- Master Groomer Nicole is going to walk you through a pet Wire Fox Terrier head. The Wire Fox terrier is usually completely hand stripped, but for a pet, we can make things a little easier for the owner by cutting some corner. Winston's body is still hand stripped to keep his color parts vibrant.

At last to find a good video of grooming the head... I've always groomed my own Ted, and always struggled to get the beard right because he keeps rubbing it up!

The bonus of working on your own dog at home is being to work on them whenever. You can work on her face in spurts, making each session a few seconds longer to help build up her endurance. Wire fox terriers are best at finding mischief, and they have terrible cases of FOMO. We just need to help them see that they have really good views on the grooming table, of all the mischief they could be getting into once their grooming is done 😊 Good luck with your girl and I hope she comes around to loving her face getting groomed.
This bread it’s not supported be groomed the technique it’s clipping to make the hair do the full circle
While I 100% support that they should be hand stripped, not all pet owners can pay or keep up with the demand of a dog that is hand stripped. He actually is hand stripped, and was stripped before the clippers went over him for the demo, which you can tell because his color is still vibrant. However, when it's not feasible, a well groomed dog is in better condition than an ungroomed dog, even if that means clipping the coat.
poor hair…only hand stripped!!! only. why to take such a difficult breed to take care of and not to give a heck about him later? take a NON-wirehaired dog and that’s it.
Making a lot of assumptions about this breed and ownership. I love the breed and its look. However, not evrtyone wants a show dog. I guess W FT are only for a select few. How stuck up you must be!
