I'm elderly, it might have gone out of fashion, but "mint" used to be a synonym for "(f) GOLDEN"! (perfect, superb, crisp, tight, cherry, ... and so on).
Pointless trivia: the Oxford English Dictionary lists over 300 synonyms for the word "good" (which probably includes "sick", and "bad").

BEST VIDEO!! This is the only video that makes sense. Others mentioned to pull off the button underneath on left side (Driver side on Australian model). I am right handed but in order to twist the left side, I have to use my left hand as to get more leverage but it was FAILED. Still, I followed the right side method which loosen up the larger screw with washer.
Now, since the button has broken, I was using the zip tie to tighten the gap.
And, the best part was, I was too lazy to jack-up the car ...so, I was using a flash light and a mobile phone camera to look underneath the car just to get the idea where the screws are and then using my screwdriver to locate and twist it. Took about the same time where I need to lift the car and put everything back into places.

    PRO TIP:
You can leave the bottom Under carriage screws slightly loose so that in the future you never have to go under the car again!
If you do this, all of the future services can be done from the front of the car, so that you don't have to go under with a sketchy jack, or squeeze your arm in through the side of the bumper and risk snapping the bumper's fastener clips

Nice detailed video … well done 👍. Question: what kind of LED fog light are you using - does it have to be a fan one? On the screw you loosen from the bottom, what is the purpose of that screw? Does that hold up the assembly or is it for adjustment ? Can you detail that a bit more ? Thanks

      Thanks
I have the bulbs listed in the description
They do have a fan, but does not have to be a fan
The screw holds the outer rectangular trim in place, but honestly, the clips around the plastic trim are way more than strong enough on their own where you don't need the screw. The screw does not adjust the light angle, and you can find more information on this in the fog light section of the owners manual if it interests you

    • @Striker50_
      @Striker50_  ปีที่แล้ว

No they're great; fog lights aren't meant to shoot light up
If they do, it's usually because it's a truck that is higher than average cars, or you have REALLY bright bulbs in the fog housing. Example, people putting 55Watt HID kits
Keep in mind yellow fogs are also tinted or a softer color, so they're usually not as bright as white bulbs at the same lumen 👍

Nope it's easy. Loosen bottom Phillips screw, then insert flat head into slot like shown, angle it, and pull out. Straitforward process.
You can also stick a butter knife around the edge of the trim to help with prying out, but that risks damaging the paint. Can be done in 10 seconds tops.

Perhaps salt rusted your screw from the bottom, and it was stuck at the fork connection point because of that
