    MINOR Update: The official specification for the Z2 lists the mouse as having 13 physical buttons, which is technically correct. However, we listed 11 in the video due to the trigger buttons being able to be pushed or clicked down, with both pairs of inputs being accessed from the same pair of physical buttons.
    If you see spam report it - it's an ongoing issue. Also let us know what you think about this mouse - do all the features impress you? would you use them yourself? Let us know what you think in the comments.

    Will be so many haters on this, cause its different, but pretty sure you can, if you wanted, use it as a normal mouse. The various depths of button presses, and the leaning seem quite useful to me, whether you could effectively game fast by attempting to get a depth 3 button press is another question - I am however all for companies trying to get outside the confines of what we are used to with a basic left and right button mouse.

    • @KitGuruTech

      Very pricey for a "normal mouse", great to see innovation though, the tilt would be very handy. The depth variations are over the top for me personally, but no doubt other people would benefit a great deal from that.

    There's a lot to like about the Z2--but 1 criticism is the lack of a "stylus/pen emulation mode" to better take advantage of the Deepclick in productivity software. As it currently stands, the Deepclick can really only be used as another input rather than a pressure sensitive pen-like mouse. Please consider adding this, Swiftpoint, because it'd be incredible in Blender sculpts (or drawing apps)

      @jamescruz8678 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The OLED could be replaced with side lights IMHO; I only use it to let me know I've changed profiles.
      idk how well the Z2's deep click feels but on the original Z, it works pretty well. Few caveats, though (again, only for the Z1 because I do not have a Z2):
      1. It's very hard to get values under 50%.
      2. It causes M1 and M2 to feel noticeably heavier than a G502.
      3. I only use it in a few scenarios, but if you plan on using it a lot, be prepared to give your fingers a workout.

Now i have 10 buttons on top, i map the 2 buttons on the side to shift and ctrl and that make 3 layers of 10 buttons, 30 buttons on the mouse and i can use it all day long with no discomfort. Z2 is an impressive device with equally versatile support software, no doubt. Almost mind-boggling especially given the 'reasonableness' of the price-point. Cons: Z2 cleanliness is a concern given the many crevices created by all those recessed buttons. Speaking of recessed buttons, the ones located rear of the first knuckle area, IMHO, are going to be challenging for anyone outside of the median 67% of human hand forms to use reliably.

      Same. G502s go for $50 CAD on sale. I have two. My jaw dropped when I saw that $300 price.

      That price initially turned me off on it too. Thankfully, I found a Z1 used for about $110 USD, which is way more bearable.

    Not sure I would use even 1/3 of these features but I like the shape of the mouse. googled that sensor, seems to get good reviews so at least the core of the mouse seems decent

    The featureset looks pretty decent but that OLED screen seems very useless - its not readable when using and unless you are working out the force needed on buttons when not really using it ?

      @@KitGuruTech So no onboard memory, the config inside the windows-software needs an active running of their software? I looked on their webside, they say:
      "Large Onboard Memory/Save up to 20+ fully customizable profiles directly to your mouse".
      Is it possible, that you test it on a different Linux PC after you programmed it on a Windows PC??

      @KitGuruTech  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It works very similar to the leaning I showed in Hell Let Loose - with some config and setup I could see it being useful in a flight sim or driving game

    They really have fired everything into that mouse, just needs a kitchen sink. I like the gryo stuff and the lean angle left to right might be useful, if you can do it fast enough without it becoming a distraction. A lot of this stuff sounds great in theory, but id need to try it myself in the real world to get a better opinion. I might actually buy one to try it out. Its certainly a company with big ideas trying new things, mocking that seems a little silly - good to see new brands coming up to challenge the likes of Corsair and Razer in the mainstream.

    Good first initial limited Review. Thank you! Great Ideas with the Z2 but for over 200 Euro (180 Euro with being on sale on their Website at the time of writing this comment), a Mouse with a fixed Cable: Never again for me personally. I had too many Cable breaks over my 30 years of using different Mouse. From cheap to highend. I am never going back from Wireless to wired. My Original Logitech MX518 was fantastic until the cable died. Later Revisions were utter trash. I keep using my Logitech G900 until it dies. But if Swiftpoint brings out a Z2+ or Z3 with a removable Cable, there is a very good chance I will take another closer look. Ergonomics are important - as someone who still suffers from the Effects of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome 13 years later, I have first hand Experience in that regard.
