Definitely the best Mandalorian figure Hot Toys has released as of today. I can't believe the number of accessories that are include with the figure -- plus a head sculpt! Always love your poses, so a separate posing video would be awesome.
It's clearly a top 5 Hot Toys figure ever. I think it's up there with Venom and Carnage. The amount of accessories, how good they look, the Chrome finish. The posing options are unlimited.
I have the prior Beskar Mando release. Was looking forward to this version. Not getting it mainly because I don’t like the amount of weathering on the beautiful chrome. Beskar is the ultimate metal in the Star Wars universe. And I imagine it also being like Teflon. No reason to dirty it up like this, in my opinion. The Mando cult reveres their armor so much, that they never remove their helmet. He would keep a beskar suit cleaner than this.
I don’t own any Hot Toys. This might be my first. I can’t stop admiring this figure. Amazing unhelmed head, shines chrome, and all those accessories! It’s incredibly tempting.
Would've been great if Hot Toys included Grogu's Mythosaur Necklace and also have the small removable detonator/ bomb disc magnetized for an easier & secure attachment to a metal bomb holder on his belt.
All the poses please, Ryan! The effort you put into posing figures shows and I always look forward to them in your reviews. Waiting on this myself so seeing a posing video would give me some good ideas. Happy new year and keep up the good work man.
Hi Jedha Patrol 👋Enjoyed the Review and will be following you because I just got into collecting these Figurines recently and this one was definitely a must have for me. I also picked up Luke Skywalker from the series as well as the Quarter Scale Grogu with his hover pram but to answer you're question, This Figure was specifically designed off S2 E2 of the Mandalorian and that's why it's so weathered. I been re-watching the episodes myself and it's pretty spot on to be honest let alone Mando still had his rifle up until episode 6. The Dark Saber is honestly the only "Extra goodie" that they included with this particular Figure. I also just saw this review is 10 months old and someone probably had already mentioned all this already but, yeah lol
im kinda disappointed with the hot toys qc. I just received my mando. After removing the chrome head to put on the spear holster. its very loose now. almost to the point of a bobble head. was very careful with it already.
You can never have enough Grogu's! the sandy foot base is another thing altogether -- NO. I can't wait to get my chrome Mando. I'm hoping he'll ship soon so I can play with all of those accessories.

Then I need to work out where to put my Beskar Mando (who was my first ever hot toy!) as this new one will be moving into his current position. What I'm thinking of doing is giving the Spear and Darksaber to Beskar Mando (wherever he may end up!) and then using the head sculpt for the Chrome one, but then again I like the actual pose for the Deluxe. Decisions decisions. Please do a separate posing video.
I feel like the deluxe is nice but I could probably be happy with the standard in this case. Not sure if I’d display him with the Swoop Bike accessories and the Boba armor can be had with other figures.

Damn, I had no intention of buying the chrome version but am finding it hard to resist now. If it's doable, I am considering putting the Pedro head on my Beskar Mando body figure. Will the head work with the previous Beskar Mando body?

My og Beskar Mando is going nowhere, whenever one is posed on ground, the other will be flying via jetpack! Not to mention its very much Season 1 Mando, with the cleaner fresh from the Armorer Beskar and undamaged cape and that different thigh armor. Starting to think the og was the one that shouldn't been Chrome amd super clean as opposed to the new one, since it's super weathered. Awesome video, I'm not liking the lack of enthusiasm for a Din Djaren headsculpt, but ok, and YES please new pose vid 👍
You purchased the one from season 1 that’s on sale. This version here from season 2 is still up for preorder, although from what I’ve heard, some are slowly shipping.

I think they should have made the bombs (all 3) attach to the belt using magnets.
It might because of how reflective the chrome is, but the chrome helmet looks smaller than the first beskar mando helmet. Great review.

To be fair, the headsculpt is not for action poses because he does not fight while in his armor AND be helmetless.
