- I hope you are sitting down for this video because these Dollar Tree Christmas DIYs will knock your socks off. Just grab a few Dollar Tree mini-trees and you can make these quick DIY Christmas ideas.
Am I having a weird fever dream or did Dollar Tree used to sell an iridescence style Christmas tree a few years ago? When I asked a local Dollar Tree manager about them, she looked at me like I was crazy. She said she has worked at Dollar Tree for 5 years.

The white ones yep they had iridescent but I think they stopped carrying them. Ours only had them one year

Our DT had them when we lived in Georgia and I KNOW I bought a whole box of them. I have an extensive craft stash from all of our moves, that now I can’t find. Y’all please pray for my kids! 🤣 They’re the ones who will have to go through it at some point.

Dollar Tree hula hoops are often stored in the back room as overstock/seasonal. If you ask very nicely at a slow time, the staff will go back and bring out last years' hula hoops for you to buy. You can spray paint the bare hula hoop to blend in.

Yayyy it’s Megan! I’m always happy to see you’ve posted a video. These are all fantastic. Last year I bought a bunch of trees, but I had a young man renting a room from me. After Christmas I was sorting through Christmas decorations and crafting supplies and went to the craft cave for things. When I came back he had packed it all up and taken it to the barn. Now I can’t find the green trees and DT is totally out. You have done an amazing job with these. Bo one would ever know those started as the crazy DT trees.
Your decor DIYs are always the best. I think I would prefer the angel to be made with a more conical bin base so its shoulders wouldn't be so assertive-looking, but that's just my bias favoring slope-shouldered, triangular angels. The bin you used to make the angel puts me in mind of a peg doll, and with a bigger head it would be a great base for making 'giant' decorative peg dolls! (And thank you for the warning about the sharp points. I like to use those inexpensive gardening gloves with vinyl coating on the palm side of the fingers if I need to manipulate stuff that has sharp edges; they have the benefit of being available in small sizes to fit smaller hands snugly, and the fabric itself is fairly thin, so they allow for greater dexterity.)
I struggled to find a good base for this angel! Originally, I tried using a taller cone for the body and covered it with tulle for the angel dress. Once I added the head and the wings it looked too much like a ghost. Finally I ended up going for a more minimalist style of angel , the one in the video, but there are sooooo many ways this diy could be made.
I definitely need to get crafting gloves. I scratched the heck out of my hands making these DIYs. Merry Christmas & much love to you, Olive! ❤️

I am making*two versions, one as we speak but am doing it with the DS white trees and adding silver picks….and glass candle holders as they didn’t have the metal ones…,WOW… thank you again for the ideas! 😊

Love these ideas but I'm absolutely going to make the bell. The candle display is my other to-do project and I love the idea of a table centerpiece. Four trees - I've got the candle holders, a tray, and since I live in the country, more pine cones that one person can craft with! Thanks for the great ideas Megan!

I really appreciate these awesome Christmas DIY'S. My favorite is the huge white hula hoop wreath with the lights. I live in FL where its still in the 80's here in Dec and hot glue just doesnt hold up outside in the heat. All my ornament balls would fall right off, so I will just stick with the lights.
I'm in Texas, so I feel you on the not-so-white Christmas. Under 85-ish I can usually get away with using hot glue outside if an item isn't in direct sunlight all day. Although Home Depot & Lowes sell construction grade hot glue sticks made for outdoor use. The guys who put up our Christmas lights hot glue on our brick around our garage each year and it holds up all season. Merry Christmas & much love to you, Michele! ❤️
