16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
This CLEARLY makes a distinct difference between the Father and the Son as TWO persons bearing witness,,, are u saying a dude walks into court to testify, walks out the door, puts on a mustache and wig, goes back in and testifies a 2nd time??? seriously???
      it's TWO different persons!
and when Jesus says in John 10:30, ''i and my father are one''= The word ‘’are’’ in John 10:30 is ‘’esmen’’. Which means ‘’we are’’. It is a plural verb.

"If the Son (not the trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." "Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever." "For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" Jesus is God in the flesh 1Timothy 3:16. Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Jesus said, "If ye believe not that I am he, he shall shall die in your sins." "And the Word was made flesh..." 1Philipians 2:9 The name above all names. Jesus Christ is the Rock 1 Corinthians 10:4. Jesus Christ is Lord... there is no other beside him. All glory all praise must be given to the one who shed his precious blood for us. Read Isaiah 9:6. Micah 5:2 these verses talk about Jesus' deity. Deuteronomy 6:4 Deuteronomy 11, Psalm 78. "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me"-John 5:39. Ephesians 4:5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism."

Question One; ............... Who is the "HE", and the "HIM", in verse 2 , and verse 3 ....?
Question Two; ............... Who is the "HE" of verse 4 , verse 6, and verse 7......?
Question three; ............. Who is the "HIM", and "He" of verse 12....?

And when they are not trying to mischaracterize the oneness doctrine, most Trinitarians would agree. In fact, when they are not trying to mischaracterize the oneness doctrine, most Trinitarians sound oneness. But when it comes to debating with us, their views suddenly morph into something akin to tri-theism. It never fails.

We'll probably never understand it completely.
My understanding is that there are two Gods but understood as one God; each equally God, creator (created the original creations) Isaiah 45:11-12, 48:13, John 1:3, Hebrews 1:10: the Word and God.
[The Word was God means the Word was formed neither before nor after God began, as the God said 'before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me' Isaiah 43:10 with the understanding 'every word must be formed to identify the thought meant', or every word must exist after its originator, not simultaneously with its originator as did the Word for the Word was God. ]
When the Word (God) was made flesh, mortal man Jesus Christ, John 1:1, 14, the Word became no longer a true God (not a sinful or false God but not in his God material Spirit man body with a Spirit of God within him to be worshipped) John 17:3
      Was made flesh:
God prepared a body for the Word to wear Hebrews 10:5
      The Word
      'Emptied himself'
      Of
      His God
      - nature
'In all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren' Hebrews 2:17
'Tempted in all points as we are yet without sin' Hebrews 4:15
[ every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed' (with evil, James 1:13-15); without sin excludes Jesus in James 1:15) contrary to God's nature 'God cannot be tempted' (with evil; God tempts no man with evil James 1:13]
      - body
      Philippians 2:7, Romans 8:3
'Put on the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men' 'in the form of sinful flesh'
      - abilities
John 16:15 'all that the Father has is mine' John 3:34 the Spirit was given the Spirit without measure once he began speaking the words of God
      - glory John 17:5 'glorify you me with the glory I had with you before the world was'
& after his death and resurrection begotten of God 'but unto the Son he said 'Your throne o God is for ever and ever and the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity therefore God your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows' Hebrews 1:8-9
      - eternal life
John 5:26 'as the Father has life in himself so he has given the Son to have life in himself'
compare the context between John 5:24 'he that hears my word and believes on him that sent me has eternal life' - it takes both the Son and the Father, believing on both together, for a believer to have eternal life -
contrast with John 6:47 'he that believes on me has everlasting life', not having to believe on the Father as well as in John 5:24
and in between comes the Father giving Jesus Christ to have eternal life in himself
      - knowledge
      Luke 2:52, Hebrews 5:8
'Increased in wisdom and stature' 'learned he obedience by the things he suffered'
      To name a few
      -
'Put on the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men' Philippians 2:7
      During Jesus' earthly mortal life
      Jesus was
1- fulfilling the law (the first covenant: summarized by the first - the shema ('hear o Israel the LORD your God is one LORD') and 'love God' - in the law Matthew 22:36, Mark 12:29-31
      and the second
      'Love your neighbor as yourself'
2- take away the first that he might establish the second (covenant) 'love your neighbor as yourself' Matthew 19:16-19
'That all should honor (worship) the Son even as they honor (worship) the Father' John 5:23 contrary to
'You shall have no other gods before me' Exodus 20:3 the first of the Ten commandments covenant commandments
'For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgment to the Son ... and has given him authority to execute judgment also for he is the Son of man' John 5:22, 27 contrary to
'I am God Almighty' Genesis 17:1
'The Judge of all the earth' Genesis 18:25
Showing Jesus is now God alongside God; Jesus is God Almighty over mankind; the Father is God Almighty over heaven and is under Jesus' authority to the church 1st Corinthians 12:5-6 'there are differences of administrations (CEO) but the same Lord. There are differences of operations (COO) but the same God which works all in all.'
      I hope this helps.

@@leonardhunt5677 So brother are you saying Jesus Christ is GOD
or He is the SON of GOD who was made with the essence of GOD
through the divine conception in Mary. For the bible says the Angel
which spoke to Mary told her, that her son would be the SON of GOD.

    • @leonardhunt5677

@@Rosie05610 It's evident that you, as I also, weren't told the Scripture more full understanding of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
'Comparing spiritual things with spiritual', the method of study used by the Holy Spirit of God, 1st Corinthians 2:13:
'The Spirit of God shall come upon you' is comparable to 'the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon , and slew thirty men of them' or the Spirit of God coming upon Samson and giving him extra ability, extra strength.
So, when the Spirit of God came upon Mary the Spirit of God Also gave Mary extra strength 'to conceive - give birth, as 'conceive means - Jesus.
If you go before the Spirit of God came upon Mary you will find that God had prepared a body for the Word which became flesh as Jesus.
      What does this mean?
The Word was a person, a man, who 'put on the form of a servant' Philippians 2:7b which was the body God had prepared for the Word to wear, put on himself Philippians 2:7b, Hebrews 10:5.
As a doctor gives a potion or drug to help the woman's body to receive a foreign object, such as a child fetus implanted into her womb without rejecting the foreign object, as some transplants are.
The Holy Spirit of God didn't implant the Word which the Word 'put on himself' but did 'enable Mary to conceive, give birth, without her body rejecting the foreign object, the Word in the body had prepared for the Word to wear, put on himself.
'The power of the Highest shall overshadow you' shows the Highest, the Most High God, as the Father, not because as a doctor overshadows a woman to implant an organ, or a child, from outside her womb into her womb and there are lights (power?) overhead to give the doctor enough light to see, do, the surgery.
Yet few doctors doing the implant are called the father.
The Most High, the Highest, is called the Father because he gave the Word his prepared body which the Word put on and was made that flesh 'was made flesh' John 1:14, 'was made in the likeness of men' Philippians 2:7c, 'in the likeness of sinful flesh' Romans 8:3, as the first Adam had before sin , 1st Corinthians 15:45.
Just as a man puts his portion into the woman and is called the Father so the Highest, Most High, gave the Word his body to put on, wear, and is called the Father of Jesus.
I was never explained the birth of Jesus this way.
In fact most tried to explain that the Spirit of God was the Father but not the Father since the Spirit of God is a different person from the Father.
After all, the Holy Spirit of God conceived the child Jesus, as though the Spirit of God gave the Word into the womb of Mary rather than helped Mary to give birth - conceive - to the child Jesus, not gave the baby to Mary.
When understanding the definition of the word 'conceive' as 'give birth' you realize it is not the same as giving the baby.
The Holy Spirit of God enabled Mary to give birth - conceive - to the child only.

@@Rosie05610 It is written Jesus was given the name 'Son of God', Luke 1:35.
It is also written , after his death and resurrection to heaven 'Your throne o God is for ever and ever' why? 'Therefore God your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows' because of Jesus 'You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity' Hebrews 1:8, 9, 'the faithful and true witness' of Revelation 3:14.
Jesus inherited the name that is above every name - God, Hebrews 1:8 - that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father, Philippians 2:9-11. Jesus is now God of all mankind, John 5:22, not even the Son of man, Jesus, is any longer judged by the Father, as evidenced that the blood and flesh of Jesus is now the veil into the holiest of God through which the Father sees all man Hebrews 10:19-20, Hebrews 8:1-3, 9:11-14,24-26.

If Jesus is God and there is no Trinity was Jesus the only begotten of God praying to (God/Himself) or ?
Why would God often in scripture be praying to God?

God bless you! I habe had the same question! Grew up in a catholic family but by the mercy of God my eyes were opened! I have been trying to find answers on the topic for months now..
From what i understand ( and what has been explained to me) with these prayers is that is what Christ in His humanity. For example before He was handed over in His divinity He knew what needed to take place and what was going to take place. But in His humanity He knew that there would be an immense deal of pain, humiliation, and suffering. Something that I'm trying to do is differentiate between Christ in His Deity and His Humanity. I hope i was of some help in clarifying!.
But just like what our brother stated in the video, we shouldnt stay withthe doctrines of men are. Pray that He would give us discernment and understanding, and through prayer and study of scripture the answers will be revealed to us if we seek it earnestly and diligently!
      God bless you.

Morgyn Perez I appreciate your response sister. I agree we should never go with the doctrine of men and yes I agree Christ was displaying His humanity but I also believe He holds deity with God the Father. Thus I believe He was both God while also man. Our brother here doesn’t agree with the Trinity and though many may say it’s a man man ideology and that it’s roots go deep into Catholicism, I cannot help but to see the Trinity or Godhead displayed throughout scripture.
As stated before, I was once a Oneness Pentecostal but after reading God’s Word for myself (yes the KJV Bible that our brother here holds to) I cannot agree with the Oneness doctrine.
God bless you sister and continue to grow in faith and the wisdom of God’s Word.

It would be a sad thing to go off to heaven when Jesus said come to Earth and was setting up a kingdom for 1,000 years as it seems to say in the Gospels and in Revelation? This is a serious question. I hope you can help me. Who is the person of Jesus in oneness theology (by 'person' I mean that conscious voice that is in every person's mind) He would have only had one voice in His mind/one person. Was that voice/person just human? If so what do you mean He was God manifest in the flesh? I ask this of Trinitrians and they say one person and two natures and then they confuse nature as person, but deny they are doing this. From my studies I think that like Trinitrians, Oneness may have two definitions for the word God. God is person (the Father) and God is godness. The word God is being used as a noun and an adjective. In the Trinity the word God is used as a double noun and a double adjective - that's the mystery- it's a word game. All the key words in the doctrine of the Trinity have double meanings. They equivocate. Hope you can help as you come across as a fair minded person.

Thanks - I would be interested. I have done a lot of study on God/Trinity etc. I do not have a fully set position on some of the finer details so are trying to refine my understanding on key points. I am confident God is not a Trinity,. The one true God is the Father, who has a monogene Son (the Lord Jesus the Christ) and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God (not a third co-equal God person). I believe you are right that the early Christians were not Trinitarians - I have read most of the key church fathers writings in full (not just the little quotes supplied by Trinitrians) and they were definitely not Trinitrians as defined in the Orthodox traditions of Roman Catholic and Protestant versions.

At the end of the day I don't know much about Trinitarian or oneness nor do I care. I see truth in both. At the end of the day trying to figure out those kind of things in our mind is pointless. We can't figure out the Bible with our carnal minds we need revelation by the spirit to understand things. Oneness includes more than just the three manifestations being one with each other but actually as children of God, sons of God we become the fourth part of the Trinity and are actually one with God as well. Many times in scripture it says this. Jesus says that we are one with him and he and the father are one. 1st Corinthians 6:17 says whoever is United to the Lord is one spirit with him. Jesus says we are in him and he in us and he in the father. On and on. In 1st Corinthians 6:17 the Greek uses a word sune. Which means to be inseparably one with. So that means we are merged with God. Similar to if you take ink and water and mix them together. No longer can you recognize one without the other. They have become merged. That is what happens to us when we are reborn.

I will answer No. The name Jesus Christ seems to apply more for God when expressed in this God-Man form. To say Jesus is the Father is only correct in some sense. That is when we look at his divinity. But to say Jesus is the Son of God is true all the times. For that reason it is not wise to say Jesus is Father period. It is better to say Jesus is the Father expressed as a Human. In most scriptures we see Jesus as Man distinguished from God.

However, none of them believe in 3 separate spirits, but seem to use "Trinity" as a single term when describing all three. When they say "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit", it comes across to me as them listing "offices", so-to-speak, and not three separate spirits or persons. Colosians 2: 9 means Isaiah 11: 1 - 2, that means in Jesus, the living Word of God, had dwelled the Seven Spirits of God, who is the Holy Ghost Himself in fullness. When Jesus shoured "Eli, Eli lama sabakhtani?" that means He cried for the Seven Spirits of God that departed from Him that moment just before He died. By the way,, Benny Hinn is a heretic, James White is a calvinist, but I'm a trinitarian pentacostal. I speak in tongue almost every day to strenghten my faith, do you? Gbu

Ok there are also different types of oneness believers out. I am a oneness, I believe like many other that Jesus Is God in the flesh and those “ who have ears must listen” through prayer and God’s word God reveals himself through Jesus to those who seek him... God is spirit therefore no one has seen him, but in John Jesus tells his disciples whom ask to see the father, Jesus answers them “ if you seen me you have seen the father “ he also says “have I been with you all this time and yet you still don’t know who I am Phillip!” Because the spirit of God dwells in the flesh of Christ, he is our savior who forgives sin, but we don’t believe in the trinity , we believe there is ONE spirit not 3, for the word says “ the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead also dwells in you “ speaking to those have been baptized in the NAME of Jesus, Jesus is called the begotten son of God because he came from Mary, Jesus is all human and God, he came to die for us all and they only way to do so was in the form of a human body, but God can’t die correct ? Yes he cannot therefore he rose due to his Powerful sovereign Mighty Spirit.... there seems to be confusion as well in the oneness doctrine.... but this video has many good points, but he is denying Jesus as “the word who was with God and was God” dwelled among humanity..... Jesus didn’t have to say “ i am God, by seeking him in spirit we realize he is God..... the scriptures describe that God is spirit and no one has seen that Mighty spirit, the disciples cannot see physically the Spirit, but by knowing Christ they can see the spirit that is inside him, we as humans are created in the image of God.... which is what? We are made of Spirit= is our heart conscious, soul= our mind and thought process , body our flesh.

My question is this Matthew 17:5 Who spoke those words, Jesus or someone else? Surely it was not Jesus but God His Father who spoke. This is confirmed by the following words of Peter, who was one of the disciples who were with Jesus on that occasion: “For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain” (2 Peter 1:17-18

Some try to use the distinctions of Father and Son to defend the Trinity, but those distinctions were not made prior the incarnation.
Having a distinct will does not prove it, as I have heard in many debates, that would cancel the Trinity altogether. Can God have a will opposed to God? It was not sin for humanity not wanting to face Calvary, as many falsely teach. No man would want to be treated that way.
What is your position of 1 Cor 15:24-28.
    Then cometh the end...
Jesus hands over His authority to God the Father...
    Everything is under Jesus feet...
God put everything under His feet...
    Everything, excluding the Father...
Then the Son also will be put under Him, Who gave Him this authority...
So that God may be all in all?

Where in Scripture does it say God the Son? All I see is Son of God, Son of Man. God came in the flesh as the Man Christ Jesus He became a second Adam to die for the sin of the world(Read 1 Corinthians 15:45-49). He purchased the church with His own blood.(Acts 20:28) Jesus is the head of the church, we are the body of Christ. We have to understand God is Spirit(John 4:24) He is Omnipresent, He is omniscient which means He is all powerful. What makes you think He cant be in heaven on the throne and at the same time manifested in the flesh of His Son.

Enjoyed your presentation. What destroys the Trinity doctrine is new found evidence that Philo of Alexandria was the first to put the ideas of a Trinity with Old Testament scripture. The Ante-Nicene Fathers took Philo's teachings (allegorical) and applied them to the New Testament, thus giving us the Trinity doctrine of today.

This is a Revelation from God! Know thy God! This is NOT the Pentecostal view of God being called one. This is a Public Warning that Jesus is coming back soon and he is revealing who he truly is to those who have an ear to hear!
"continue in the Son, AND in the Father."
This is so important to understand! God is One Spirit. And Jesus is God because that One Spirit was in the body of Jesus in its fullness. One Spirit took on flesh. Worship the real God whos head is Jesus. No other heads. Do you understand? God is One. He is One Spirit who became one person and the name of that one person is Jesus.
1 Corinthians 12:13 King James Version (KJV)
For by ONE Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into One Spirit. 👈
One of the hardest things to do for Trinitarians is to see that Jesus is a Spirit. The Apostles, however, did understand that we were to look at Jesus as a Spirit and man as a spirit also. For we all are a spirit in a host body.
2 Corinthians 5:16 “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.”
1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Where is the mention anywhere in the Bible about the Holy Spirit being a person to worship? When we look at the apostles giving thanks we always see them giving thanks to God the father AND the Lord Jesus Christ. Never do we see any praise to the so-called by the R.C.C doctrine “the third person of the "Trinity”. That is because there is no third person.
When we recognize that the Son (Jesus) of God the Father is God the Father in the flesh because they are the same One Spirit, we can thank God the Father AND His Son while recognizing that Jesus is the Father in the flesh. The Son of God is the One Spirit Father in the body of a fleshly man who was made a little lower than the Angels.
God humbled Himself as a man to offer His own self as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Therefore, God, the Son is God the Father in the flesh and they are One Spirit. There is no third person or even a second person, God said that He is One in at least 28 verses. God is One Spirit that was also in Christ who is that Spirit in its fullness.
Colossians 2:9 “For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
The Jews Murdered Jesus because he claimed that he was equal with God, never glorifying his flesh because God is not man. God is a single Spirit. God is One. He is everywhere at once and was in heaven and on earth at the same time. Jesus always pointed out to us that he was greater than the flesh of man. God is greater than flesh. Jesus came to crucify the flesh not give it glory.
Philippians 2:6-7 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
1 John 2:23-24 "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, AND in the Father."
For those who think that the verses like the one above proves that God has three heads as the R.C.C Trinity indoctrination has taught, you are mistaken. God is One! One Spirit! Jesus is that Spirit. The same invisible Spirit that we call God the Father come in the flesh.
God fills all the earth and heaven, He is a single Spirit. He is Holy! He is the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit indwells flesh and the flesh of God (Jesus) points to himself in heaven and glorifies himself because God is Greater than flesh. Unless you look at God as One as at least 28 scriptures tell us that God is One, then you can't see God as One.
One Spirit who also has flesh and that flesh glorifies the greatness of himself in heaven! Yes, God can be two places at one time. Jesus is the exact image of the Holy Spirit who is our God. We too are spirits. That should show how special we are. Think about this, if Father is a Spirit and Jesus is a Spirit and both Spirits are the exact same One Spirit, then God is One.
The very same Jesus or Father that spoke to Adam and to all men in the O.T was Jesus before He took on flesh.
Colossians 1:15 King James Version (KJV)
"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:"
Hebrews 1:3 King James Version (KJV)
"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:"
"sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:" is referring to His own power and majesty shall put all his enemies under his feet.
This does not mean that God is two persons. It means that God who is a Spirit can live in a body of flesh and be everywhere at the same time.
The believer has the Spirit of Christ which is the Spirit of the Father & Son, they are One Spirit.
Colossians 2:9 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth All the Fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Therefore if the Fullness of the Great and All Powerful Invisible Spirit God that man has never seen is the Spirit that was in Christ, then Jesus is the Father in the flesh.
So when we give thanks to The Great and All Powerful Invisible Spirit God, we also thank Him for His Son. His Son is His flesh Jesus the Christ, who is the Father in the flesh of a man.
    Jesus said, in John 14:6-11
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, AND HAVE SEEN HIM.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."
Jesus just told us that he was the Father! The Father in a human body of flesh is the extension of himself who is One Spirit. God calls this extension of himself in flesh his Son. Jesus is God the Father in the flesh. Jesus is our all in all. When we get to heaven we will only see Jesus.
John 19:37 "And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced."
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and THEY SHALL LOOK UPON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
When God is speaking and says, "and they shall look upon ME, whom they have pierced", it's unmistakably clear that God the Father and Jesus are One Spirit.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace.
The believer has the Spirit of Christ which is the Spirit of the Father & Son, they are ONE Spirit.
    Romans 8:9-11 (KJV)
“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that 👉the Spirit of God dwell in you👈. Now if any man have not 👉the Spirit of Christ,👈 he is none of his.
And if 👉Christ be in you👈, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if 👉the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you👈, 👉he that raised up Christ from the dead👈shall also quicken your mortal bodies 👉by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”👈
    1 Timothy 1:1-2 (KJV)
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

I've noticed a few problems. Jesus didn't consider himself equal to God even if was in the form of God and had that equality. Another, is that he wasn't God was he(?) when when he was a son of man who was brought in before the Ancient of Days, AKA God. Again, was not approved until he became approved when God approved him during that day at baptism was he? Another is that Jesus said I'm ascending to your God and My God. Again and again, didn't God say he would give his name to the messiah! Won't Jesus hand the keys of the kingdom back to God Almighty. Doesn't that mean the Keys were handed to him? Is it scripturally possible that he was given "Godship" at baptism when also became KING! Now I'm not trinitarian, oneness, or unitarian because I can argue both sides of the fence round and round.

In the beginning the Word was God and with (looking toward) God John 1:1-2, and we know that no idea or plan or word looks toward, only a person would be able to look, and so the name Word may signify that he was developing languages for nations and groups such as doctors lawyers and farmers identify implements and tasks separate from the others as the word Word means a word or phrase that identifies a concept or thought or plan, and being God had the same beginning as God Isaiah 43:10 'before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me' and we know that no idea or plan or word has the same beginning as its originator.
It was the Word God who became known as Jesus the Son while God remained in heaven John 8:54.
When the Word emptied himself of his God body he also emptied himself of his God-nature, God-knowledge, God-abilities, even having eternal life in himself which is why the Father needed to give him the Spirit of God without measure John 3:34, and to give him to have life in himself John 5:26.
Because Jesus had been God the Word but had emptied himself of his God body and took upon himself a God-prepared body Hebrews 10:5 therefore not any longer a true God John 17:3 the Father was greater than him John 14:28, and the Father, not Jesus nor the angels, knew when Jesus returns to earth.

Well I actually watched this twice, as I've never heard about this debate. All I know is Jesus died for our sins as a man(God in the flesh), rose on the 3rd day, and ascended to heaven. First Peter 3:21-22 says he took His place at the right hand of the Father. I believe the Holy Spirit came down on Pentecost and filled the disciples(Acts 2:1-4), and is within us believers even today. I know that the Holy Spirit guides me, as I would go astray if left to my own desires. God the Father loves us all more than we can ever return, as we don't have the capacity of love as He does. So...that makes me what? I've never been good at labels, and I don't do denominations. I consider myself a believer in Christ, saved by His grace, and washed in His blood. Interesting video brother, I appreciate your knowledge and how calmly, and friendly you speak. God bless!

Since 1992 I have studied the Trinity/Oneness debate more than most in either movement, I dare say. I have come to the conclusion that the Oneness doctrine is really a form of Trinitarianism. That statement might shock some, but I believe it. People like Dake and Swaggart are really tritheists and most Trinitarians do not adhere to their views. Though the Oneness view does not use the word "persons" to describe the distinctives within God's being, the overall teaching fits within the tolerances of Trinitatian theology, in my opinion.

@@eflint1 I have come to the conclusion that the trinitarian view( I am of the opinion that the Roman Catholic church came up with trinitarian doctrine to make christianity more appealing to pagans who always worshiped a pantheon of gods) major flaw is that they believe that the Holy Spirit is a seperate person than the Father and Son.The Father has transfered all that He is to the Son( who was a man) including a name above every name .The Father, who is a Spirit, occupies the glorified body of his son.The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and the son, combined. That's what Jesus meant when he said," I and the Father are one".

    • @robertnieten9844

I believe, when it comes down to it, the distinctions between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are identical to the distinctions between spirit, soul and body. For God to have created man in His own image and likeness, He has to have always had a Spirit, soul, and body.We know that Abraham, and others talked to God " face to face".In the gospel according to John, the epistles, and the book of revelation, the Father is repeatedly refered to as a Spirit that" no man has seen or can see". He also, obviously, has always had a body, angelic in the Old testament and human in the New.God is a trinity as far as Spirit, soul, and body but not in persons. In Stephens defence before the sanhedrin he terminates his historical narrative by saying that," God dwelleth not in a temple made with hands". If he had continued in that vein i'm convinced that he would have said that, the temple " made without hands" is the glorified body of Jesus Christ. The Father is a Spirit, united with the sons' spirit, housed in the glorified body of Jesus seated, by Himself, on the throne of God in heaven.

Himself. Thus oneness can affirm that The Son is the I AM, because the father and the son although being distinct- in the sense that the Bible makes a distinction between God and the man we affirm that they have the same divine nature.
-We know that John8:24 and Isa42:1 in which the context would prove it was God the father that said that in Isaiah, there exist one I am and we are to believe The Son when he says he is the I am being that would also be the fathers words himself. God bless.

The strongest case that Trinitarians have is the Yeshua prays to the Father. He loves the Father and likewise, the Father loves the Son. There is communication between 2. On Earth, for 2 to love and communicate, we observe that they are always distinct individual. Examples, I see a husband loving a wife or a grandson talking to his grandma. What we really do not notice is daily inner communication within one individual. Thus, at first and second glace the trinity appears to be the best model. However, every day people are communicating with themselves moment by moment. A person lost may think in his home language, "where am I", or a child playing a video game all alone, "I hate when I lose"? Who is talking to who? That is obvious. More specifically, what is talking to what? In both these scenarios, the brain actually sends information to the "mind" or conscience which formulates the question. Then then brain sends highly technical encoded language in the form of impulse to the lips, tongue, cheeks and vocal cords which in unison speak "I hate when I lose". All of energy from this communication directed to the persons ear system which sends the message again in electrical impulses and is converted into audio. We see that communication can be within one individual. But what about love? Can my mind love my body? Does not my mind know that my body needs food to survive? In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. Eph 5:28 And so we see that a persons mind or heart can choose to nourish the body that houses and care for it. Besides the mind/soul caring for the body, we note in the scriptures that our spiritual self can encourage and thus, strengthen our mind/soul when it is down. Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Ps 43:5 And thus, if humans integral faculties, body, soul and spirit, can both communicate and love one another without being 3 separate individual person, but all faculties or different dimension of the 1 same person, how much more could the Mighty God (in whose image we are made) also communicate and love within Himself? Does not God love His neighbor as He loves Himself? And thus, if God loves Himself, it may be that like the people He made as body, soul and spirit, He may also be tripartate, but as us, literally be 1 person, not 3. What are these 3 faculties of God? Maybe 3 expressions? Maybe 3 levels? Or could it be 3 levels of revelations based on Him having to scale down His infiniteness, his omnipresence, His omnipotence to levels that won't overwhelm and disintegrate our frail nature? It may be that God in the infinite past always appeared to Himself as One, however, to communicate and love us, He scaled Himself down who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross....

Theophilus of Antioch in the year 170 writes
"In like manner also the three days which were before the luminaries, are types of the Trinity [Τριάδος], of God, and His Word, and His Wisdom And the fourth is the type of man, who needs light, that so there may be God, the Word, wisdom, man."(Aut. II.XV)
Tertulluian was not the first nor the earliest to use the term "Trinity". Jesus standing in the water(1), the Holy Spirit descending like a dove(2) on Him(1) and the Father's(3) voice overhead. Psalm 110:1 THE LORD says unto my lord sit at my right hand until I make they enemies a footstool. THE LORD
Adonai 449 Times means Deity this is never for anyone except "GOD" my lord 195 times in the bible means Non Deity. Jesus is the "my lord" of the Psalm 110:1 Acts 2:29-35 Affirms this passage. Psalm 110:1 is NOT AN ORACLE FROM GOD TO GOD, and this would be an embarrassment to say otherwise. (You now have GOD talking to himself).
1 Timothy 2:5 There is but ONE GOD and ONE Mediator between GOD and Men, the Man Jesus Christ. Jesus is Anthropos in the Greek, GOD is not a Man nor the Son of Man Numbers 23:19. Very specific. Jesus had attributes of Non Deity for he could sleep, eat, cry, suffer, worry, die. The dependence upon the Hypostatic Union and the Incarnation doctrine is post biblical and Jesus never spoke of or taught these doctrines.
Matthew 16:16-17 Jesus ask Peter who do you say that I am, Peter says You are the Christ the Messiah, Jesus says blessed are you Peter for not Flesh and Blood has revealed this you but the Living Father who is in Heaven, "Jesus" was both Flesh and Blood.
The Claim that Jesus is the ONE GOD of Israel, and therefore is GOD in a "Oneness" Doctrine belief is easily seen as a Falsehood. Exodus 3:6 The GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, "Moses hid his Face, from this ONE GOD. Acts 3:13 The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, has glorified his servant Jesus Christ.. Now Contrast this with Hebrews 5:5 if your Claim is that Jesus is the ONE TRUE GOD OF Israel.
Hebrews 5:4-5 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
Jesus is not his own Father he did not send himself he did not beget himself. Therefore, did the ONE GOD of Israel Glorify Himself or did he not Glorify himself. GOD is not Man nor the Son of MAN, he stated clearly that he would put HIS words and commands upon "HIM" Him who? Jesus Christ, and therefore you have Jesus clearly stating John 7:16 The Doctrine in which I speak is not my own but the one who sent me, if he is GOD from John 1:1 or the Incarnation then who's doctrine is he speaking. John 12:49 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.
The oneness doctrine and trinity doctrines are not spoke of, or Taught by the lord Messiah, for He know that his Father and His GOD John 20:17 is the only TRUE GOD. John 17:3 This is life eternal that they should know you the ONLY TRUE GOD and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

In Philippians 2:7 in the Greek it says Jesus emptied himself becoming a human. What did Jesus emptied Himself of and why did He constantly pray to the father. John 1:1 says that He was with God in the beginning.
    John 1:18
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
How can the son be in relationship with the father if He is the father. Makes no sense right?
1 John 2:23 says “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” (Notice “also”)
Why would scripture say if you acknowledge the Son you have the father also. Clearly Jesus is God but He is not the Father. He is one with the father but He is a separate person. God is one in being 3 in persons. This is why the oneness doctrine is very dangerous. They deny the Son. They don’t believe Jesus is actually the Son right now. You believe Jesus is not in close relationship with the father as it says in John 1:18. Just think about it How can someone be in close relationship with himself. Some Oneness believers believe William Branham was a prophet and this guy seems to have promoted several non trinitarian doctrines that probably still confuses many people today as to which version of the Oneness doctrine did he really believe. The various oneness doctrines seem as confusing and as illogical as the trinity doctrine. Simpler christologies have Jesus as an angel (based on jewish polytheism) or Jesus as a plain human. Jewish polytheism is pretty obvious in the old testament which shows the jews worshipping many gods and also the wife of El named Asherah. Archaeology has revealed many details of near eastern mythology that influenced the Jews. Zoroastrianism also influenced the jewish religion. The catholic system of praying to Mary and the saints is also a type of polytheism.

Yup, some are snake handlers too. There's one that baptize in Yaweh instead of Jesus. That's not near the majority...way less than 1%. Every group has its fringe. None are exempt. Even Atheists are not united in belief. So your point there is moot. Simpler "christologies" don't mean they are right, true or biblical in any way.
Yes, polytheism among Jews is very prevalent in the Old Testament, however, do you overlook that this was condemned by God because he told them not to do that in the first place? Apparently everyone, except Roman Catholics can see that praying to images of dead folk is polytheism and also condemned in the Bible.
The only doctrine that is true is what the early Christians believed in the New Testament, not afterwards. Not what the church fathers said or believed. The standard is what did the New Testament Christians believe? That is the crux of the matter at hand. The problem has always been that we Christians get off on what those after the NT said. I find all of it more confusing than anything the Bible says.

So basically oneness doctrine and Trinity are both correct. And while it is true that God operates in three offices. He is also three distinct manifestations of one God. Early Church Confesses Trinity:
    Justin Martyr
"We will prove that we worship him reasonably; for we have learned that he is the Son of the true God himself, that He holds a second place, and the Spirit of prophecy a third. For this they accuse us of madness, saying that we attribute to a crucified man a place second to the unchangeable and eternal God, the Creator of all things; but they are ignorant of the mystery which lies therein"
    (First Apology 13:5-6 [A.D. 151]).
Polycarp (70-155/160). Bishop of Smyrna. Disciple of John the Apostle.
"O Lord God almighty . . . I bless you and glorify you through the eternal and heavenly high priest Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, through whom be glory to you, with Him and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever" (n. 14, ed. Funk; PG 5.1040).
Justin Martyr (100?-165?). He was a Christian apologist and martyr.
"For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water" (First Apol., LXI).
Ignatius of Antioch (died 98/117). Bishop of Antioch.
"In Christ Jesus our Lord, by whom and with whom be glory and power to the Father with the Holy Spirit for ever" (n. 7; PG 5.988).
Irenaeus (115-190). As a boy he listened to Polycarp, the disciple of John.
"The Church, though dispersed throughout the whole world, even to the ends of the earth, has received from the apostles and their disciples this faith: . . . one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them; and in one Christ Jesus, the Son of God, who became incarnate for our salvation; and in the Holy Spirit, who proclaimed through the prophets the dispensations of God, and the advents, and the birth from a virgin, and the passion, and the resurrection from the dead, and the ascension into heaven in the flesh of the beloved Christ Jesus, our Lord, and His manifestation from heaven in the glory of the Father ‘to gather all things in one,' and to raise up anew all flesh of the whole human race, in order that to Christ Jesus, our Lord, and God, and Savior, and King, according to the will of the invisible Father, ‘every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess; to him, and that He should execute just judgment towards all . . . '" (Against Heresies X.l)
Tertullian (160-215). African apologist and theologian.
"We define that there are two, the Father and the Son, and three with the Holy Spirit, and this number is made by the pattern of salvation . . . [which] brings about unity in trinity, interrelating the three, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are three, not in dignity, but in degree, not in substance but in form, not in power but in kind. They are of one substance and power, because there is one God from whom these degrees, forms and kinds devolve in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit." (Adv. Prax. 23; PL 2.156-7).
    Origen (185-254). Alexandrian theologian.
"If anyone would say that the Word of God or the Wisdom of God had a beginning, let him beware lest he direct his impiety rather against the unbegotten Father, since he denies that he was always Father, and that he has always begotten the Word, and that he always had wisdom in all previous times or ages or whatever can be imagined in priority . . . There can be no more ancient title of almighty God than that of Father, and it is through the Son that he is Father" (De Princ. 1.2.; PG 11.132).
"For if [the Holy Spirit were not eternally as He is, and had received knowledge at some time and then became the Holy Spirit] this were the case, the Holy Spirit would never be reckoned in the unity of the Trinity, i.e., along with the unchangeable Father and His Son, unless He had always been the Holy Spirit." (Alexander Roberts and James Donaldson, eds., The Ante-Nicene Fathers, Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1975 rpt., Vol. 4, p. 253, de Principiis, 1.111.4)
"Moreover, nothing in the Trinity can be called greater or less, since the fountain of divinity alone contains all things by His word and reason, and by the Spirit of His mouth sanctifies all things which are worthy of sanctification . . . " (Roberts and Donaldson, Ante-Nicene Fathers, Vol. 4, p. 255, de Principii., I. iii. 7).

Oneness was not the initial view going by church history. Not at all. Trinity is a word to describe in the simplest way what the bible clearly reveals. Just as canon isn't in the bible, we say canon to refer to the whole books of the bible. Just as the complete canon of scripture is not mentioned in the bible in a clear index -- obviously I don't mean the table of contents printed at the beginning, but in the books themselves-- , we can still say there is a canon of scripture. In other words, you are looking for words we would use to describe and understand theological concepts in the text itself, which is obviously ridiculous. If someone said that the theme of a novel was nihilism, you wouldn't dismiss that because the author didn't say that the theme was nihilism at the beginning of every chapter, would you? You would read into the text and see the consistency and what the words themselves reveal to be the bigger picture. How do you know what the whole word of God is by using scripture? You don't. Trinitarian Orthodox Catholics decided what was canon and what was gnostic nonsense. This is a very flawed logic, but your bible editions are still great hahaha

Exactly, so i wonder how trinitarians explain this verse? how can they believe in another person of the trinity who is "the father" but yet do not know him at all? of course they will say the know him through Jesus but then for all intent and purposes that makes Jesus the Father lol, if not, then they cant say they truly know the father only the son

Good presentation, but it would be good if you could look into the name of 'Jehovah', as it's a completely erroneous rendering.

I’ve done videos on that. Jehovah is correct Yahweh seems to be incorrect.

I believe in 1 God, but the bibe says Father,Son and Holy Spirit! I asked God to forgive me of my sins in Jesus name and then the holy spirt came too live in my heart! But Jesus said I must go , so the holy spirit can come, so twist it how you want it, we still have Father, Son and Holy Spirit, 3 in 1!

      New Life Of Albany Ga.
his deity is contingent on him being the only begotten Son. Oneness theology denies the deity of the Son because the Son is only the humanity. The son is not eternal nor creator: only Jesus the Father is
