its a shame Blackpool introduced modern trams, as the Old Victorian trams are Blackpool and I hope they dont scrap anymore of them and hope we see plenty more of them still running in the new modern day Blackpool and they the old trams run up the new tracks to the station
I was there on the bank holiday Monday oh at 56:67 the man on the boat tram 600 wear the tropical shirt and sunglasses that was me sat at the back of the tram I was also on the Balloon tram 715 sat at the front on the upper deck
That was a very enjoyable 65 minutes, I wonder if Blackpool has ever had 4 consecutive sunny days before? Your fans were out in force, that blonde on the back of the boat tram had her eye on you! :-)
Glad you enjoyed the video. Don't know if they have had 4 sunny days in a row before I' m just glad I was there for this one.I'm pretty sure if anyone had their eyes on me its truly a ' Should have gone to Specsavers ' moment.
I do like the trams but My God that was bloody tram overload! You should maybe re-title this video, One Man's Obsession With Blackpool Trams. Easter weekend was really busy, the beach was hoaching, the pubs were mobbed. So much more to show than just the same old bloody trams lol
When not at work I enjoy filming Transport. In this case it was the Blackpool Heritage Trams over the Bank Holiday Weekend. The video description quite clearly says the video contained footage from all four days of Heritage Tram action. I am well aware that the beach and pubs were very busy and there is a whole lot more to do and see in Blackpool but I was there to video the trams not people on the beach. I am pretty sure that will be adequately covered by all the people on the beach with cameras. I'm sorry you didn't like the video and Thank you for your honest opinion.
Blackpool seems very quiet . Great place to be , great people , ten out of ten for the food .Those trams are a work of art . Missed the one with George Formby . By a country mile , it beats a flight to Alicante , full of drunken chavs , problem is , the drunken chavs hav got a return ticket .
Yes it was quiet in the mornings but got busier as the day went on. Personally I would rather holiday in Blackpool etc the weather doesn't matter when you are enjoying yourself in a pub :-)
Blackpool wonderful always a place in my heart for Blackpool one on its own wonderful memories. Love you Blackpool ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
wonderful video , sending love and thanks from Australia , Blackpool has just wonderful memories of my childhood

Nice to see it Busy and sunny! The Easter bank holiday was glorious, even in Scotland!
By contrast next weekend is Easter 2020 and it will be like a Ghost town with the lockdown
@@cannonfodder6654 will it
Do the bus/tram week passes that you can buy allow you onto the older herritage trams that pass by or is that a separate charge?
I don't think so. The ticket you buy on the Heritage tram is for one day costs £11 and allows unlimited travel on both Heritage and new trams and Blackpool Transport buses.Hope that helps.
brings back childhood memories!
Glad to hear that. The good old days.
why are the illumination lights up already its only May or is this when they usually start to put them back up?
Shut the fuck up
I don't think they took them down.

Is that Blackpool's Berlin Wall at 18:44?
Its work being carried out to improve water quality. Its been like that for a while now.Lets hope it does what they claim it will do.
Excellent quality very well done have many different trams were there running?Wish I had been there.Great Stuff.
Thank You. Glad you liked it. There was 4 Trams on Friday and 6 trams on Saturday,Sunday and Monday.
Uniform fuck trams lol
Get a carriage
Yes it would be nice seeing some of the Heritage Trams operating to the Station, but probably not.
Been to the tram shed lately
Not Yet six months
The restoration
Sorry not Blackpool
You would think they would let the tide out during the day and bring it in at night it would make a lot more sense
Why haven't we thought of that before :-)
Thank for the upload; I enjoyed watching this : I was in Blackpool at the Easter wkend: weather was lovley.
Thank you. Glad you liked the video. Hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as I did.
I was there on the bank holiday Monday oh at 56:67 the man on the boat tram 600 wear the tropical shirt and sunglasses that was me sat at the back of the tram I was also on the Balloon tram 715 sat at the front on the upper deck
Hope you enjoyed yourself. I thought it was great, the good weather was a bonus
Oh yes i see you sat sitting there
Beach Patrol on jet skis?
31 minutes with the Coastguard, kept expecting to see James Bond drive onto the beach in a white Lotus Esprit....😎😎😎
I felt like throwing myself in to get a ride on the back of the Jet Ski :-) Sadly no sign of James Bond.
Lol
That must be quite a challenge with a swell running. Some very neat seamanship there
I agree they certainly know what they are doing.
Agree.

Hi you need to zoom.
Those modern trams Why
Ugly
All in the name of progress :-( Good as they are they don't have character like the heritage fleet, Maybe through time.
Yawn gotta ya
