    "You've seen poop cafes?"
"Just cafes with a poop theme."
    "Oh, of course."

At some point I saw online photos of a cafe where the bowls are shaped like toilets and there's chocolate soft serve that looks like poop in the bowls...but that was YEARS ago, like 15 years ago. Also, it might have been in Korea.

I find it interesting that when asked where they're from, most say the country, but the Americans say the state without specifying they're from the US.
Interesting stories. Nice work Cathy & Director!

    ここでインタビューを受ける訪日外国人は少し変わった人が多いという気がする。カティの趣味なのかな?

English isn't their first language so they make mistakes and might make them seem weird, but they're completely normal.

    "ceremony"... she meant "good manners"?!

Actually, I think she may have been looking for the word "ritual". It sounded like she was describing how everything is placed very specifically and every prescribed step is followed. Yes, it is good manners... to them. But to any outsider, that level of precision is overkill.

Sorry Cathy, but I have to ask if dress in anything other than Lolita? No need to answer, I'm just unnesisarily curious. 😅

Cathy's older sister (Catherine) works at NHK and dresses to more conservative office standards. 😜

I wonder if Cathy can still perform those dances by memory.

Is your prerequisite for an interview only people who have piercings & tattoos? Do only they have interesting or valid opinions? And what's with a middle aged woman dressing like Bo-Peep?

I think they interview anyone willing to be interviewed. They apparently get a lot of people saying no.

At 2:10 there’s a famous TH-camr named Lindie Botes. She’s a polyglot who has spoken at a polyglot conference in some foreign nation. She blocked me from twitter years back because I said she was a nerd. I said it in a complimentary way, like how she was like the girl who sits at the desk in the corner of the office where nerd boys work and on the weekend she does things like speak at polyglot conferences. She does actually work from a computer. But anyways, this sort of thing does happen to me. An artist who lets TH-camrs use their song for free, blocked me for saying it reminded me of Katy Perry. “Seven you and only one is for real, let me be the one that makes you feel”. Ahh, I’m going on and on. But literally all I said was that I actually thought the song was Katy Perry. Sounds just like her but whatever. Major shady, majorly shady.
