I think those five dollar trees are perfect for nursing home bedrooms for residents whom love Christmas trees. They can be decorated with ornaments from dollar tree as well. Each tree could cost about twenty dollars with ornaments but worth it as a volunteer craft project for five or more trees in certain rooms that love trees that much. The dollar trees are nice for those who want a smaller tree in their room or if its a budget problem solved if there are more residents who love Christmas trees. Kindest Regards, Aiden Alamo
They are. I work at a nursing home. Our owners wife did 5 HUGE trees in the facility, all magazine worthy and each unique. Some residents have the mini trees for their rooms and some have the 4 ft ones. Some add a beautiful wreath to their door. I love seeing all the decorations.
I can't seem to locate a dollar tree plus store near me, and when I go on the dollar tree website, it doesn't separate dollar tree plus from regular, even though I ask for plus locations
That’s true but I did notice recently that on the website they have some dollar plus items finally. Just waiting for an amazing dollar tree plus store to come by me also!
Most have a sign on the window that there is a plus inside. Not sure there is a locator. I have heard all are turning to plus stores eventually so fingers crossed you find one soon ❤️

Also walmart is great for Christmas stuff. I got a 4ft really pretty cashmere style fake tree that's pre-lit for only $25. And they have cheap mini tree ornaments and decor. Love these diys though! Didn't know dollar tree had fake trees!
I LOVE the swag idea!! I was planning on purchasing pre-lit swags, but it was more than $60 for a pair! I already have ribbon and lots of fairy lights, so hopefully my local dollar tree will be stocked with these mini Christmas trees! The DIYs look stunning and expensive 😍

Fabulous ideas at an affordable price! 👍🏻🎄 Several days later: I’ve been to the Dollar Tree and purchased 3 small trees and 2 large trees plus a cart full of ribbon, picks and ornaments. I may go back and get 2 more large trees so I can do a fuller one like you did for my front porch. I also plan to make a door swag and a double sided mailbox swag with the small trees and a mantle “garland” with the 2 large. Thanks for these cost saving tips. I’ll probably do something a little different next year, but will add a little each year because I can’t afford all new decorations every year.

I did A Charlie Brown Christmas a few years or so ago in a neighborhood contest a friend of mine worked at a place where they could blow up anything you want and they can make it look like a giant poster so I have one fitted to the size of my window had it laminated because I was going to place it outside the window what was the Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon strip I worked at a retail store got all of it at a big discount from the previous Christmas everything I brought was 90% off so I knew what I was going to do for the next contest I had everything Charlie Brown tree all the Charlie Brown characters Snoopy's dog house it matched the cartoon strip that came to life in my front yard everything I had cost me a total of just about $40 the poster was free including the lights that I need it and I won first place

The original Grinch cartoon is the only Grinch movie to watch! I’m with you Shannon. I have a stuffed Grinch on my bed and got a little Grinch throw for my bed and it came with a matching “Santa” hat but with my man the Grinch all over it. I was going to get a phone case but can’t bring myself to pay $25 so will get some fabric and make my own. Also have a watch band on the way for my Apple Watch!! WooHoo!! Grinch all the way !!

Like the basic tree with candles, but I would loose the top. In my opinion it makes it look cheap. Good idea basically. Would never come up with using the trees for swags for the porch lights. Great idea.
When I was little my parents had a string of lights that looked like the candles, as they warmed up they bubbled! So fun wish I grabbed those after they passed!
