Today my husband Darin and I went to Staley, NC to the Liberty Antique Festival held twice a year. Found some old treasures and saw many fun and odd things 🤣 then stopped by two estate sales on the way home.

Hello Teresa, I’ll just so happy there was a few affordable things at the antique festival. I was beginning of to worry as I won’t pay a lot. I can find so many of the things I love at estate sales for much less. 👀

Aunt Penny, it was huge! 😂 I am a sucker for old tarnished silverware ❤️ especially if it’s children’s silverware. 😅
I went last year,I found some goodies but most of what they had was “antique prices” as you say. It was a lot of fun to visit though.
Exactly! I’m a cheapskate and I like thrifty prices! Thats why I love estate sales! I saw many things I loved but not for a price I loved 😂

Janice, I love all the estate sales and I’m very surprised they have so many?! Is it because it’s an older city? A military base? I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ but I’m happy to shop them 😂 I do have to be mindful of my budget. I think my Etsy shop just funds my own shopping 😂😂😅
Teraki chicken is my fav in Asian food. I love hitting up all the food trucks at festvals and places like that, so much good food & sweet treats!😋 I like the teenie tiny animals, sweet. I actually like buying really small pieces just to tuck in little spaces. I stopped at a yard sale yesterday, all i bought were 2 tiny little Victorian figurine match holders and a little vase with a Victorian couple painted on it. Aww Sweet frame and bird cage.. lol looks like we both were on a minature fix😄 The dresser tray is beautiful❤ Was that little cup a seasalt cup? They use to keep seasalt by the stove and just take out pinches by hand or use A little spoon.. that's kind of what it looks like 🤷♀️ The blue jars are my favorite, so pretty. Its funny, i think everyone i watch on Utube that collects old things, including myself, had a set of those vintage metal measuring spoons😄 I had 2 and sent one set to our thrift store. Everyone must have had those back in the day huh?! I have a silver ladle like that one, it was in that box of silver that was given to me i told you about! All my silver is patina'ed. I think I'm going to shine some, and half shine some, leave some as is. I remember having those gold ornaments, that you put on your lights. I had several years ago. Lol and your crazy cat picture..too cute!😄 How appropriate is that verse for my family right now! Thanks for the reminder😊 If you could paint the bird red it would be pretty & stand out! I don't have near as many spoons as you, but i put mine in little creamers & sugar bowls. Always love your adventures & hauls, so much fun! We have a salt and pepper container. It’s wooden with a swivel lid but I like the idea of the decorative bowls better! Going to have to ponder that idea😁 I did weed out some of my spoon collection and am putting them in my shop as a lot. I think there is 6-7. Thought I could add to or help someone else start their collection 😅 since you’re in Tennessee, we should meet in between sometime and thrift shop together! ❤️
Hi I just found you and subscribed. I love Liberty and use to go twice a year with my 2 sisters and friends to become road trips. We can't physically do it anymore. Not sure which way you traveled but if you took the Liberty exit off I/40/I85 you turn left to go to Liberty but if you turn right go to 2nd lights take right and there is an old Kmart building toward the back Granddaddys Antique Mall of 84,000 square feet. I have spaces there and you can spend all day there. Next time you come to Liberty check it out. Its been a while since I have been to Liberty but there was other fields before you get to main gate with vendors set up and sometimes we would go there instead of paying gate and higher prices. Also the next weekend after Liberty we were go to Cameron Antique Festival and it is in a quaint town under streets and in peoples yards and we loved going there. You might could research it and see if still happening. Sometimes we would go to Sanford NC Antique Mall afterwards if we weren't too tired. Good luck and happy hunting! TFS
