Please Note: This is still a very new game for us. We love Legion and are excited to play more, but we also acknowledge that our knowledge of a few of the intricacies could be better. So please bear with us as we commit to get more comfortable with the rules as we do more of these.
I just showed up to learn the game because Nick you have so much fun with it. It is tough to play a game you don't know but I had fun! Except, I was a bit disappointed at the clear lack of phasers.
Not that it matters too much, but Sabotaged Coms now restricts the opponent to one order with a command card, instead of minus one. Really well made video and match though!
First of all, that table looks amazing! A couple of rules things I noticed: -If you fire with multiple different weapons at the same target, you generally roll all the dice of that attack at the same time. The keywords count for all the dice of thst attack, not just the weapon they come with. -If you have a unit with a base with a notch at the front, that doesn't have reposition, you cannot just turn the unit. The speeder bikes for example actually have to drive “in circles“ and can't just turn where they are - Note: The At-ST generally isn't that scary because of uts weapons, but because it is soo hard to kill.
A couple more things: -Jumping or moving over stuff, like barricades works a bit different than in 40k. -At 25 minutes, Tak removes a dead stormtrooper. In Legion, only minis can die that can be seen by the attacking unit. So for example if an attack would kill all minis in a unit but only part of the defending minis can be seen by the attacker, only those minis can die and the rest of the hits just dissappear.
-At 28 minutes, Iden could have also used the standby to move away from Chewie -When Chewie charged ID10, due to unit consolidation rules, Iden had to move in base contact with Chewie as well, which would have changed a couple of things. Since Iden and Chewie would be in combat, neither of them could have been shot -Cover from suppression only counts towards ranged attacks (at 30 minutes) -When a Commander dies, the player has to nominate a new one, which then gets the rank of Commander and the respective order token -units can only be issued orders, if they are in range of the nominated commander or operative Don't like being a rules lawyer. But I really hope I could help. Still, awesome content as always!

This is honestly my favorite Star Wars Legion series, the enthusiasm, table, painted units, music, the whole production is really awesome, i look forward to the next video already.
These videos have been an ansolute blast to watch! I hope to see some more. 4 just isnt enough and the play tables are phenomenal and bring the whole game to life!
I enjoy watching these. It would be interesting to see bigger fights maybe with some republic vs empire vs rebels vs CIS. Or even a 2 v 2 thing. I am a little sad we didn't see Storm Trooper Steve but this was a fun fight. Nick is always as energetic as always and a pleasure to watch in these games. Maybe we can still get that Space Marine Steve vs. Chaos Marine Steve Narrated by Steve. If we could work in Storm Trooper Steve, I would take it. 😊
Tonite on POT Gear: Nick gets trapped in Jar Jar's Jar, Tak uses the force to reach stuff on the top shelf and Steve wonders if he can use the word Kashyyyk in scrabble
The Legion Quick Guide by The Fifth Trooper is a really awesome resource. It’s an alphabetical list of all the keywords in the game that’s searchable and easy to use on your phone. I highly recommend it for anyone who plays the game
I do like how the alternating activations makes it more of a back-and-forth compared to the typically overwhelming big blob of 40k. Something I would suggest is to have some sort of counter/tracker for the remaining units in a round, just because it can kind of feel a bit difficult to tell who still has to go, along with some sort of points counter. Otherwise, really enjoying Legion and hope we see more of it!
Great job! I've been playing legion for awhile, don't worry to much, it takes a long time to get used to because of the keywords, this is by far the best legion content on TH-cam, hope to see more.

This has the best looking models, terrain, studio and multi media presentation for tabletop gaming I habe seen. I am not confused about anything going on. When units a referenced graphical overlays are displayed, lazer or eplosion graphics are seen, zooming in on dice roles, cards played and units. Top stuff👍
I love Legion this board is beautiful and the beach basing looks amazing. Just a note to remember that if you have a suppression token it gives you light cover (or heavy cover if youre already in light cover). Great game hope to see more.

36:47- Why does the AT-ST do nothing again? Did it get another ion? Or is that still the same one that he already lost a action from last round? I don’t use or deal with ion that much but I’m pretty sure 1 ion doesn’t make that one unit lose 2 full turns!?! So that ion should have been taken off after the first turn it lost!!!
This is bizarre, I have been making custom units and using the fan made "Siege of Lothal" to make an extended 1v1 campaign called, The Liberation of Kashyyyk. So this is totally wild and exciting as f**k. I'm here for it bay-bee!

As I'm sure many people have beat me to it there are some rules not being followed/understood. That said the production value is very high, kudos. And that's the greatest table I've ever seen, wow.

The table is absolutely awesome. Eye candy at is best and yes there are some rules problems (as already pointed out) but that is totally okay. As long as people are aware of that and some of the viewers correct all of us are learning.
I like Tak, he seems like a cool guy. I do have one note for him because it's something I've just started doing in Legion: standby tokens can be used to move as well as shoot. Now technically Iden couldn't have shot Chewbacca anyway but that's besides the point. Iden could have spent her Standby to move backward away from Chewey's melee attack, and into hard cover--basically setting Chewey up in a sweet little trap like in A New Hope when Han runs down the hallway after 2 troopers and finds like 20 standing in a room waiting for him haha Really hope to see you guys play again!
if those rules @Be Saved mentioned had been applied, and Nick had a super heavy on his side like @Katar Hall mentioned then that would be something epic with lots of special effects, but only if the super heavy didnt die in 1 shot first turn lol
Really entertaining battle and I like the narrative focus! Very pretty models and table. A few rules errors but it's a big game so that's to be expected
This game actually looks really fun, the table is just magnificent and the models all look stellar, it's certainly damn interesting board to look at and play on im sure. I might have to give Legion a try!

Nick really shut down that AT-ST with ion fire which was huge, that thing can put out a ton of firepower and is a tank against most small arms fire. Tak had some terrible luck on dice rolls until the end, but at that point the force had failed him for too long. Hope to see more going forward
16:30 ish not superheated nails, laser guns don't have a material/physical projectile that's fired, it's pure energy blasted out. Now there ARE weapons (slug throwers) that fire more traditional rounds, but there's no Nail 'rail-gun' (Nailgun? lol) type that i know of haha.
Yes to more Legion! The two you've done so far have been so amazing on the quality of the terrain and visual effects. Is all the terrain custom made or did you purchase it from somewhere?
new to this channel, and the glowing imperial bunker earned my subscribe! i am soon in the process of learning this game, and i love the narrative themed missions you guys have! learning is what we all do and im looking forward to get started on it! great channel! those trees look great! you could mix battle reports with "how we do terrain" clips, and tips n tricks on effects. maybe some tips on "i dont want my game boards too static, how can i solve this and still keep a good theme?".

That is a cool suggestion. Maybe they could put a bar at the top of the screen showing the remaining order tokens in the pile.

We’re 3D printing some but we’re making most of it ourselves.
