Saw a Honda Beat in the background. Swap the little 656cc 3 cylinder out of that, about 70hp, 9000rpm redline, sounds insane and kind of exotic.

I like how the camera person kept the low angle.
The powerful version (yes), used to clean up in the small engine capacity racing class in Italy. A light car and quite a good "goer".
It looks like the type of car you would see In a Kiddy car ride at your local Carnival or a amusement park ride.

The Berkeley weighs over 650 lbs. That's still pretty impressive for Dennis to lift the back end up high so easily. The guy may be thin but he has that wiry kind of strength.
Wonder what the weight balance is on that car. It is front wheel drive, fuel tank & battery in the front. The engine also sets ahead of the front wheels so that'll act like a counterweight when lifting the rear.

I did that with a Pinto Pony when I was a bit younger. Those cars were pretty light as well.

As strange and weird as it is, Berkeley being British is not what it seems. The actual pronunciation of Berkeley is Barklee. Don't ask me why because I do not understand it either, but say Berkley here and you soon get corrected lol.
Just thought you may want to know that bit of useless information.

@James Price I think you've mixed that up 🤔 ... it's spelled with an "e" and pronounced with an "a" ... the guy in the video owns one and he gets it wrong too. It's the English pronunciation and its pronounced "Barkley" 👍

@@stuarttrewern yeah, it dosn't mattar. It's a lovlee microcar irregardless. It's about a thurd the lenth of my 52 Codillac, and has similar aesthetics to a Lotis Elen. 😂
Lovely little thing, and decades ahead of its' time in a way. If you think of manufacturers now, getting creative with aluminium and plastic to save weight! Still a product of its' time though, as Bond and his peers were building them ultra lightweight so they sat in a cheaper road tax bracket. Fiat 500 Twin Air...? Pfft.
