Season 1 he says something that always stuck with me. He said to Boone "How does it feel to take my spot as most hated. Sucks doesn't it?" which to me meant he actually did care what everyone thought about him. But he also was smart enough to know what bands people together most is having someone to mutually hate.

@@MimMdanceJosh Holloway's acting here is so underrated. He had these subtle changes in his facial expressions and looks in his eyes that spoke volumes, his use of his voice and drawl. And the way he pulled off his humorous lines! Of course it doesn't hurt that he's so easy on the eyes hahaha!
