    You did an excellent job explaining this Brother. I used to be a trinitarian but God opened my eyes to the truth and I’m glad He did.🙌🏽🔥

    Why do trinitarians insist the apostles and all early church fathers believed in a trinity? Do they have any evidence or is it just nonsense? In my opinion if the apostles and early church were onness that is a death blow to the trinity argument.

    We baptize in Jesus Name not Father, Son, Holy Ghost those are titles. None of the Apostles baptized in Father Son Holy Ghost they all baptized calling out the name of Jesus.

    Anyone who was good at math in high school would have a hard time believing the trinity. It just doesn't add up you can actually do the math on your fingers if you want to.

    It's vicious out here even when you say "No" I believe the trinity "Could" be wrong. All of a sudden "I might be falling away from the faith" "I was never a Christian". Good thing I'm seasoned and read to them Romans 2:29. Good video Steve

    In trinitarian doctrine you have three persons in one nature, with Jesus being an exception, being two natures by himself. You have the two natures of Jesus then being one person. Instead of God being in Jesus(John 14:10, Acts 10:38) like the Bible says, trinitarians say that Jesus - being God, was in himself. That would mean that Jesus not only had two natures, but two wills also(Luke 22:42). Rather than not being able to understand who God is, the Bible teaches that the "Jews know who they worship" - One God(YHWH), who is a spirit.

    Well let me tell you my story and my experience. For most of my life I thought I was a trinitarian, because I didn't understand what the definition really was. I didn't know that they think the Father, Son and spirit are three different people! From the first time I read the entire Bible I always realized that Jesus was the Father because of verses like John 14:8-9. I thought when they said trinity they were just referring to the three ways that God has revealed himself to us. In the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I had no idea they actually thought that it was 3 completely separate beings. Anyone who thinks this has obviously never even read the bible in my opinion and if they did, they didn't understand it.

    The trinity doctrine probably first became the standard belief after the roman empire enforced it on everyone.

    This is one of my favorite verses on that. Luke 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. Trinitarians don't think that God would be reveal Himself by different roles. But yet they admit that Jesus is a Prophet, Priest, and King, and also the lamb of God.

      Hargis Pennington, acknowledging roles and titles doesn't negate nor dismiss the individuality nor the being of another person; no more than a person being a father, a husband, a brother, a nephew, etc., yet another man can have those same titles and roles.
      When the apostles speak the name of Jesus (as in Acts 2:38) they do so with acknowledgement of the Triune Godhead. And to be baptized in Jesus’ name doesn’t necessarily mean there is only one correct baptismal formula since the singular “name” is used instead of “names” in the plural. Afterall, a singular name can apply to two or more, as in the example of Genesis 5:2, 11:4. Also, if only one name is meant, it doesn’t necessarily need to be Jesus, it could be “Lord,” which is the New Testament (NT) equal of the name Yahweh in the Old Testament (OT). Such as the following Scriptural verse:
      Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
      Granted, salvation is through Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6), however, it does not mean that Jesus alone is God. The name which is above every name (in Philippians 2:9-11) is not only Jesus, but the additional name given, “Lord” (see examples Acts 2:36; Romans 10:9; 1 Cor. 12:3, 2; 2 Cor. 4:5). Keeping in mind that “Lord” kurios is the NT equivalent of “Yahweh” or “Jehovah” the name of God in the OT (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13).
      And as for Oneness theology, keep in mind that the Father and the Son are presented in Scripture as two Persons in the Godhead who are two self-ware subjects. And the evidence for them being two persons is obvious. Consider John 5:31-32; 8:16-18. When Jesus said “. . .there is another who bears witness of me. . .” the word “another” is allos. Allos is used to mean someone “different from the subject who is speaking.”

    • @hargisP2
      @hargisP2 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      4UCarla the word “and” in the salutations in the epistles such as Grace from God theFather and our Lord Jesus Christ doesn’t mean it’s about two different persons. The Greek word kai can be translated.....and, even, that is. I had a road to Damascus experience. There was only Jesus, one person that spoke to me. Thousands of verses use the singular pronoun when speaking of God.

    • @4ucarla885
      @4ucarla885 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hargisP2, yes “and” kai can be used cumulatively to describe the total amount of something when it is added together. However, the word “and” is also a conjunction that connects words, phrases, sentences and clauses that are separate. Had Apostle Paul (assuming you are pointing to 2 Cor. 13:14) meant one singular individual of the Godhead-Jesus Christ--it would have been redundant to add God the Father and the Holy Ghost, but Apostle Paul points to the Trinity. 2 Cor. 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”
      Now if you would be so kind as to address and explain the following:
      God has shown Himself to be one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons in the Godhead.
      Let’s have a look at Stephen. If you have time, read Acts chapters 6 & 7. When reading chapter 7 verses 55-60, how would you explain or reconcile what Stephen is seeing?
      And when reading Revelation 5:1-7, please explain the taking of the scroll from one person unless there are two Persons involved in the exchange.
      The entire book of Hebrews expressly points to the Triune God, but for the sake of time and longevity I will point to certain scripture passages. Hebrews 10:11-15 “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us. . .”
      NOTE: All three of the Godhead is viewed as separate and distinct, yet God.
      Let’s also look at Hebrews chapter 12 with special attention on verses 2, “2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
      And verses 22-25
      “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
      25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:”
      The book of Hebrews shows clearly who is in heaven. It basically itemizes “. . .the general assembly. . . God the Judge of all. . . and to Jesus the mediator. . .
      God, the Judge of all is pointing to the Father, the first Person in the Godhead, and to Jesus, the second in the Godhead. Two DISTINCT Persons. Do you not know that a "Mediator" is a person involved in a conflict between people has the obligation to bring those two people in conflict into an agreement with one another? Jesus is that Mediator (Atonement/Intercessor/High Priest/Testator) between God the Father and mankind. That requires Jesus to be a distinct Person to be a go-between for us to God the Father; Jesus is doing his service as our High Priest. Thus, both are ONE God (One in purpose, wisdom, power, glory, etc.), but distinct and separate. Consider this, if Jesus is also God the Father, then by Jesus' death we would not inherit anything because the Father would also be dead, thus there would be no inheritance. Heb. 9:12-16 points to Jesus as a "High Priest" and "Testator." Jesus' death made us joint-heirs with Him therefore we inherit all that Jesus inherits from the Father. The entire basis of salvation through Jesus the Son is predicated on doing the will of the Father--to make peace between mankind and God the Father. If both are the same, then there is no Mediator.
      1 Cor. 15:28 “And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” (KJV)

    People believe in the trinity because they were taught by their uninformed clergymen that three Gods make up the same "one God." As the trinity doctrine says: "The Father is God, the Son is God, and the holy spirit is God. And yet, they are not three Gods, but one God." The "one God" of the Bible is Jesus' Father. As Jesus said to Mary: "I am ascending to MY Father and YOUR Father and to MY God and YOUR God." (John 20:17) 1 Cor. 8:6a adds: "But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live."

      What's most interesting is how people will fight tooth and nail to uphold the belief - which tells me that there is more at play here than tradition.
      My take on this is that the trinity caters to those who do not want the truth.

      @@SmalltimR Very true. As Jesus said: "If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32) Jesus said nothing about a triune deity. As you said, those who believe in a mythical trinity don't want the truth

    Appreciate Rev. Waldron's historical scholarship.
    Also, Heb. 1:1-3 "God, ... Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, ... the express image of his person,..." is an underrepresented selection of scripture in the oneness truth argument. According to this scripture, the omni (-scient, -potent, -present) Spirit of God is/has person (singular) quality to him, albeit at an eternal, invisible, spirit level. Jesus is then the "express image" of God's singular person manifest into time and physicality.
    "...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father..." Jn. 14:9, "I and my father are one" Jn. 10:30, "He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me." Jn. 12:44, "...he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." IJn. 2:23, "I am come in my Father's name,..." Jn. 5:43., "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Col. 2:9. etc. etc. etc.

    Hmm ex Muslim here. I was an atheist before joining Islam. Currently I'm an atheist. Now after watching this it makes some sense to me. The Quran says I'm not in 3 but one. Now the Bible too never claimed Trinity. I'm so confused right now.Christianity is a very nice religion without the Trinity. But it's hard to believe in Jesus as a God.The Quran says that He created Adam in his own image which is kinda confusing to me🧐🤔

      Hebrews 1:8 {the Father calls Jesus God}
      But unto the Son he {God } saith,
      Thy throne, O God {Theos}, is, forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.
      The Holy Spirit applies this to Jesus in (Hebrews) and to The Father in (Psalm 45:6).
      Psalm 45:6
      Your throne, O God, will last,
      forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
      Deuteronomy 6:13-14 {Holy Spirit said worship only God.}
      "You shall fear only the LORD your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name. “You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you,

      And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.
      Hebrews 1:6 {the Father tells the angels to worship Jesus}
      And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world he {God} saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
      Daniel 7:13-14, (The Father decrees all will worship him)
      In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.”
      Matthew 28:17 {Apostles worship Jesus} Luke 24:52

    People were murdered by Constantine to spread the Trinity doctrine, which came from Babylon. Anyone who disagreed was murdered who didn't worship this made-up God. Sound familiar? Read Revelation, people. The Bible tells us relentlessly to worship Father Yehvah and have no other gods before him. Yeshua called his father Yehvah the only true God! Paul said we have one God, and that is the father! When Yehvah opened my eyes to this, I had to repent of my sinful trinitarian worship in the name of his son Yeshua! Yeshua now mediates between me and his father! Repent, people.

    People believe in the Tri-Unity of the Godhead, because it is BIBLICAL DOCTRINE !!
    You find it in Gen.1:26, where the several persons of the Godhead are discussing the making of mankind !!
    This discussion could not ever be with the angels, as angels cannot create Anything !! As they themselves are "Created beings !!
    Also In the he "She`ma", of Deut.6:4, which literally translated from Hebrew reads; ... "Hear oh Israel, YHWH our Gods, YHWH is UNIFIED". ( Heb. "she`ma Yisrael , YHWH Elohanoo, YHWH Echad" )
    Also In Isa.46:5, which reads as follows; ....."To whom will ye liken ME," ( God the Father ) "and make ME equal",
    ( God, the Word, that was made Flesh ) "and compare ME," ( God the Holy Spirit ) "That WE MAY BE LIKE ? " ( All THREE PERSONS of the Godhead, spoken of in Plurality !! )
    In Jn.5:36-37, ...."But I have GREATER WITNESS than that of John: for The WORKS WICH THE FATHER HATH GIVEN ME to finish, the SAME WORKS THAT I DO, BEAR WITNESS of me, that THE FATHER Hath Sent me".
    37 "And THE FATHER HIMSELF, which Hath SENT ME , hath BORNE WITNESS OF ME. Ye have neither HEARD HIS VOICE at any time, NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE."
    Yet these PHARISEES that JESUS was TALKING TO, were HEARING the Voice of JESUS, and SEEING the Shape of JESUS, PROVING that THE FATHER that JESUS Was Referring to, was ENTIRELY a Different and Separate Person of DEITY , that was JESUS CHRIST !!!
    How STUPID and DECEIVED CAN YOU PEOPLE BE ???
    In 1.Jn.5:7, ....."For there are THREE that BEAR RECORD in heaven", ( the words; "to Bear Record" in Greek, means to "Carry a Testimony" ) "the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
    The words;...." these THREE are ONE", is clarified in Mark 12:29, where JESUS answers the question of one of the scribes, and quotes the "She`ma" of Deut.6:4, as presented in the Greek of Mark 12:29, in which JESUS declares that "GOD is UNIFIED" ( the Greek wording being; "ho theos hEmOn kurios HEIS estin. ) The Greek word "HEIS" meaning "UNIFIED" and "INCORRECTLY" translated into English as the "Numerical" word "ONE".
    Rev.4:9-11, ...."And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to HIM THAT SAT ON THE THRONE, who liveth for ever and ever,
    " ( God The FATHER )
    10 "The four and twenty elders fall down BEFORE HIM that SAT ON THE THRONE , and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,"
    11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive Glory and Honour and power: for THOU HAS CREATED ALL THINGS, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
    So here we see the DEITY GOD, ( the FATHER ) Sitting on a THRONE, and being WORSHIPED as the CREATOR of ALL THINGS !!!
    Then in Rev.5:6-10 we see another scenario taking place in front of the Same THRONE, on which the Deity GOD is Sitting, and the Same "FOUR LIVING CREATURES" ( the "First Order" of the FIRSTFRUITS ) and the Same "24 ELDERS" (the "Second Order" of the FIRSTFRUITS )
    worship a SECOND PERSON of DEITY, called the LAMB, ( who came and "took the little book
    out of the Hand" of HIM ) the First Deity, that SITS on the THRONE !!!
    And these "FOUR LIVING CREATURES", and these "24 ELDERS" "fall down" before this SECOND DEITY called the LAMB, and worship HIM as the REDEEMER Of MANKIND !!! ( this is the LORD JESUS CHRIST !! ) And clearly professes Two SEPARATE Persons of DEITY !! How can you APOSTOLICS be so BLIND !!!

      @@carlgrant6109 , it has been over 55 years since I investigated this . But here's what I think I remember,
      as my parents were Norwegian, ( A.G. Affiliated ) Missionaries to southern Africa !! My Mother having been saved and baptized in the Holy Ghost, in 1927.
      The Holiness movement began with a series of Methodist revivals that occurred in 1867. As in the Eighteenth century, John Wesley ( 1703 to 1791 ) who was Educated in the Correct "Armenian Theology" ( and not the FRAUD Called CALVINISM ) had first introduced the Biblical Doctrine that Salvation included two "Works of Grace", or "blessings", also spoken of as Two religious experiences.
      That of "Salvation", as a Result of Repentance and acceptance of Christ's Sacrifice on Calvary. And that of "Sanctification", which is an inward "Spiritual Enduement" of Power, that was promised by Christ, after being obedient to "Water Baptism", and the Keeping of the Biblical "Dietary Law", of Both the Old and the New Testaments.
      Modern Pentecostalism began in January of 1901, and was subsequently experienced when Agnes Ozman, a student at Charles F. Parham's Bethel Bible School in Topeka, Kansas, spoke in tongues. ( actually, the story is that she spoke in "Chinese", and did not speak English again for several days ).
      Then in 1903, an African American AME preacher by the Name William Seymore, was put in touch with Charles Parham, in Topeka, Kansas, and was given biblical instruction on the holy Spirit.
      Then in 1906, William Seymore had started a AME Church at 312 Azusa street, Los Angeles, California, which in the Spring of 1906 experienced the Pentecostal Revival.
      And in 1907 the Norwegian Baptist preacher, T.B. BARRAT traveled to Los Angeles, and promptly received the Holy Spirit baptism, and came back to Norway, and started the PHILADELPHIA Pentecostal Church, in Oslo , Norway. And Also pastor Oscar Halvorsen started the Norwegian Assembly of Evangeliesalen, in Oslo.
      Then in the Fall of 1908, the "Church of the Nazarene" was Formed, as a broader ensemble of the accepted "Pentecostalism" of the day.
      So in 1913 and 1914, there erupted disagreements on The TRI-UNITY of the Godhead, as well as that of Water Baptism "in the Name", as Erroneously speculated by the "Unlearned" lay preachers, who did not understand that the GREEK Text referred to, "On the Authority of ", rather than "In the Name of", as concerning water baptism.
      Also in 1913, at a Pentecostal camp meeting in California, one of the participants, a Jew by the name John G. Scheppe, claimed to have experienced the power of the name of Jesus. Many accepted his "Revelation", and they found support for their belief in “Jesus Only” baptism in John 3:5 and Acts 2:38.
      As the revival rapidly spread, many Pentecostals recognized the need for greater organization and accountability. So on April 2-12, 1914, the founding fathers of the Assemblies of God, met in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to promote unity and doctrinal stability, and to establish legal standing, coordinate the mission enterprise, and establish a ministerial training school.
      These founders constituted the first General Council and elected two officers: Eudorus N. Bell, as chairman,
      ( the title later changed to general superintendent ) and J. Roswell Flower, as secretary, as well as the first executive presbytery.
      The approximately 300 delegates to the first General Council represented a variety of independent churches and networks of churches, including the “Association of Christian Assemblies” in Indiana and the “Church of God in Christ", and in Unity with the Apostolic Faith Movement” from Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas.
      Almost immediately, leaders were faced with a doctrinal dispute - whether to abandon traditional Trinitarian theology in favor of a modalism, or "Manichean" view of the Godhead ( also called the “New Issue” or Oneness theology ).
      So in 1916, the General Council approved a Statement of Fundamental Truths, which affirmed the Trinitarian orthodoxy. And almost immediately 156 ministers of the recently formed Assemblies of God denomination "Split" from the church over conflicting views on the "Oneness" of God, and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. ( which FALSE "oneness" Teaching was first introduced by the Iraqi Born, Iranian philosopher, "MANI", in the Third century ) and is generally referred to as "Manicheaism" )
      In 1924, these "Oneness" belief leaders who withdrew, formed an organization called the Pentecostal Church Incorporated. Later, in 1945, the UPCI was formed by the merger of the Pentecostal Church and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ.
      Prominent "United Pentecostal Church" ( UPC ) founders at that time, included Robert E. McAlister, Harry Branding, and Oliver F. Fauss.
      Current notable leaders are the "pseudo scholar", David K. Bernard, ( who is General Superintendent; )
      Stan Gleason, who is Assistant General Superintendent; and Paul Mooney, who is also Assistant General Superintendent.
      So that is How this Hodge-Podge "Oneness" Heresy was created, in total disregard to the Scriptural Facts, that Clearly testifies to a TRI-UNITY of the Godhead !!
      Such "Basic Facts" as seen in Gen.1:26, which declares; ...."let US" make Man, in "OUR Image", and "OUR Likeness", .....which proves the "plurality of Persons of DEITY" conversing with each other, about "Creating Mankind" !! ( as such conversation, could Never have been held with the Angels , Cherubim , or Seraphim !!
      As Angels themselves are Created beings, and are Unable to Create ANYTHING on their own !!
      Lastly, the Proof the Plurality of persons of DEITY, as seen in the GREEK Wording of Jn.17:5, which reads TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the KJV English Text, ...... is clear EVIDENCE to the FRAUD of the "ONENESS" Heresy !!
      Here's the Fraudulent reading of John 17:5 in the English KJV Bible; ..."And now, O Father, glorify thou me with THINE OWN SELF with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."
      -----------------------------------
      The Greek text of John.17:5 , ....."kai nun doxason me su pater para seautO
      The Literal English wording; ......."And now esteemize Me You FATHER BESIDE YOURself
      tE doxE hE eichon pro tou ton kosmon einai para soi"
      to-THE Esteem Which I-had Before of-the the World-system to-be BESIDE YOU"
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      So it is clear from the AUTHORITY of the Greek text, which SUPERCEDES ANY English Translation, that JESUS Himself, declares in this Prayer to GOD the FATHER, that He, Jesus, was a SEPARATE person of DEITY "BESIDE" the Father, who had "ESTEEM BESIDE YOUR-self", and "BESIDE YOU" ( the FATHER )
      And the KJV ENGLISH Translation TOTALLY Misrepresents the TRUTH, by translating these Greek Text words; "BESIDE YOUR-self" and "BESIDE YOU", into the ERRONEOUS reading of "Thine own Self", in the KJV English Bible.
      THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING !!! And it then becomes necessary to read all other verses concerning the GODHEAD, in the Light of this REVEALING PASSAGE of Jn.17:5 in the Greek Text !!
      Which then makes Jesus's words in Jn.5:37, to the Pharisees in which Jesus declared; ..."And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye HAVE NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME , NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE. "
      Which expresses TWO Separate Persons of DEITY, One which the Pharisees were "Seeing and Hearing", ......the Other, which they had "Never Seen", or who's "Voice" they had "Never Heard" !!!
      Every Bible reading "Fifth grader" in the U.S. of America, will tell You, ( and the "pseudo scholars" of the ONENESS Cult )..... that it is "Grammatical IGNORANCE" and a Total Travesty, to profess that this verse Only represents a Singular person of DEITY !!
      Next; the passage of Mark.12:29, which refers to the Hebrew "She'ma", likewise DOES clearly Represent a "UNIFIED GODHEAD" of several persons of DEITY !!
      As the GREEK word "HEIS" that is translated "ONE", in the English KJV, means "UNITED" in the GREEK language !! Which in itself is proof that there are Several persons of DEITY, in the Godhead.

    The doctrine of the trinity explained and defended
    The biblical bases for this post is here
    I would like to give a presentation on the doctrine of the Trinity. I have written about the triune God of the Bible before; but I want to teach about it again. The Trinity is the heart of the Christian faith, it asserts that God is both person and being. God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Christians do not believe God is three beings, nor do we believe God is one person who manifests himself in three ways. We rather believe that God exists in three personal ways and is in an eternal relationship in this manner. The doctrine of the Trinity in essence is that in the one, eternal God, there are three Persons (ie personal relationships within God), the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
    The trinity is comprised of many smaller doctrines. The first of these is monotheism: an affirmation of the existence of only one God. Many critics of the trinity claim that the doctrine teaches that there are three gods. This is not true, the bases of Trinitarian theology is monotheism (Deut. 6:4, Isa. 44:8, I Cor 8:6, Jam. 2:19). Anyone who claims that the three Persons of the godhead are three separate gods is not a Trinitarian and is classified as a heretic . By definition, the trinity is monotheism. We, however, distinguish ourselves from Unitarian monotheism (one Person deity) ie Islam, Judaism, by speaking of God in two categories; Person and being. We believe God is one being (divine nature) shared by three Persons.
    The next part of the Trinity is the three Persons in the godhead. By “Persons “ we do not mean Persons like human beings, nor persons as in three bodies. Rather, we mean that God exists in three personal ways and distinctions within himself. These relationships are intrinsic to the being of God; God is not three in his relationship with man, (modalism) he is three eternal relationships within himself. The Father is not the Son or the Spirit, the Son is not the Father or the Spirit, and the Spirit is not the Father or the Son. When we say “The Father/Son/Holy Spirit is God” we do not mean that said Person is the totality of the divine being. Rather, “the Father is God” means “the Father HAS (not is) a divine nature “ The Father is the first person of the Trinity. This means that he is the head of the Trinity: because he is not begotten nor does he proceed from anybody. The Father eternally begets the Son and proceeds the Spirit. The Son is eternally begotten/generated (I prefer “begotten “ because it’s credal language and “eternal generation “ is confusing and contradictory in terminology, although I have occasionally written about eternal generation in the past). The Son is eternally begotten by an eternal generation by the Father, this means that the Father communicates the divine nature to the Son; yet this is done in such a way that the divine nature is not divided nor watered down . The Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son.
    The three Persons are co-eternal with each other and are co-equal and consubstantial in nature. This means that no Person in the Trinity is superior to the others in the one divine nature . While the Father is superior to the Son and the Holy Spirit in role, they are equal with him in nature. The Persons equally share in the divine nature; each is fully God. Also, the three Persons are co-eternal together with each other. They have always existed in this relationship; the Son and the Spirit were not creations by the Father (Arianism). The Father is the eternal Father to the Eternal Son, the Son is the eternally begotten Son of the Father, and the Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from both the Father and the Son (fillique).
    The trinity is sometimes misunderstood by various groups. Muslims claim that the trinity is tritheism-three gods. This is false, the trinity is pure monotheism. Yet others think that the trinity is one God who is one Person; who manifests himself in three ways- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is incorrect because it denies the distinctions between the Persons. One last view of the trinity that is error is that each Person is 1/3rd of the divine being: this is an error because no Person of the godhead would be fully God in this view. The correct understanding of the trinity is that God is one being, but within God there are three eternal distinctions and relationships: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost-who are not each other.
    The Trinity is a very biblical doctrine. You can’t make sense of the Bible’s statements about God without the Holy Trinity. Without the Trinity, the Bible is a deceptive book because if the Trinity is false then the Bible is misleading us about the nature of God. It is the most important doctrine of Christianity. The trinity is the first and most basic important dogma of the Christian Faith. It is not to be questioned; because it is the cornerstone doctrine of Christian faith.. It is as important to the Christian faith as the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus -. It is to be articulated in accordance with the creeds of the church. Even if it’s incomprehensible, it is still to be believed wholly and unquestionably. If the trinity is not true, then in my opinion, Christianity as a whole is not true. But the trinity is true, and this is the God we worship and serve.

      You could just use scripture.
      Galatians 1:1 {Father raised Jesus from dead}
      Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;

      John 2:19-21 {Jesus raised himself from dead}
      Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
      They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
      Matthew 26:61
      and declared, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”
      Romans 8:11 {Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead}
      But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
      raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
      Acts 3:26 {God raised Son from the dead}
      Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in
      turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
      Thessalonians 1:10
      And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
      Hebrews 13:20
      Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that
      great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
      Romans 10:9
      That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
      ==============================================================
      II Corinthians 6:16 {The Father God dwells in us}
      And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God.
      Romans 8:9, 10 {Christ dwells in us}
      .....Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
      I Corinthians 6:19 {Holy Ghost dwells in us}
      What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

      Matthew 10:19,20 { The Father speaks thru us }
      But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
      For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you
      Luke 21:14, 15 {Christ speaks thru us}
      Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer
      For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
      Luke 12:11, 12 {Holy Ghost speaks thru us} Mark 13:11
      And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
      For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. For it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
      Who is ?
      The First and the Last?
      The Alpha and the Omega?
      The beginning and the end?
      The Creator of all,
      The only savoir of mankind,
      The Who gives us eternal life,
      The one who has always existed,
      The one who Is Omnipresence,
      The one who Is Omniscience,
      The one who Is Omnipotence,
      The one who Raised Jesus from the dead,
      The one who sent the comforter
      The one who Dwells in all believers,
      The one who is our Shepherd,
      The one who will Speaks thru us,
      The one who can forgive sins,
      The only one who can be prayed to?
      The only one who can be worshiped?
      The only one who is sinless?
      The one who was pierced for us
      The one who died for us?
      If you respond The Father I will prove it is the Son
      If you respond the Son I will prove it is the Father

      You say "God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." So, let's look at the scriptures you mentioned and see if any of them say or imply that God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
      1. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." (Deut. 6:4)
      Does this verse say or imply that "God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"? Answer: NOT EVEN CLOSE! BTW, in the OT, the word "Lord" in Hebrew comes from one of two words, which are "adonai" and "adoni." To briefly illustrate the lie that the Father, Son, and holy spirit don't make up the same "Lord," I invite you to read Ps. 110:1, which says: "The LORD [Heb. 'adonai'] said unto my Lord [Heb. 'adoni'], 'Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.'" Did you notice two Lords in this verse. Jehovah or Yahweh is the first Lord and that Jesus is the second Lord. So, according to Scripture, Jehovah is one Lord and that Jesus is another Lord. They are not the same "one Lord." Oh, and there is no scripture in the Bible that says the word "Lord" applies to the Father, Son, and holy spirit _AS A GROUP of persons.
      2. "Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any." (Isa. 44:8)
      Does this verse say or imply that "God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"? Answer: NOT EVEN CLOSE!
      3. "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."
      Does this verse say or imply that "God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"? Answer: NOT EVEN CLOSE! BTW, in this verse, it say the Father, not a trinity of persons is the "one God." This is a far cry from the trinity doctrine which says "[the Father, Son, and holy spirit] are one God." Also, at 1 Cor. 8:6, it says the Son, not a trinity of persons, is the "one Lord." This is a far cry from the trinity doctrine, which says: "[The Father, Son, and holy spirit] are one Lord."
      4. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." (Jas. 2:19)
      Does this verse say or imply that "God is one being, shared by three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit"? Answer: NOT EVEN CLOSE!
      So, don't you find it odd to say that "the Trinity is a very biblical doctrine," yet, you didn't provide a single shred of Biblical evidence to substantiate your claim? Are you even sure what the trinity doctrine actually says and whether it agrees with what the Bible says about who God is?

    Thanks! I was raised believing in the trinity growing up but ended up not believing anything, LOL. But two years ago God himself opened my eyes and it appears there are all kinds of false teachings out there. Thanks for taking your time to clarify.
    I do have one question concerning this verse: 1 John 4 King James Version (KJV)
    4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
    2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
    3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
    Do people who preach the trinity and that Jesus is God fall under these verses? I'm struggling with this.

      Jeremy Hayes Jeremy, people that believe in a false trinity believe that Jesus the Son was beside God the Father in the beginning of time.
      They imagine the “Word” is code for “Son”
      They have constructed a false doctrine and twist the words of God to their own destruction.
      We know that scripture teaches God is “A” Spirit
      And the Son of God was begotten “born”
      Was God born? Was A God born? NO.
      The Son Of God “flesh” was not God. He was a man. The Spirit of the ONE true God the Father was inside of his Son and he put his words in the Sons mouth as he said he would in the Old Testament scriptures.
      Jesus Christ came in the flesh because he is the Word Of God.
      When God laid the foundation of the earth the scriptures teach the Son was already slain before that. Was he slain twice ? Of course not the Word (Bible) was already written and with God.
      Jesus was foreordained
      God isn’t “working” things out along the way it’s already done.
      The scripture teaches if you have eyes to see and heard to hear you’ll understand but not every one is called to hear

      The Son in the flesh was begotten, a human being. A sacrifice. To die. God doesn’t die. God is a Spirit. The Son was the temple for God to dwell in and do the works. Duet. 18:15-+
      The Son in the flesh was not God but now all power is given to him in the glorified body. The Bible says all fullness now dwells in Jesus Christ. But the Son didn’t do the works nor did he speak the Words because God was manifest in the flesh through his Son the prophet he said he would raise up. Candersson Swedican dear confused person,
      Your statement is wrong.
      Your very confused so you left an “example” in the form of a question.
      So I’ll be generous and answer your question.
      Your question is who raised Jesus the Son of God from the dead?
      God the Father raised his begotten Son from the dead.
      Now the fullness of God dwells in his Son BODILY.
      The scriptures teach that God is “A” Spirit (invisible)
      But from the foundation of the earth he had a body;in his WORD.
      The WORD is not code for the Son. The Son was begotten flesh of a woman from the seed of David the tribe of Judah.
      He came in his Fathers name.
      So we know God’s name is Jesus Christ and that if you have seen Jesus you have seen the Father.
      Because God manifested himself through his Son and without his Son you wouldn’t be able to look at God.
      You will probably have trouble comprehending the truth because as the scripture teaches if you are not called of him you cannot come to him.
      You need to be born of the WORD OF GOD or you’ll never understand.
      Your trinity is a false God
      You are of your father the devil and you are a daughter of the catholic doctrine

    It is imperative that you see God as He has shown Himself: one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons in the Godhead. I have yet to find anyone that believes in the Oness theology to explain the following:
    Stephen. Acts chapters 6 & 7. When reading chapter 7 verses 55-60, how would you explain or reconcile what Stephen is seeing?
    And when reading Revelation 5:1-7, please explain the taking of the scroll from one person unless there are two distinct Persons involved in the exchange.
    Hebrews chapter 12 with special attention on verses 2, “2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
    1 Cor. 15:28 “And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.”

      I don't know why people continue to put faith in none-biblical claims such as these, though I can only conclude that this is due to people not wanting the truth

    Why? Because it is proclaimed all throughout the nt. How do people deny it, I don’t know. Probably either a theological agenda or ignoring or not understanding scripture

    I'm really shocked that you don't believe in the Trinity since you are a KJV fan. For Mathew 3:16,17 shows all three working together in unison as "one".
    And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

    The (trinity) is not only a perverse corrupt idle vain word of confusion not found in the book of the LORD, it is a doctrine of devils and a damnable heresy!
    Those who believe in the damnable heresy they call (Trinity) find it hard to understand and almost impossible to preach using words found only in the holy scripture.
    And yet the preaching of Jesus as the only wise God and Saviour, the blessed and only Potentate, the everlasting Father, the Almighty can be understood by a child.
    2 Timothy 3:15-17
    [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
    [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
    [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
    2 Corinthians 11:3-4
    [3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
    [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
    Deuteronomy 6:4
    Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
    John 4:24
    God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
    Exodus 3:13-14
    [13] And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
    [14] And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
    John 8:56-58
    [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
    [57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
    [58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
    Isaiah 45:21-23
    [21] Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. [22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
    [23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
    Philippians 2:10
    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
    1 John 5:7
    For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
    Job 13:8-10
    [8] Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
    [9] Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
    [10] He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
    John 14:8-9
    [8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
    [9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
    John 8:24-27
    [24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
    [25] Then said they unto him,
    Who art thou?
    And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
    [26] I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
    [27] They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
    1 John 2:23
    Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
    Isaiah 9:6
    For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
    John 20:28-29
    [28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
    [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
    Revelation 1:7-8
    [7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
    [8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
    1 Timothy 6:14-16
    [14] That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
    [15] Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
    [16] Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

    Steve, Trust you are still Alive !! Long time "No Hear" !!
    Please take a Serious Look at the Hebrew Text of Isa.46:5, as I am presenting it to you here Below;
    Isa.46:5, ...."To whom will ye liken me, ( GOD, the Father ) and make me equal, ( The WORD that became Flesh ) and compare me, ( GOD the HOLY SPIRIT ) that 'WE' may be like ?"
    ( Now notice the 'Plurality' of the word; "WE", in this Sentence; ..."that 'WE' may be like".
    That Word "WE" in Hebrew is; "u·ndme", and is an Absolute Plurality of the Three Several "ME" in that Text, of the sentence such as the; "liken Me",
    the; "make Me equal", and the; "Compare Me". All of which presents a "Plurality of Persons" of DEITY in this Text !
    As it is Not possible to Ignore the "plural" Hebrew word "WE", ( "u 'ndme" ) in the Hebrew text, which declares an Absolute "plurality of persons" in the Three descriptions of the "ME", as in; ...liken "Me", ( "thdmiu·ni" ) and make "ME", ( "u·thshuu" ) equal, and compare "ME", ( "u·thmshlu·ni" )
    See if you can wrap your mind around this TRUTH, and come to Repentance of your Deception of the "Oneness Heresy"

    Because the bible teaches that concept, and satan tries to distort the truth.
    Hebrews 1:8 {the Father calls Jesus God}
    Psalm 45:6
    Your throne, O God, will last, forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
    Deuteronomy 6:13-14 {Holy Spirit said worship only God.}
    "You shall fear only the LORD your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His
    name.”You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you,
    Luke 4:8 {Jesus reminds satan only God is to be worshiped}
    And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.
    Hebrews 1:6 {the Father tells the angels to worship Jesus}
    And when they saw him, they worshiped him:
    And they worshiped him.
    John 20:28, 29 {The Holy Spirit thru Thomas calls Jesus God}
    And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
    { o Kurios mou kai o Theos mou } the definite article.
    …..Does Jesus correct Thomas? No, he calls him blessed.
    Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are
    they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

    Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    In Romans:1:20
    Paul argues that God’s “eternal power and Godhead” are seen in the creation He made. God’s eternal power, yes - but His Godhead? Yes! As Dr. Wood pointed out in The Secret of the Universe, the triune nature of God is stamped on His creation. The cosmos is divided into three: space, matter, and time. Each of these is divided into three. Space, for instance, is composed of length, breadth, and height, each separate and distinct in itself, yet the three are one. Length, breadth, and height are not three spaces but three dimensions comprising one space. Run enough lines lengthwise and you take in the whole. But so it is with the width and height. Each is separate and distinct, yet each is all of space - just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is each God.
    Time also is a trinity: past, present, and future - two invisible and one visible. Each is separate and distinct, yet each is the whole. Man himself is a trinity of spirit, soul, and body, two of which are invisible, and one visible. Many more details could be given of the Godhead’s trinity reflected in the universe. It can hardly be coincidence.
    The Hebrew word elohim (gods) occurs about 2500 times in the Old Testament, while the singular form (el) occurs only 250 times and most of those designate false gods. Genesis:1:1
    reads, “In the beginning, elohim created the heaven and the earth”; that is, literally, “gods” created the heaven and the earth.” Though a single noun is available, yet the plural form is consistently used for God. And in violation of grammatical rules, with few exceptions, singular verbs and pronouns are used with this plural noun. Why?
    At the burning bush it was elohim (gods) who spoke to Moses. Yet elohim did not say, “We are that we are,” but “I AM THAT I AM” (Exodus:3:14
    ). One cannot escape the fact that all through the Bible God is presented as a plurality and yet as One, as having both diversity and unity. This is unique among all the world’s religions! To reject the Trinity is to reject the God of the Bible.

      So True! We can't deny the scriptures. There's is oneness yet there are distinctions between them through out the bible. I was reading over genesis yesterday and noticed that Elohim is the plural form of Eloah. Let Us make man in our own image.
      God is marvelous in All his ways! His ways aren't our ways. They won't always seem logical to our limited understanding.

      I just watched an apostolic video of yours and I heard you use a couple of examples in that video. The example of the Spirit, body, and soul . And then the water, ice, and steam example. I've even heard the egg, the egg yoke and the egg white thing. As a trinitarian these are the same examples we're taught to help describe the triune nature of God. He is One God, yet there are 3 different personifications. Being Father, son, and Holy Spirit. From my understanding that is also known as the Godhead. So the difference I think is, what we see in heaven. Right now Jesus is king. Literally Sitting at the right hand of the Father. He will reign untill all enemies are put under his feet. Then he will turn over the kingdom, to God the Father.

Furthermore, Jesus is quoting from Ps. 82:6 and by reading the verse in its context, we can see that the gods being referred to here are just human judges, remember “who die like men “, and no ones theology allows them to die after they have obtained godhood.

    I believe based on scripture that God is triune. The Father, the son and the Holy Spirit are One in agreement and work as One unit. I also believe that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. That Jesus has been given all power and authority, in heaven, on earth and under the earth. He is co-equal to the Father because the father has glorified his son and has given his son ALL. In heaven Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father on a throne as GOD. Just like the scriptures state in various places. As far as the Holy Spirit. Being that it is the very Spirit of God himself. It wouldn't be a subordinate spirit but rather the equal Holy spirit of the Father. Suggestions?

      There is no where in the Scriptures that says God is triune, In fact it says God is ONE. And if they are co-equal, why does Jesus have all authority, and a name above all other names? 3,000 verses say that God is one and He alone is savior. When the Bible speaks of Jesus being at the right hand of the father it is speaking of a position of power, not a position of location. God is spirit, His spirit is Holy, that doesn't mean it is a separate person. God spoke the word to create, his word did not become a separate person. Jesus is Prophet, Priest, and King, also the sacrificial lamb. Are all of those separate persons? NO. You have to read into the Bible to get a triune, or a trinity, which breaks the most important rule of Biblical interpretation. You must exegete ex·e·ge·sis
      /ˌeksəˈjēsis/Submit
      noun
      critical explanation or interpretation of a text, especially of scripture.
      "the task of biblical exegesis"

I didn't share my testimony for a while because I wasn't sure what I had seen. I thought everyone is going to think I'am crazy.

      I would only comment that in order for their to be a son, his coming into being had to have happened at some point in time, whereas God is eternal.Scripture indicates that Jesus has been with the Father eternally.In order for that to be true, which we already know it is, then he had to have been someone other than the son.I believe he was a visual representation of the invisible God.We are technically invisible as far as our essence.Our bodies are visual representations of us.We, like God, are spirits.In a manner of speaking, for Adam to be created in the likeness of God, Adam was given a body, spirit, and soul.Jesus was and is the Fathers' body, Spirit( united with the mans' spirit) and soul.

      THE TRINITY AND THE WORD MONOS
      whoever believe in the trinity can not be considered a monotheistic person the trinity states that there are separation of persons that means more than one person; Monotheism is a word that means only one God as a person no three persons.
      THE WORD MONOTHEISM
      the word : MONOS in the Greek means only one no more than one body.
      the word : THEISM means God. The word MONOS in Greek never, never is used to Christ as Monos God only to the Father much less to the Holy Spirit. 1 Timothy 6: 15-16; John 17: 3; 1 Timothy 1: 17; Mark 13: 32
      it is not possible to be a Trinitarian and monotheistic at the same time. they are two opposites words.
      we have to understand the Hebrew mentality of the monotheism concept. we also have to understand that the Greek language does not accept separation when the term monos is used, and this term in the bible is only used to the Father never,never to the Son and much less to the Holy Spirit.
      How a Multipersonal God is by definition a MONOS God; the greek word monos is exclusive and doest not give place to more than one person this is basic grammar in Greek.
      this word is very key to realize the exclusivity and superiority of the Father over the Son.
      trinitarian divide the persons not the substance and that is enough to break the etymology meaning of the greek word Monos. I was Trinitarian for many years, it is very hard to accept this after many years but it is the truth
      the fact that Trinitarian divided God in 3 persons that can not be called monotheism. if you really want to know the definition of any word you have to look at it in etymology way.
      talking about marriage the word monogamy means that it has only one person
      We can not say that a person is monogamous and has three people, not really.
      No religion that is called monotheistic has a god divided into three people only apostate Christianity, so that the trinity has passed as simulated monotheism this is part of the scam of the enemy.
      Etymologically Monos in greek does not accept division of any kind.
      Trinity is full of tradition.

    Im glad I know the Father the Son and Holy Ghost. What do you think the Godhead is? You would have to do away with the whole BIBLE to teach there is no Trinity!!!

      You think the term Godhead is plural? Where do you get that information.
      And since trinity, Trinitarian, three persons etc. are nowhere mentioned in Scripture, I think I’m safe.
      Did the Jews believe in a trinity? Jesus said they had the correct view of God in John 4:22-24

      Although I don't agree with Steve Waldron abouttheTrinity, I recommend that you watch this video th-cam.com/video/oUFhGQ4Do9s/w-d-xo.html and read the book "A woman rides the beast" by Dave Hunt, an excellent investigation which you may find interesting in your search for truth

      Please give verifiable evidence that you are a Theologian. You shouldn't lie about who you are.

      8000 references for the trinity or differences in KJV ? I make no claims on either, I present facts. I’ve done a vid on the KJV book by Moorman, freely available. The 800 NT claims are freely available, or were, from cri.
      I’ve been collecting every book on the subject since possibly before you were born.

      @@hargisP2 well then the word Trinity means 3 persons are the one God and also in the Bible. If I use your line of reasoning.

      The word bible is not a theological word like the word Trinity....so it's a bad example.
