I really enjoyed your rendition. I don't know the Coleman Hawkins version...yet. I play a B&S Blue Label but I can't make it sound anything like yours yet (with Otto Link 6*) Thanks for the music.
@MissxXxSmarty There is no written music for this title. Just the changes. Played the backing track myself on my midi equipment. After the melody it's mostly improvised.
Hi, the blue labels went out of production about 1990 if I'm not completely wrong. Every now and then a good used B&S pops up on Ebay for a moderate price.
@0bluemike Time is your ally... you're right! Most people say 'time is your enemy'... and that's true but only if you do nothing! Thank you very much Mike :)
@MusicalSawMen This s very high praise - thanks a lot. Type Coleman Hawkins and Greensleves into your TH-cam search. First result is the recording i mean. Decide yourself :-)
hai are you happy whit fibracell reeds i have not tryed them yet can you recomend fibracell reeds they soud similar to cane but how do thei feel and respond to Your articilation
Hi, thanks. Perhaps a mouthpiece with some sort of baffle might help. Concerning Coleman Hawkins: Type Coleman Hawkins and Greensleeves and the first vid on the list is the one I mean. Picture shows some X-Mas bells - don't know why but this is the version.
Oh ya, best rendition of Greensleeves I've ever heard.
Thank you so much Paddy.
Ciao Michele,
Hab schon wieder was Schönes von dir entdeckt. Immer wieder eine Freude, deine Töne und Arrangements zu hören! Danke! Daniel
Danke Daniel. Ist tatsächlich eine meiner Lieblingsaufnahmen.
meraviglioso.
Grazie Paolo 🙂
Ach, jaka piękna, romantyczna muzyka. Melodie zagrane czyściutko, piękne brzmienie saksofonu tenorowego. Jestem oczarowana Pana graniem.
Dziękuję😉
super schön. Danke Hr. Ausserbauer für all Ihre Aufnahmen, sehr inspirierend.
I have heard a lot of Greensleeves in my fifty odd years of playing but never any on tenor sax better than yours. You rang my bell.

you are amazing!
If you don't even come close to Coleman Hawkins recording, then this guy is god !
You continue to inspire me. Sorry for thinking that you were a German who lived in U.S.
Sounds pretty awesome to me. Nice Job!
thx Jany&Mike 😊
Hi, the Sonora comes essentially from the same stable but - as far as I know - was buildt before the Blue Label. Both are pretty mighty horns.
Awesome

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sorry guys, the sax makes very little difference. Michael is just very good. He would sound the same on any instrument. He is a beautiful player!
@0bluemike Time is your ally... you're right! Most people say 'time is your enemy'... and that's true but only if you do nothing! Thank you very much Mike :)
this song brings goods sensations, thanks for a few minutes of pure hapiness!!!
Is this song a made of Coleman Hawkins? I'd like to know...
Hi, that really was beautiful! Would it be possible for you to upload an mp3 recording of it?
Muito obrigado! ;-)
what age did you start playing i really enjoy listening to you play.
@wisewords7: Thank you so much. The Hawkins version is out of this world. Your comment on my version makes me really happy.
@MusicalSawMen This s very high praise - thanks a lot. Type Coleman Hawkins and Greensleves into your TH-cam search. First result is the recording i mean. Decide yourself :-)

Hi, it's in D minor, which makes it E minor for the tenor. Backing track is my own creation.
I got your request but no link unfortunately.. =S
I'm sure Michael would make an old milk bottle and straw Sound great. Fantastic player.
Thanks. Maybe I should give the good old milk bottle a try 😉

With all due respect but your version like a lot more than Coleman. Great amazing. Thank you.

I like my fibracell, doesn't need moistening, but performs better when warm.
Its an advantage as a music tutor.
Hi, there is no big difference between the feel of a real cane reed and the Fibracells.
Mir gefällt Deine Version auch besser als das Original. Einfach schön!!
;-) de nada
