Good stuff! I remember all the central Ohio places. Lived by buckeye yard for years
Buckeye is gone!
@@briancorey8059 You’re kidding? Lol
Used to sit there at Waterloo about every Friday evening till many times well past midnight watching Conrail run train after train! Night time railroad. NS just isn't the same.
at 12:15 is the Columbus(Hilliard)turning loop.
no need for a turntable.
Hilliard was THE only yard built new for Penn Central.
Now it is gone. Hilliard during PC and early CR was a VERY BUSY PLACE.
I live near that junction at Willow Creek. An amazes me how different it looks then from today.
Nice Blazer my friend.
7:27 is that CP Buckeye? Pls respond
Yes, that is CP-Buckeye seen from Scioto-Darby Rd.
@@RailroadMediaArchive wow,
At 1:14/31:08 is that the old NYC tower at Hebron or Fosatoria? Looks like what I recall from the 1950s when my dad worked for the NYC. I know many look alike.
No, that's Scioto/LM Cabin in Columbus. Historically a C&O staffed facility.
Ahhhh! I remember those Conrail days. I used to rail watch several places in Southern California in 1991. I used to watch the CN/BNSF/UP/METRA/IC loads in the Chicago metro area during 2002 and 2003. These days, if you watch up there, CN will call the police and will arrest people for trespassing. I can't take that risk anymore. Thanks for the clips!
Thanks for another great grafitti free video ! So neat and clean trains.
Was that your red Blazer at the beginning?
Not mine, but it did belong to the person who took these videos.
@@RailroadMediaArchive Neat, I own a 1981.
