Thank you for sharing this great video - neat filming and some great angles. The US-1A is one of my all-time favourites and undoubtedly a milestone in seaplane technology! I simply love the looks with the high visibility markings all over - a real classic! I'm happy to have several models in my stash (1/144 Anigrand and the mighty 1/72 Hasegawa) which I hope to build sometime. A mystery to me why no other airforces or navies around the world obtained this high-performance aircraft. What a fantastic machine 💪! Thanks again for sharing.

An incredible, graceful and one-of-a-kind aircraft.

What this flying boat did in terms of airframe was taking the H8K Emily airframe then attach engines of the MH-53 Pave Low to it just like the US-2 did which was taking H8K airframe and putting C-130J engines to it. If the Japanese knows how to take WW II era flying boat airframe and attach post war engines to them then Airbus can do the same to Short Sunderland and BV-238 by taking their airframes and putting A400M engines to them. That way the Western World and Japan have a reply to Putin's Russia Beriev Flying Boats and Jinping's China AVIC AG600 Harbin SH-5s in the world market

Hi, may I use a clip from this video? I'm working on a video explaining lift and Coanda effect. You will be given full credit.
