    I have been doing scapular swings for a few months now and my back feels better than ever.
    Gymnastic strengthening and mobilising exercises really are the best form of exercise I have found. There are so many exercise programmes out there that try to reinvent the wheel, but these exercises have been carried out and refined by generations of gymnasts and just work better than anything else.
    This has to be one of the best channels on TH-cam for anyone wanting to improve their physique and gymnastic performance.

    Gymnastics is the most wise, complete and rewarding way to perfect your body and gain down to Earth wisdom.
    It is not coincidence the strongest people in History made gymnastic practice the founding stone of their system.

    Your response @Gymnastics Method would help me a lot while I'm learning to be a personal Fitness trainer myself. Because I understand the importance and different techniques for breathing in different types of exercises.

      Not quite a replacement as the resistance for this exercise is largely vertical and resistance for the face pull is strictly horizontal. Quite a different effect.
      But, a great addition indeed. Looking forward to trying this myself!

    Amazing channel, good information, good editing. Though id like to know from your personal journey, when did you start seeing arm muscle growth? Was it when you did bicep curls, or when you did front raises and planche training, or was it on pullups and rope climbing. Id like to know what was the most effective movement or routine that you followed for your excellent arms

    A former bodybuilder here. Always had weak pullup or vertical pull strength relative to horizontal pull. I want to improve my pullup strength to improve my back development. I'm 48 with many injuries. Would you have a program you sell that can help me out? I want to still include traditional bodybuilding exercises like squats, bench, deadlifts. Thanks

    what is better 1 1 arm pull up or 10 nomal pull ups what is more effektive for the back

    • @angelpeep4888
      @angelpeep4888 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      thats a stupid comparison sorry, but ofcourse the 10 will be better for hypertrophy while the OAP will be better for incredible pulling strength

    • @karmacop217
      @karmacop217 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Normal pull ups are still fantastic for building a big back, no need to complicate things with exercises you can barely do, progress to build up the adequate strength for a harder variation.

    Doing this exercise on a non-bendy bar, would it make the exercise harder and more difficult to perform?

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Just different. Difficulty depends on how you like it. With a bendy bar you really need to follow the rhythm of the bar, but it helps you a bit, on a non-bendy bar you need to be like a rubber band and create the bouncing swinging movement on your own. Both are fun IMO

  • @roro2053
    @roro2053 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey man, I am thinking about subscribing to your lessons, but I do not have access to pull up bars, I only have dib bars and resistance bands. May I know how much of your lessons requires pull up bar?

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You’ll need something to hang on. In the beginning for the scapula stuff it can be a sturdy door but over time it’s HIGHLY recommended to solve this somehow. It’s so much better for your improvement, believe me
