It's in ruins now but Rose Island was one amazing resort / amusement park to check out. It's one of our more extended tours but there was a lot to cover. Hope you enjoy and thanks for subscribing! Remember...subscriptions are FREE!
That's amazing how, about a century later, very little remains of this once-bustling tourist attraction. I've never heard of this before, so thank you for sharing!
New Subscribers 💯 Hello from your friends in Naples, Florida. Very nice! A neat place to visit. Very peaceful there. Thanks for sharing the amazing views with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
This is a fascinating video! I had never heard of Rose Island. It is so interesting to tour ruins and see what is left of areas that have experienced such devastation. We enjoyed hearing about this amusement park's history. It is sad to see a place that brought so much fun into people's lives all wiped out in a flood. Thanks for showing us this place!
Hi folks! New Subscriber here. I was fortunate to have your video of the 6 screen drive in pop up in my TH-cam thread a few days ago. I have been happily binging on the videos on your channel ever since; still have a bunch more to go. Just wanted to take a minute to say, as everyone else does here, I love your videos. Thanks to you both for all you do to share these places with us. After watching the climb to Abe’s house and winding up those info boxes in this video, you guys go above and beyond; and it’s greatly appreciated. Well, back to binging more of your vids as I work today; just don’t tell the boss. 🤫😁 Wishing you guys all of the best and look forward to your future videos!
We really appreciate your kind words about our videos! Ever since we started our channel we wanted to create something entertaining that lets folks step away from the world for a few minutes, and maybe get a laugh or two. Thanks for watching!
I’m glad y’all made the video for this place because I used to love doing things like this but not able to anymore. Looks like Rose Island would have been a great place to visit in that era.

We love the fact you enjoyed taking the tour with us! Rose Island was truly something at one time. Thanks for stopping in!
Great that you was able to walk around where the theme park would of been
Trying to imagine what that would have been like is fun! Thanks for the visit!
Always look forward to your posts! This is a good one. I think you meant $913,000 in today’s money. ☺️
I relied on Google to do the computing...Of course, I might have misplaced a zero or two. 😆 Nice catch and thanks for watching!
Oh WOW! It must have been something back in the day. It was still a pretty hike. Wouldn’t it be something to take a steamboat from there.
Luckily Louisville still has a steamboat you can ride down the Ohio but would love to have been able to check out Rose Island
