Yeah, actually, this cutscene could greatly benefit from a small rewrite to feature a much smarter, scheming Medivh we see further, as well as some first hints of Jaina being someone more than she seems.
For me the difference is that he commended Garithos actions, giving him validation where no one outside his group did and therefore he was willing to listen.
@@ТимофейЕрмак-ш4т Medivh's lines towards Garithos were changed for a reason. There are definitely lots of ways he could be more persuasive towards Antonidas too.
Meanwhile, on Starcraft: Reign of the Void: Salvation of the Dominion… Somewhere in Umoja, after Raynor sneaks in and overhears Magellan's conversation with Ouros before the Xel'Naga ends the conversation with him, he's told to investigate the Zerg matter plaguing the Dominion, and that he will be working with General Edmund Duke himself. Jim groans in exasperation, seemingly already familiar with Duke, and says he'll do his best. Days later in Agria, General Duke and Captain Warfield wait impatiently for "Marshal" Raynor to arrive, and when he eventually does, they start snipping at one another over some incident in the past. When Warfield asks, Jim explains that he ended up breaking some obscure Dominion law over destroying an infested structure. He managed to win the lawsuit, the rules were altered, and Duke has resented him over it since then. The general then accuses the mercenary for flirting with the Emperor's Shadow and reminds him that such behavior is unbecoming for the both of them before having Warfield provide his briefing. Afterwards, Jim is salty that no Vulture is provided for him, and will have to settle with Marine armor instead. Duke doesn't immediately resort to executing the tax evader and instead demands and acquires an explanation: bandits, because it's always bandits. He and his men (and Jim) swiftly settle this matter. After saving a bunch of Dominion forces further ahead from the Zerg, Duke's company find an infested base and get rid of it. Jim rubs this fact in Duke's face, given that the previous law would've required a lot of mandates to authorize the destruction of this base. Upon meeting Telandis, he and his Zealot escort offer their assistance, but Duke distrusts them due to his home planet falling to the Zerg because the Conclave did not provide aid when old squadron most needed it. As a result, they're NPC allies. Duke calls out D'argyl the Siege Tank operator for only firing on the Zerg as soon as he saw the general's own Tank. Unclean One is surprised to see Duke here and departs to continue his mission, but not before siccing an Ultralisk on the party, which is handily defeated. Afterwards, they head off to Andasar.
At this point I am almost expecting that in the final cinematic real Jaina will show up alongside the Dreadlord one saying "sorry I'm late, lord Garithos, I brought those anti-undead enchantments from Dalaran. Ohhh, what did I miss?"
8:00 I love that he says "unholy creatures" and not inhuman beasts because skeletons are humans
Crazy that Dreadlord Jaina was able to nab and replace the actual Jaina underneath the nose of Antonidas.
She could've been impersonated when she went for help for Hearthglen. In maps 3 and 4 there are no "evil" dialogs of her.
Unless she was always the Dreadlord.
I also think she was replaced in her way from Dalaran. No offspring or Lord Proudmoore would dare running late anywhere ! ne-ver!
I think at this point it still is the regular Jaina.
How I figured it, she gets replaced during the defense of Heartglen
Kind of want a custom campaign about dreadlord jaina
A Salvatory ploy, Executor. So long as we get our briefings back, I'll stick to whatever video you publish.
God i love the captains briefing!
Can’t wait to see Dreadlady Jaina in action
Now we need our lord to take over the Orc and Night Elf campaign
I just realized that this IS the foreshadowing of jaina being a dreadlord. MY GOD.
A Dreadlady
"It is also an Elf, perhaps an replacement is in order?"
💀
Medivh needs a course for oral communication. For a herald, he sucks ass in conveying messages
but Garithos understood him loud and clear
so, this is not Medivh problem. Everyone else is just made of stupid

Garithos : Jaina STOP SIMPING
also Garithos after girls said he looks amazing : WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR
Now that I think about it. Is the real Jaina gonna ride a horse so that Garithos will know she's the real one?
I didnt notice the extra info of description units for elven priests and dwarves mortar xD
The worst plague in this map is the lack of respect Jaina has for humanity.

Bone Ash! A Diablo 2 Reference
The Grainlord Jainna Dreadmoore 😮
Garithos voice is like a rowan atkinson voice

Nah, the Marshal is far smarter than the orange man. And he doesn't sleep with porn actresses or pay for their silence.
