I pray for a day that an average kenyan will realize that the real war is a class war but not a tribal one as the politicians would like us to believe. A poor kikuyu has more in common with a poor luo more than he does with his member of parliament. The realization will help kenyans unite for real change. Until then change will only be a pipe dream...in fact things will only get worse.
Update: Kenyans demonstrated for multiple days, many lost their lives making sure the oppressive bill will not be made into law, and on 27/June/2024, the president had to do as the Kenyans demanded and he will not be signing the bill into law.

Thanks for shining the light Team AU. Sadly this corruption operates like a cancer, we are all infected. It's likely that in 20 years Kenya will be no more. Unless we have a divine intervention. 😢
Kenyans we never learn despite knowing this we'll still make the same mistakes. Let us vote all this leaders out and get new ones. We need new names and new faces that will be accountable to make our lives better
How I wish every kenyan can see this and understand what is happening. I grew up in a village called Sengani, we have a dispensary called Sengani Dispensary, this is at Matungulu Constituency. When I was young it was thriving. Kibaki's era. Medicine was available free of charge. They had a laboratory free of charge. I remember how I was treated there for recurring tonsillitis, I also got treated for blood deficiency there free of charge. Now ever since devolution came, they were quick to upgrade this facility to some level I don't know...bought an ambulance, started construction of wards, let me say that was the end of this facility. Today the ambulance still there, broken, never served it's purpose, wards that were being constructed it's over a decade never completed, no medicine in the facility, no lab facility. We arr just moving backwards. I pray that one day things will be better for Kenyans.
True, very true but just imagine a real emergency coming if you know Sengani just think where you can run to? Nguluni? Kangundo level 4? Machakos level 5? I feel really bad when I think about this! Where are we headed?
13:10 , this is poor planning of the highest order ,in an area where such species of snakes are endemic, every local dispensary should have antivenom in stock for at least the snakes common to the area, it just makes sense to stock them
Sad story for the populations exposed to death by snake bite. I would like to appeal to young innovators to pay attention to this scourge and come up with solutions to keep the snakes away and/or develop a drug that can be kept in the house to help in case. Today people can keep malaria drugs at home. May God give you insight to come up with useful solutions.
What happened to our moral fiber? I regret watching this video while sitting in a public place because I have literally fought tears. It’s not even an issue I can pray about. We should NOT have to cry to God over a matter that is within human control. I have seen those children and thought of my own. I have listened to that mother and felt pain I can’t describe. I am a public servant and i take my responsibilities seriously. I work with people who give their best even with limited resources. Many Kenyans do very good work but it all goes south because of selfish decisions made by people with influence. We need to find our moral compass fast and become decent citizens.
We are Budgeting 10 Billion for Statehouse Face lift. One Billion for Deputy President House. One Billion for President, Deputy and Mudavadi Cars and Chase Cars. 18 Billion for President Tours Abroad.

In as much as poverty levels have made the voters gullible, let them also take responsibility and be accountable to the mess bedevelling their country. Civic education has always been their in the vernacular radio stations and all other means of communication.

It shows just by raising budget targets yet nothing is done to the most in need places that require services is just insane and soo backward. When leaders know they're servants and we the people hold them accountable to the last coin, we have to or else nothing changes.
I'm watching this and I'm getting angry. We introduced devolution a decade ago, it's not working because of people behind the system. The system is driven by greedy people, it's very easy to make devolution work because we have the money.
It takes time to work. For example Gen Z will not be easily bribed by 2k.... My parents used to be bribed by a packet of unga! I believe in the next decade the old guards will all be voted out of office.
It is disheartening to see our beloved country still suffering from the same problems we had at independence. Despite Mzee Jomo Kenyatta setting visions of eradicating DISEASES, poverty and IGNORANCE to transform Kenya, over half a century later we are still having the same problems that our first president envisioned to eradicate. We are still enslaved to corruption, ethnicity and ignorance of our leaders, mismanaging public resources, turning blind eyes to the cries and opinions of Kenyans with great impunity. How I wish we had achieved our independence a little later than 1963 so that we would match up to the economies (that we make examples of) of S. Africa and Singapore. Sending the Whiteman back to Britain that early was a mistake, but electing corrupt and incompetent leaders is a bigger mistake that we make in every election cycle. Ignorance, poverty, poor healthcare systems and corruption will continue until when we Kenyans wake the f*** up.
Ignorance runs rampant in the country. No one was held accountable for selling fake fertilizer actually he was defended. Our leaders are bad Yes, but we have to take accountability ourselves we are a problem as well for tolerating all conceivable forms of corruption
