Blows my mind what this dude puts into this show. From money and labor invested, to editing and production details like you mentioned. He definitely earns his money. A lot of podcasters, and other channels are shamefully lazy by comparison. I just hope he doesn’t burn himself out.

Honestly the time it took to build the motor isn't anything special. They had all the parts ready, so for it to take a week they worked business as usual i'd say. Granted that's from my own experience of replacing the 5.7l hemi in a Durango, that took a week as well and I don't work in any garage plus I only had time to work on it after I got home from work.

Like with most things, it's usually not too hard IF you know what you are doing AND have the right tools / funds available. For others, it might as well be magic. I know how to drive a car, but don't ask me to repair and/or change anything on it. I don't know how and I am not interested in knowing how to either. On my bicycles however, I can and I will.
Then again, I love this channel, and Mat's (through which I found this one). And it is not the cars that keep me watching, it's the enthusiasm for doing this stuff these people display. Keep it up. Re-use, repair etc. 👍

Congrats to you, Ivan and Cannonball Garage on pulling off this build in such a short time. Amazing you got to present it to Jay and that you get to be in an episode on his channel. Definitely a positive ambassador for the automotive community. I hope you get to show him your P1 build when it's ready as well.😎

The quality of the content Freddie is blessing us with recently is nothing short of astounding. This channel was my introduction to high-quality TH-cam car content way back in the V8 Vantage days and I’ve loved the story arc that Freddie has taken us along for. Despite the (thoroughly deserved and hard-earned) success of the channel, Freddie remains down to earth and humble. Long may it continue!

What a fantastic video series on this awesome car. I love watching master mechanics show their mad skills. Especially when the engineers fail and then up comes those ”H beam” con-rods it’s like watching a symphony with how organized and well thought out the replacement parts are made. It’s that “build a better mousetrap” that always gets you thinking of creative solutions like the transmission, that was awesome . Those dyno runs had me thinking though 🤔 It’s a euro car meets American ingenuity. I was in awe when you pulled into “Jay Leno’s garage” that had to be a “check off the bucket list” there. I can’t wait to see more when Jay posts his video. It’s like you assembled a dream team to pull all that off.
