Its truly a Joy to ride this bike. I have done around 2000kms on it. Including a long ride of 700 kms bangalore to chennai roundtrip. Its a great bike for city and highway and bad roads. Refined engine, super power, easy handling, and shock absorbtion is the best in class.
How about vibrations? Can we cruise at 110-120 kmph without annoying level of vibrations? Also, what about the wind blast? Is it manageable on the highways with the stock windscreen? The stock one looks quite small and narrow.
@@FirePhoenix1701 there is wind blast obv.the tiny stock visor obv cannot block it. Even the big ones cannot cut or block it completely. So its about getting used to it and managing it. I usually cruise from 80 to 110 on this bike on long tour without any effort or vibration. Above 110 i avoid anyway, although i have achieved 135 max on it.
@@Asquared316 Thanks for your message. So, I take it the sweet spot is up to 110 kmph. I have done Bangalore-Chennai ride on my Yamaha FZ-25 around 4-5 times. One thing I have observed is that a proper visor easily gives me extra 10 kmph cruising speed. Otherwise, the wind blast is boring me to the core. Even with visor, cruising beyond 100-105 kmph needs some extra push with my bike. Every time a Dominar goes past with utmost ease, it leaves me yearning for additional speed, especially in the empty stretches between Krishnagiri and Vellore. And that's why I am looking to get one which can give me the occasional 120+ kmph cruising speed (with tolerable levels of vibration and wind blast) in the empty stretches. I'm having a dilemma between the Dominar and the Scrambler, leaning a bit towards the latter.
I am planning to buy this machine, I'm 5ft 6in .... Confused with dominar as my main purpose is city ride however I am worried for long rides whether the pillion would be comfortable or not..
The Dominar is a good proposition. It'll be just a tad bit better than the Scrambler in terms of its touring capabilities. However, on the daily-ing front, its versatility and taking into consideration its off-roading capabilities, the Scrambler is a way better bike. As I always say, riding a tall bike is a skill that you should develop. Moreover, I am 5'6" too and I could daily it pretty damn easy. However, you better take a test ride and decide for yourself. I have the same confusion between this and Dominar. I hear that the weight and turning radius are some of the major cons of Dominar in the city while I am worried about the wind blast on the highways with Scrambler. Dominar scores high in all departments like having a good wind screen to prevent wind blast, very good headlight and a digital speedo (which is not a major con on the Scrambler though).
I'm 6"4, what would be a good bike for touring and off-roading with good engine power? The Himalayan is too heavy but has a powerful 450cc engine whereas the xpulse 200 4V pro is a proper adventure bike but the vibration hit around 4k rpm or 90+ km/hr, but is light weight. Advice?
I put my money down last October and still waiting for delivery here in central Canada! It’s all good! Love your video, very inspiring and exciting! 🙌
Oh poor thing! We hope you get the bike soon and start enjoying it to the fullest

@@shivakellaTrust us brother.. It won't really feel that heavy. Go for a test ride and then decide!
@@FirePhoenix1701 This thing is more bang for your buck dude! With a few accessories on, it'll be a great tourer.
