On the GLET1031FS4 there are no 5/16 bolts on the back of the unit to remove the motor assembly. It looks like there are two screws, but they’re mounted from the inside. Thing is, you can’t get to them because the motor itself is blocking them. This also prevents the element from being removed. Any ideas?
you need to remove all the screws from top of dryer top lid and lift drum up since it should lift out. You can also remove the 3 bolts and then reattach them when drum is out otherwise it won't be easy to align the holes to drum unit.
codanni, Test the 3 electrical components that are located around the outside of the heating element for continuity. these are the 3 components which are referenced in the video. Most likely one of them needs to be replaced.

codanni, In addition, ensure your exhaust tube is clear of excessive lint and not blocked. Otherwise, non-heating issue may reoccur.

Yeah that’s very important - also forgot to tells us how to release the belt before pulling out the drum…

so much of a pain to do this..
