I did! I made a ground chocolate wafer crust and it was a huge hit.

That pie looks delicious! Tip: You can stabilize you whipped cream so it won't collapse overnight by adding a Tablespoon or two of instant vanilla pudding mix to your cream when whipping.

I love watching these TH-cam videos vs. a network show because these are so real. You get Paula, Eddie, Theresa, Bobby, Jamie, and Michael just as they are. Much better than canned network productions. AND you can go back and watch it again and again. I feel a better connection with everyone not only Paula and her peeps but with other viewers as well. To me, this is the best way to connect. Happy 4th of July everyone!
Yesssir! There is also something to be said for all the work and creativity that goes into the beautifully produced “canned” productions too though.
I love pie recipes like this, anything with cream cheese is my kind of pie. I am going to have to try this. A great summer dessert that is quick and easy. A vanilla wafer or shortbread crust would be good. I am going to have to try this. Thank you, Paula. I look forward to your videos every single morning. It is one of the first things I do. All that being said...I wanted to remind you of a "Trick" you showed your viewers way back when you first started your cooking show......To help your bowl from slipping around when using hand held mixer....you would put a "Dish Cloth" underneath your bowl !!!! Ha, those tricks and tips from the old shows were obviously pretty much scripted and highly contrived by the creative and production crew. 😉
You need to add hand mixers that stand up to your awesome line of kitchen appliances Paula. I’d buy one! Make it so the paddles don’t fall out after you Insert them in the mixer too. And make them dishwasher safe! My mixing paddles are slightly rusted from my dishwasher.

I watched some of your shows on food network, but never got into it much. I want you to know that once pandemic hit I watch you without fail EVERYDAY! I have tried severall of your recipes and OMG YUM! I especially love your laugh or your giggliness. When the little blunders are left in the posts, they just crack me up and remind me of my mom when she would cook too as she was an AMAZING cook as well as you and if she had a little misshap on a dish, she could fix it and no one ever knew. My mom had a dream of opening up her own Mexican food restaurant, but in the small community I grew up in, we had at least 4 restaurants already so my mom basically did a bag lady thing. I remembered at a young age I would call people and Telemarket for my mom. She sold Tamales red pork also venison or beef and also made green corn. My mom baked and also had a creative eye for decorating. I say all this just to tell you, I Love watching you cook and enjoy your show everyday. I watch it as soon as I get home from work everyday and also on the weekends. Keep them coming! Oh and can't wait to see what Eddie has done to the bathroom walls. G-maw

I made this pie yesterday, and it was just wonderful! It is so good! Just the 3 of us ate it all up. There’s a tiny piece left and that’s all! I will definitely make it again and again!
Can anyone explain the reason for the addition of those 2 tsp of sugar when you just added 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar? Was that supposed to be salt? Confusing to me, any help appreciated! 💖🥰
No, not salt! The granulated sugar acts as a stabilizer in the filling and, along with the butter, helps the filling "firm up", something that just confectioners sugar will not do.
My son does filming and editing. He watched this with me. He said Theresa did an amazing job. Age should film more. We can’t wait to see Eddy’s final project. Please show us.

Oh my that looks delightful. I did your salmon cakes. My husband said hands down best he ever had. I had never had them but i had 5! The dip i did was mustard mayo sour cream and a teaspoon of coctail sauce. It was mostly mustardy. My husband loves mustard on them but this was a devine dip for them!!! Thank you Paula!! And Teresa!

This looks very good but I'm confused about the butter. I would leave that out just to make it more affordable (save money AND calories) 😊. Thanks for sharing the recipe, I love ALL of your videos and I watch them on repeat...they are very comforting when life gets stressful...and everyday is getting more stressful.
I would not omit the butter. The butter is going to help the filling firm up when chilled, (just as in it's original stick form). Plus, some added flavor. And yes, calories.

When you beat those utensils and drag the bowls across the counter , it is very loud because there is so much echo in your new kitchen. Otherwise , I love the show, appreciate you taking your time for us. Maybe sitting the bowl's on a towel would help. ❤️🇺🇸

We are going on vacation to the beach in 3 weeks & I am trying to do make ahead recipes that I can freeze, put in cooler & not have to do alot of cooking. Happy 4th to you & your family! Be Blessed. I would love to see a great dairy free option of this recipe, but I haven’t found a good dairy free replacement for cream cheese.
There are dairy free cream cheese in the Whole Foods store or food lion.and sugar free confectioners sweetener. And use plant milks.

I refuse to eat anything with an "edible oil product". Substitute real whipped cream for dream whip mix it with loosely set strawberry jello and fold in sliced strawberries. This is way healthier and tastes 100% better.
You could almost make this in a deep 8x8 pan. To make it deeper and give you more room.

Ive seen that stolen recipe before. Its been passed all around the internet. Before & After it was terribly translated overseas(for no reason). Other than that's where it surfaced after being ripped. Just so you know you guys didnt fix it. You just altered it too.
Hint: it is suppose to say egg whites. And they couldnt translate the word fold either. So they messed up the whole recipie.
