Yay, Legion! The game where its not decided in the first 2 turns and half your army does not get wiped because someone takes first turn. Love these game mechanics! Awesome table awesome army, some little derps. Great video :D

Brother, that table. That's truly one of the most beautiful things I've seen.
I like how the lightsaber battle actually seemed real because of how many times they got injured and didn't die until multiple fights later.
If im not mistaken its the entire attack pool that gains a keyword when you add a weapon with for example velocity
I think high velocity specifies that you only get high velocity if every weapon in the attack pool has it
High Velocity is indeed one of the exceptions to that keyword sharing.
First battle report on SW that I understood everything being played out. I also appreciate the Editor's Notes when something was played incorrectly. Thank you for an awesome battle.
Great episode! exited to see more legion on the channel, but something I noticed: unless otherwise specified, keywords apply to all dice in an attack pool, so with rocket launcher fire for example, regular blasters can benefit from the impact. also, while it didn't matter this time, low profile has had it's rules changed, so checking FAQs would help.
Edit: looked at the rules and noticed the repulsor moves were done correctly.

Wow, so many things I’m enjoying and I haven’t even seen all of it. Love how you are proxying models for the sake of the story/rule of cool. The addition of the TIE Interceptor is neat, and the transition being a lightsaber swipe is just so cool!
Just watched the intro but had to say that table set up looks amazing. You guys really knock it out the park with your table scenery, buildings, etc.

About rules, in just a pair of attacks I think you applied impact first and then cover, but cover is applied before rules that modify dice results. That aside, this report felt so smooth, and I like the use of proxies for more narrative feels instead of being enclosed to just what exists right now.

I love the use of plastic cups to give the additional height above table top. Hobby tip to store in the back of the mind!
22:30 I don't know if y'all know this, but force choke allows you to single out the individual non-leader trooper model you assign the wound to, rather than simply giving the entire unit 1 wound. So you could have chosen the Z-6 trooper to remove from the field.
This was freaking amazing guys. The terrain was awesome. And the whole battle was just very cinematic, please do more of this!
Nick seems like the best opponent ever! He doesn't get mad about losing units or get salty when the dice don't go his way. He is just there for a good thematic battle and a good game. We should all be more like Nick when playing :)

I love your videos. The production value is so high, but more importantly, it makes a battle report easy to watch. Nice smooth action flow with just enough detail to follow along. Substituting Ahsoka, Hera, and the TIE Interceptor was brilliant! Amazing how the battle came down to the Vader/Ahsoka showdown. Can’t believe all the saves you guys were making…

I love how op vader is and that he is worth 1/4 of your army. even when surrounded by enemies(turn two) he is just focusing on ahsoka and killing corps as he goes

Amazing! I’m a fan of 40K and legion, so you guys are the perfect channel!!
I’d like to point out that death troopers get an aim token for standbys, not movement and the rebel commandos should have got suppression tokens when the TIE interceptor shot them.
A tip for death troopers, use the focus fire upgrade, it’s free and gives you range 4 suppressive shots on everyone, and range 2 red dice, with blast.

The alternate activations does wonders for the cinematic feel since the other player isn’t waiting nearly as long
@@mrfister1234 apocalypse and kill team play like that so idk why 40k cant either. Keep the phases but only have battle rounds so if it’s the shooting phase, units switch who shoots and with charges too that way an army isn’t wiped out from one person’s whole army charging. Movement phase would be the most interesting cause it’d be like chess where both players are constantly putting each other in check before the fighting begins. Hell even the fight phase is based off activations so idk why the shooting, movement and psychic phase can’t either
Loved it - great to see more legion content. I enjoy 40k and you guys do great battle reports but Legion always feels a lot closer and plays better in my opinion- alternate activations help a lot!
Keep the Legion content coming, this is very nicely produced. Also, not a big deal, but the tokens you used for Surge tokens were actually Standby tokens. Again, as long as you both knew what it was, didn't change the game at all. Cheers!

Rules problems...
You cannot give out surges from Aggressive Tactics with HQ Uplink, because the unit was not given an order from the command card, and Luke (Ahsoka) gave out the order, so Leia (Hera) is not allowed to use aggressive tactics, because they were not given from her card
Very qualitative content. Easy to follow and great use of VFX and sound effects.
I mean amazing as always. Intro music is a little heavy, very hard to hear Nick in the beginning.
