I changed the dark knights voice because the old version had low pitch which made the voice hard to understand. I wil finish these reposts today and have the ending cinematic ready tomorrow but we'll see.
I did prefer the old voice more. I had no issues understanding it and it gave gravitas, umph to their voice. Like they were toughened men. This sounds... Like they're bored, maybe an inexperienced voice actor. Old one sounded serious and fierce! Would it be possible to get the old voice as an option in the mod?
@@thebigidea9659 Garithos saved what he could by performing exorcism, and put down the infected who was beyond saving at this point. Goddamn how useless Uther has been in this bloody business.
“As if I care” is gold. But I think Uther can’t be superior to Garithos by rank at that point. “But I’m still your superior as an old man” probably. Also I’d remade holy light into first aid or something and make it into human-only heal
According to Mathias Shaw from "World of Warcraft: Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms" there was more than one way to handle the situation in Stratholme, ways that would grant salvation to some, if not all.
Man any idiot can write on their desk add to completely nothing to this sort of moral dilemma. Its not like Shawn was there and there's no real value in half measures.
@@EmperorKarino Well, I have a contrasting theory (theory only) for that. Even with the purge done, everyone slayed with what's left of them in Jaina cutscene could still be brought back and even without anything left as bodiless ghosts wreaking havoc for the Scourge once again. The only reason that did not take place was because the purpose of the plague was to drive Arthas more and more desperate in his more ruthless approach with a belief that his way works (with Mal'ganis in Northrend Scourge slowed or even stopped what it was doing to make others think Arthas indeed was saving the day to welcome him back as a victorious hero) so much that he believed Frostmourne was indeed the only way to defeat Mal'ganis.
Meanwhile, on Starcraft: Reign of the Void: Salvation of the Dominion… Once just outside New Gettysburg, Edmund Duke greets Atticus Carpenter, who isn't pleased with his tone: Duke may be the general, but the Ghosts still answer to Mengsk directly. Duke doesn't give a damn and shows the direness of the situation: the population has been infested with tainted vespene, and it's only a matter of time before they become Infested. He and Carpenter both know all too well what their Emperor's policy for such a situation would be: purge the city. Carpenter is aghast at the suggestion, but Duke is adamant that if his Ghosts are not going to help in this matter, they should at least stand by in the base and watch. The general can still charge them for desertion if they leave, and if they want to take it up to Mengsk himself, they can contact him right now. That's when he notices "Jim" about to bounce, and he reminds Duke that he's just a mercenary and thus isn't part of the Dominion. It's only from the fact that the situation is dire that he won't attempt to evacuate the civilians: as much as he hates it, Duke is still right, and he would be completely alone in this matter. Once he's gone, Captain Warfield delivers the briefing. After that briefing, some of the Ghosts that were with Carpenter decided to take Duke's side and join in the purge, to the general's pleasure. Zasz introduces himself via his Hunter Killer and Overlord and of his intentions, and Duke banters back, "Not on my watch, Cerebrate!" Thanks to finding some old research that Kerrigan never bohers to look for in the "original" timeline, the Medics have found a way to purge the tainted vespene from the populace, though it's lethal half of the time. Dukes takes what he can get and gets them to work on it and evacuate the cured civilians to their base. After Duke "wins" the race to cleanse New Gettysburg, Zasz taunts that Duke's journey has just begun. Despite getting double teamed against Duke's Tank and Warfield's Goliath, they just ended up killing his Hunter Killer and Zasz himself via Overlord tells them to meet him on Char. Given this has long become a declaration of war against the Dominion, and in order to prevent another tainted vespene incident, Duke assembles an army to pursue the Cerebrate there, leaving Carpenter to manage the aftermath and the cured denizens. During the aftermath of this whole mess, Jim, or rather Rames Jaynor, is grumbling at how Duke risks upending his faction's entire operation in his hunt for Zasz. During this, he walked amidst the ruins of the city, where Civilians are divided between blaming Duke for the destruction and thanking him for doing what he could to stop the tainted vespene gas. Just then, Atticus Carpenter arrives and asks "Jim" where Duke sent the army after shafting him with cleanup duty at New Gettysburg. "Jim" tells him, and Carpenter intends to inform Emperor Mengsk of the matter, and he tells the mercenary to not hold himself responsible for the… slaughter, before then leaving. Just then, Rames receives taunting words from Ouros that this change in the timeline cannot be stopped before "departing", but the mysterious agent assures that Duke will be cast aside, Kerrigan WILL still find the Essence of Infinity as prophesied, and that his side will ultimately be victorious. But the question remains: what has he done to the real James Eugene Raynor?
*"As if I care"* Laughed a bit too hard... Then Uther "bubbled"(Divine shield). Good thing that skill has been nerfed, no more invulnerability xD Love how Garithos already knew about Jaina being a demon... Wait is Dreadlord a demon?
I don't get the question. From a software perspective when a unit dies it has a death animation. At the very moment a new object a skeleton is created on the ground. The dead unit's model blends into the ground for smooth transition. From gameplay perspective skeletons are used to resurrected or raised as animated skeletons.
Probably because when the game was made in 2003, a dead unit still has its 3D model while a skeleton is just a 2D sticker so the hardware can be saved.
It's a game mechanic. The Scourge can collect corpses with meat wagons to transport them for necromancers to raise as skeletons, or ghouls to eat to regain health. Paladins (not Garithos) can also bring dead allies back to life if those corpses belonged to their own units. Death Knights can also do this, but on enemy corpses instead, though this is temporary.
Considering the fact that this version of events emphasizes even more the already blatantly obvious point that human corpses would simply be reanimated by the undead army, Garithos's decision is even more foolish than Arthas's. "Let’s provide the undead army with the entire population of Stratholme (which probably consists of hundreds, if not millions of people, considering it’s the capital of Lordaeron) to give them the boost they need to destroy us later and, afterward, the entirety of Lordaeron," say both Garithos and Arthas. Great plan, guys. Great plan.
It's not about quantity of material, but its quality. Yes, you can reanimate a corpse, but a turned zombie would be better and serve longer. Plus, in case of Arthas, he stayed a while in Stratholm to burn the corpses. Ain't gonna raise ash without Sunwell.

Purging Stratholme was the right thing to do. Chasing after Mal'Ganis instead of wiping out the rest of the Cult of the Damned was the mistake.
