- This play when you are challenging Kyogre and Groudon in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
To check out their battle, just click on the video cards ("!")
---
Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!
I think I explained everything now. Enjoy and have a great day!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All musics, gameplay and content included within this video are transformative, creative, have educational value and this recording are from my own gameplay. I'm also the one that created that concept video ideas. No copyright infringement is intended.

I like how in Pokemon Emerald when Groudon and Kyogre are battling 'intensely' Groudon gets a tiny rock that he barely fits on and Kyogre gets the entire sea around him.
Groudon-“Come at me bitch”
Groudon OR Kyogre, the legendary Pokemon ends up as a 10/YO's pet.
I mean, what's at the bottom of the ocean? Land. Land is what holds the ocean up, and so, ladies and gentlemen, we can see the Groudon secretly has the edge.
Lol kyoge could just shoot the tiny rock and groudon will fall off
I want kyogre gets the intire ocean and groudon gets a giant chunk of land

I love how grumpy they look, like groudon looks like he had a really bad day and is about to go full primal mode at any small annoyance, while kyogre is tired of always having to deal with groudon's rage so he is holding a grudge and looks dead inside, so someone has to start appreciating the fact that rayquaza is always babysitting these two.

To be fair they've been sleeping for thousands of years and were woken up to be caught by a 10 year old child

i caught Groudon using Pokeball
I caught Kyogre using a Dive Ball QwQ
It feels like weaker pokéballs thrown after stronger ones are more likely to catch then just a strong pokéball.
This song reminds me of kyogre's double edge and in a really bad way
+diaruga483 That was so annoying, had to restart sooooo many times

I love how both Groudon and Kyogre can both learn the move that takes full advantage of the weather being Groudons solarbeam and Kyogres thunder.
and their set up moves help increase the stat they are good in, bulk up and calm mind
Ironically those moves are the ones they are WEAK to. Groudon is weak to Solarbeam and Kyogre is weak to Thunder.

Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza truly felt like divine beings, actual gods with powers far beyond what any other Pokemon could do. You're not just facing abnormally strong Pokemon, you're facing the beings that raised the continents, carved out the seas, and lord over the earth as their domain, creatures that had existed for millions of years, long before man set foot on the planet, and will exist long after man vanishes. This trio, and the others that came after it, were truly fitting of the term "Legendary"
And then there's Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon (Primal Kyogre to a lesser extent).
But then you accidentally one shot it with Mega Swampert's Earthquake............

Take this like, damn it.
Yes
To those who don’t know, this trio (Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre) is hands down the strongest legendary group. Kyogre ruled competitive legendary fights for 3 entire gen. Then the megas appeared and M-Groudon ruled for 2 gen (since he’s not in gen8). BTW they created a new fighting ground for mega Rayquaza were EVERYTHING is allowed cause he was beyond broken (more than Arceus).
Rayquaza demolished everything in the competitive scene ever since it was released. It only could really be counterpicked in Gen 6, but then ORAS came out, and they made Mega Rayquaza have the same stat total as Mega Mewtwo, which means it's as strong as the thing that's stronger than God.

Upon reflection, I quite liked the grim, apocalyptic atmosphere in these games as a kid. I know all the subsequent Pokemon games started doing that as the standard plot (IE, an evil organization and/or a legendary Pokemon are bringing about the destruction of the Earth), but I think it was done best in Gen 3 before. It was still fresh and new because it hadn't become routine yet. The lead-up to taking down Kyogre/Groudon (with the music and the turbulent weather) really gave you the sense that the world was ending. I think what helps is that the nature of the threat posed by these legendary Pokemon and the cults that worship them is very unambiguous: Earth will become a scorched desert from centuries of day without night _or_ the oceans will rise up and swallow the continents. There's a charming simplicity to it that the later games lack because they get too convoluted in explaining why reality is going to be destroyed for the seventeenth time this past decade. The fact that these apocalypses keep getting averted gives them less weight and makes it seem like what's happening isn't that big of a deal, whereas descending into the Earth to face the great old one Kyogre/Groudon felt tense and exciting.
In hindsight, I think these games helped spur my eventual fondness for cosmic horror and post-apocalyptic fiction. Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza are sort of like the kiddie versions of the elder Gods from a Lovecraft story, where they're just these primordial beings from ancient times that have existed for far longer than humanity. Alternatively, they're all a bit like various Gods from Aztec mythology. Kyogre is Cipactli (a behemoth crocodile that swam in the waters of non-existence), Groudon is Huītzilōpōchtli (the God of the sun and fire, who demands ritual sacrifices to raise it and lower it everyday), and Rayquaza is of course Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent (who's also green, incidentally).
Generation 3 followed the formula, but it did something new by raising the stakes to undeniable levels of danger, the only reason the Drought/ Heavy rainfall doesn't consume Hoenn its us
And Generation 4 was the only time reality was going to be destroyed don't exaggerate

For all y'all that chose Sapphire/Alpha Sapphire, I'd like you all to know that you're brave. Groudon is literally the easiest Legendary to catch. It keeps using the move "Rest". Automatic bonus! Groudon is such a cuddly pea-brain.
Tresnota and Kyogre is hell, Aqua Ring for healing, Origin Pulse to nuke you, Ice Beam in case you try to outsmart him and Body Slam for added bullshit paralysis and crits. Add to the fact that Origin Pulse is hitting for 75%-150% harder.
Another Bonus! Its Primal form is immune to water type attacks
A Casual TH-cam Channel Groudon can be tough if he takes too long to catch since he heals himself to full at times.
Satan The Arbiter Yeah, but he takes like 2 Earthquakes from a Mega Swampert and then i can just abuse the sleep status affect...took me 9 regular Pokeballs to catch it
Uhh, d-uuuh, kyogre uses rest, too.
Hoenn will always the best legendaries. Nothing will ever beat the weather trio.
1:03 The flute is just so amazing ♡ I love it so much ♡ The transition back to the trumpets is so well done ♡
this theme instantly becomes 100x better with headphones on
The weather trio are easily my favorite Pokémon. Although I do like Groudon more than the other two, all three of them to me are a perfect blend of friendly, powerful, cool, and oddly cute. They’re pretty much the first ever legendaries that seemed like they were actually legendary. Their theme is simple yet imposing, their designs are detailed enough to be hard to draw without reference pictures, but aren’t at all cluttered and fit the original feel of Pokémon’s original designs perfectly with their rough edges and non-perfectly-circular curves. Honestly, I can’t wait to get Omega Ruby from my Amazon purchase, as getting Groudon ALONE is enough of a motivation to complete the game. Plus, with Pokémon Home, there can be a possibility that I can put him in any game that I own, as my own. Again, easily my favorite Pokémon right now, and most-likely a very long time.
Groudon is derpy, that's why i like him
Makes me remember my first time playing through Sapphire and battling Kyogre. The music itself made me feel like this thing had to be stopped before it caused a worldwide catastrophe. So many wasted ultra balls...damn thing took forever to catch the right way rather than just trolling it with a Master Ball.

This brings back memories of me struggling to catch Kyogre. I was a total noob and was trying so hard to weaken kyogre but not kill it and at the same time catch it without it wiping out all of my pokemon. I remember how tense I felt back then trying to concentrate as if it was life and death. Man, I miss those times when pokemon games felt challenging.
DUDE YES! Although I played Omega Ruby AND Ruby.
Idk man, Legends Arceus is pretty hard, Volo was a pain in the butt to deal with, also the Arceus fight was pretty tough too.
When you realise 10 years later that there are the easiest legendary bout the catch rate and they can be catch in a random Pokéball easily xD
I like the idea of Groudon and Kyogre forming the surface of Earth by battling each other, disagreeing about what the surface should look like. When Rayquaza stopped them, Kyogre was winning due to its type advantage, which is why the majority of the surface is covered by water. This is a nice way to use game mechanics as a storytelling device.
Sure he may cover the earth in water
But you can't do nothing about the whole mantle of the Earth!
Still one of the best themes for legendary Pokemon. And Pokemon in general.
Most intimidating Pokemon music

DA DA DA DA DA DA I love this song thank you dude you brought back so much memories that is why I subscribed!
Honestly, I love the drums in this.
They make for such a constant, imposing presence, reminding you of the building tension and threat as every second passes without the Legendary taken down

What a glorious read that story was.
I have several questions
I love how apocalyptic it sounds
I find it amusing after all these years i still get goosebumps! I can briefly remember my first time playing this game but i remember it was sick like no words can describe.
When I was younger, this music disappointed me when I first heard it, as I expected Groudon's battle music to be absolutely action-packed and fast paced. Weird how this is now one of my favorite legendary battle themes.
Probably THE most fitting theme for any legendary pokemon released so far. Or just any battle in general.

This still gives me the chills! I was a kid when I played Sapphire, and this music got stuck in my head. It's so tense, it gives the perfect atmosphere of the situation since you're facing a legendary.
I listen to gen 3 themes including FRLG every blue moon and they always remind me of powerful music is. Always makes me cry because they remind me of happier times.

The best Pokémon soundtrack.
I get goosebumps listening to this song and trying to catching them both. I LOVE IT
I always wondered how this would sound without the constant low health indicator.
always love the veins on this legendary trio
I think this is the best Groudon and kyogre theme
I play this when I have an online exam and I know it’s going to be difficult. The added pressure brings out the best in me
I swear Kyogre was a damn nightmare to face in Saphire unless you were overlevelled or had the right tank. The thing hit so hard at lv45, and if you'd only levelled up your starters like I did in my first playthrough. Groudon wasn't easy either, but was manageable with Swampert and if you get it to exhaust Fireblast, Duskull works really well 'cause it's immune to Earthquake and Slash. Kyogre was something else though, not arguing about their strength over each other, just the particular legendary battle in Saphire and Ruby respectively.
This theme makes me picture the huge tail of a Whale splashing a roaring thunderous ocean while a distant volcano explodes with the roars of a tectonic beast, long ago, in a primordial earth
I love how they combined this with the new theme
This is a different level of nostalgia I swear
Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald music is peak everything, peak .. life.. this is it, it just doesnt get better

0:08 Insert Kyogre, Groudom and Rayquaza's cry
This also plays when you battle Rayquaza (Lv70) at the Sky Pillar
As long as you have a Pokemon with high Sp. Def. (Gardevoir with Calm Mind) you should be able to handle it
Legendary Pokémon themes but for oddly specific colors
Suicune/Entei/Raikou: A very light gray with a pastel purple tint
Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza: The Yellow you see on old bells and nowhere else, with a bit of maroon
Forces of Nature/Swords of Justice: Metal after being scratched by another metal
Xerneas/Yveltal:
Tan with a hint of periwinkle
Best battle theme hands down
how many trumpets do you want in the OST?
Groudon / Kyogre: yes
More than any other theme in the entire series; this feels like you’re encountering something you shouldn’t be. In your earnest, naive effort to save the region from destruction you have entered these ancient behemoths’ respective lairs and brought forth an orb that has stirred them into an enraged awakening. Now you alone must choose between silencing their fury once and for all, or throwing everything you have into calming them to earn their trust so that they may fight by your side.
This is my favorite boss battle theme. The reason is, is that Groudon and Kyogre, are literally FORCES OF NATURE.

I love the air sound in the background, it's vague enough to fit for all 3. Groudon's steam, Kyogre's running water, and Rayquaza's breeze

Chew on this: Groudon is 2x weak to Water. Primal Groudon is 4x weak to Water. Groudon is 4x weak to Kyogre and fought it to a stalemate until Rayquaza broke it up. On top of that, Groudon fought Kyogre from a small patch of land while Kyogre had the entire ocean at its disposal. I don't think any other Pokémon in the entire history of the franchise has anything on that.

So y’all ready to be sad?
When I was in 8th grade, early in the year, I came home from visiting a grandparent and my dad went to go and feed our St. Bernard, but she wasn’t jumping at the door or even eating her food. I had my Pokémon Emerald game in my DS, and was making my way through it. We decided not to get an x ray because urgent care said she was probably ok. Her vet said the next day that it was likely the joint problems in many big dogs, and gave her a medication. She was too snowed on them to communicate her problem, and by evening she was barely moving. She did, however, nudge my parents awake so that she didn’t pee on the carpet. She was immediately taken to the vet because there was clearly something worse going on. As the school day went on and I was getting to the end of Emerald (about victory road), i got taken out because the vet didn’t see to her for 8 hours, taking regular check ups first, and when they did, they immediately said she needed to go to the hospital. It took another half hour to reach them, my dad at the help desk, and me frantically calling their office. We almost got in an accident because we tried our best to go through the traffic, and I kept stroking her as we went. The hospital saw her immediately, and said she had a very preventable abscess in her stomach. She flatlined during the operation, and as I was home going to the Sky Pillar. I finished as we got to see her one last time, and I let the Rayquaza beat me down to my last Pokémon before throwing my master ball, just like how she would knock people over when she went to give them love. I named it after her and put it in my last box of the PC.
One time a random dog can up and starting mating with my dog (my dog is a small chihuahua and was out on the porch, I saw it and went outside to scare the dog off, but instead it ran up the road with my dog, dragging her on the cement, eventually she got unattached from the dog and we picked her up and brought her home, she was mostly fine besides a broken tooth. After a day or two we took her to the vet to make sure she wasn’t pregnant, she got surgery so that she couldn’t give birth(giving birth would probably kill her because shes so small) and after all that it turns out she wasn’t even pregnant in the first place, but she can’t give birth now incase that ever happens again, that happened like a year or two ago and she’s fine now though
And why would you tell us this?
I freakin' love how this got used in the ORAS theme. Made it all the more epic.
