- The many awesome massive creature features at Kentucky's Lake Malone! How many massive creatures are there at Kentucky's Lake Malone? The Massive BIG TWIGS creature Features at Kentucky's Lake Malone in western Kentucky are truly epic with an oversized creatures known as the "Big Twigs" that draw people by the thousands for hundreds of miles. We'd heard about them and decided we had to check 'em out and leisurely tour Lake Malone for ourselves! If you're a fan of the Thomas Dambo trolls we covered in earlier videos, you've GOT to see these Lake loungers! Don't be too quick to click out! We have some fun with this one the Off Ramp Adventures way! By the way, we missed one when we were there but managed to add it to the video…can you find it?

Love it when you share the Big Twig Creatures. They are so whimsical. You can't beat em. The hiking area itself is so pretty; especially around the lake. Those rocks are huge. The Groutish looking character was so cute too. Just love all the details they include in all these guys.

You may have completely missed the dark undertones of this story. These twig people appear to be attempting to capture all wildlife in the park - fish, butterflies, fireflies - all, as far as I can tell, to cook these creatures over their campfire. Or perhaps, I misinterpreted these statues. That is the thing about good art - we all see different things in it. LOL. Actually these are really cool additions to the park. Thanks for sharing these big twigs with us!
I lean toward keeping the Big Twigs on the fun side of things, wanting to see the whimsy...especially with the one, Happy Malone, toasting a marshmallow over the open fire, but I see what you mean. Thanks for checking 'em out with us!
