    The Hong Kong Marathon returned on January 21, 2024 to pre-pandemic levels. A total 74,000 runners took part in the 26th edition of the city’s largest participatory sporting event. The turnout of the previous two marathons were significantly reduced, up to 75%.

    -According to WTO, in 2022, HK is the 10th largest exporter of merchandise trade in the world
    -According to UNCTAD World Investment report 2023, global Direct Foreign Investment inflows to HK amounted to US$117.7 billions, ranked 4th globally
    -In terms of Direct Foreign Investment stock, HK was the 5th largest host
    -According to the Global Financial Centre Index 2023 34th edition, HK is the 4th leading global financial centre

      @@fungj4126 Stock market is only an indicator of perceived investor value, and reflects the continued challenges of the post-pandemic Chinese economy. Most stocks on the HSI are Chinese companies and the index does not accurately reflect Hong Kong's local economy.

    Looks pretty great, but I'm afraid that even January will be too hot in HK for me to run a marathon. Shanghai's late November marathon is just the right temperature.

      @@GarethLee01-tc2vc Every runner has a different 'ideal temperature'. This is completely personal. Some runners like it hotter, some like it colder. There is no 'perfect temperature' that suits all runners.

They all said it was a really comfortable temperature to run, not too cold or not too hot. If you want, I'll send you the link to the video, or you can easily search it up urself unless ur too lazy to do so.

      @@GarethLee01-tc2vc You must not be an athlete, or even do any kind of outdoors activity. Temperature comfort is a personal matter. Surely, in your life you must have spoken with athletes who express differing views of what they consider 'the best' temperature for exercise.
      I actually quite enjoy running in sub-zero temperatures, though I wouldn't say it is ideal for me. On the other hand, anything above 26 C slows me down, and wears me down, quickly. I think the ideal for me is around 12 C.

      Of course temperature comfort is a personal matter. That's why I told you to watch all the interviews of them asking people of different nationalities how they felt about the weather in HK during the marathon.
      Just because you don't think the temperature is ideal doesn't mean the marathon runners in that event don't think it is ideal. Again, I advise you to watch the interviews before you reply me.
      Also as a note, I do outdoor activities. I run, play ice hockey, swim. But what outdoor activities has nothing to do with your reply being unreasonable.
