If someone is going to make a video like this, please learn from this man. He shows everything and exactly what to do. Thank you, sir, for a job well done. I just bought one of these and found it helpful.
Great job on the tutorial, the most comprehensive one on TH-cam! I just picked up one of those trailer and mine has some differences when it comes to tow bar attachment. They also changed the order of some steps around and tell you to leave out a couple bolts during initial assembly. Thanks for calling out the stupid marker light detail! The instructions are poorly written and I did not catch that one of my side rails was swapped around.
Thank you for the tutorial! I've purchased a used one recently and started hearing about aluminum corrosion from the stainless steel bolts. I read you can add rubber flushers to prevent direct contact. Is this something to be concerned about?
I found this table on the internet. www.engineersedge.com/torque_table_sae.htm. But I could not hit the amount of torque recommended on the table. You are right the manual does not say how much to use.
@@TheBobvass I got the 72/58 3500 lb axle from the Tractor Supply Company. I had to get a conversion kit to attach the axle. I got 15 inch wheels and tires from etrailer .
@@macbethdemilo7253 I like the Aluminum frame. I do not like the wheels and Axle. I am using it to build a teardrop camper and have not driven it on the road yet. I am replacing the wheels and axle. I bought it because of the low weight.
Thank you for your service sir
I was not in the Navy. I worked for the Navy for 36 years as a government employee. I worked on many ships and Naval Bases.

I am glad it was helpful.
I need to see up close at what you ate doing only my left side light is coming on
@@benbandz165 All I can say is check your wire connections and test the light itself. The light might be bad.

I have heard that some metals will react with aluminum. I can not tell if the bolts in the kit will ever cause a reaction.
Thank you for the video! Where do the eight bolts marked SC 8.8 in separate bag go?
These are shown in the video. I can not remember the exact locations, but it is either the spring connections or the trailer hitch connector.
Great video brother. Are the bolts stainless steel?
I believe they are.
Thanks@@HistoricForrest
Did you compare to harbor freight trailer before buying? I noticed they are the same price but different names.
I compared many trailers. I chose this one because it was aluminum and weighted less. My care can only pull so much weight.
What's the torque used for the screws and nuts? The manual says nothing about it!!

I want this trailer but i see it is rated only for 45mph. Is there a way to make it go faster?
I changed the axle, wheels and tires. Now my trailer is rated at 75 MPH.
@@HistoricForrest can you provide any info on the axel, wheels , and tires you went with?

Does that trailer come with a vin number??
It comes with a VIN and a certificate of Origin.
Just a couple questions how much does the base trailer weigh, and what’s the cost also sorry to hear about your car.
187 pounds. I paid $899.99 before tax.
I'm thinking of buying one, how is the trailer? Worth buying??

@@HistoricForrest thanks for the reply, I was also thinking of building a TD on it and wasn't sure how it held up.
@@HistoricForrest with any of these bolt together frames I was going to change the wheels and axle on it
