I crashed mine over a month ago into a tree and it fell into rocks. However the phantom 3 is pretty durable so it only suffered a small crack in the shell. The wind was much stronger than I thought it was, and now I'm scared to fly and just last night ordered new props. Thank you for this video :)

I do attach a 2500 Lumin flash light with a purple lens to my P3S. If really freaks people out because I fly just high enough so they can't hear the drone.

Had a few really small nicks in some props no chips so I sanded em down and rebalanced em. Have a fresh pair in the mail but 3 flights in and these ones are still going strong. Any vibration is not ideal but nicks aren't that big of a short term issue.

While in flight, the best possible way to avoid crashing into a vertical object is -- when possible --fly UP! Always serves me well. It also gives you time to clear your ahead and set a new course.

Final Cut Pro X is a one time fee of $300. I use Final Cut opposed to iMovie because Final Cut is quite a bit more advanced than iMovie and in general, I just like it a lot more than iMovie :). Keep in mind that other programs such as Adobe Premiere, you'll need to pay a monthly price of $10 for a single program ($120 per/yr), or $30 a month for all of the Adobe CC Suite ($360 per/yr). If you know that information, that definitely makes Final Cut Pro look a whole lot cheaper considering you get the free new upgrades as well without paying any other price! Also, I have also bought Apple Motion ($50) which I use sometimes for different graphics things such as my outro. In conjunction, they both work amazingly and I would highly recommend them if you are considering becoming a all-in creator. Saying all of this, I don't hate iMovie, it is absolutely a great program! I actually edited a couple of my first videos on this channel with it. I just since then have upgraded to FCP as it greater meets my needs as a creator. Hope this helps!
I have had pretty good luck buying used batteries from EBay. I personally will not buy unless the seller states that the battery has been charged less than ten times. I buy my new batteries from www.dji.com NOT store.dji.com you could do a search and see if there is a DJI dealer in your area. But the DJI dealer in my area has a very limited selection.
Johnny Pecze you can get another battery on amazon but make sure it comes from DJI. A 3rd party battery will fry the IMU card in the drone, crashing it

Do you have any advise on bad connection with the drone? My phone live feed keeps on getting stuck for a few seconds which is very scary. Especially today - I flew it my 2nd flight and had a plane very close to me when it was stuck. If I wouldn't hear that plane and look up... I mat be in trouble.
Yair, you shouldn’t even be close to any planes. You’re either flying way too high, (which is illegal), or you’re flying way too close to an airport(Which is VERY illegal). Either way, you shouldn’t be close to a plane at all in any circumstances, as it’s illegal and endangers anyone on board. (I wouldn’t even care if your drone got crashed into by a plane, I’d be much more worried about the lives on board the plane. Don’t endanger lives just to get a cool shot.) I've heard that the drone can flip over after you land if you shut off the motors using the CSC command instead of just pulling all the way back on the throttle stick like you should...not something i did,but have heard others say that

Are you sure? Usually, Amazon accepts returns 30 days after purchasing so you should be able to return/replace the drone at no extra cost and buy a new one after it is returned.
I have dji phantom 3 standard and i wonder why after the update my drone shaking while hovering in the air. the whole drone seems like vibrating. The last time i use my drone i try to autoland then its shaking before landing and the drone then drone crashed luckily the drone is fine since it was about to land before it went crazy before landing. So i was afraid i try to fly my drone yesterday i just hand catch it rather than auto land Sometimes also when i try to take off it shows compass stuck on dji app then i have to try again until it able to takeoff. Any idea?
I literally just had my first small very minor crash from 3 feet up in to my fence while landing, gust of wind plus too confident and too close to fence hit fence going 1-2mph. Battery fell out. Little scary but everything works minor scratch on propeller. Replaced it and everything works fine still worrried about something being wrong that I can't see.. any tips ? @carsonmiller
Hmm I'd say as long as it still flies well and you don't notice any anomalies, it should be fine! I actually crashed my drone making this video when I was shooting the shot at 00:03:30. I hit a tree, and it just took a huge fall to the ground but it ended up flying fine afterwards :).

It has happened twice now and I would love to know why I've been setting at my picnic table about 30 feet from my house and had my P3S on the ground and pushed the left stick to go up, up and away and it just takes a real fast shot square into my house, patio door glass to be exact and seems like I could not shut it down for nothing. Yes , I was pulling the left stick all the way, " nothing" than both sticks down and to the inside corners ( I have watched your videos on how to stop the motors) As it is just chopping the shit out of the screen door I have to crab it and just keep trying the stick thing till it finally shuts off. Blade pieces and prop guards are history. I have not had an issue like that at other areas. WTH is going on ?...

Fear of crashing and losing a ton of cash, was the reason I didn't get a drone for a long time. But I conquered it and now love it.

Good tip on the spare propellers, but I would recommend going to carbon fiber. They fly better, less noise, and more durable

Yep, that is true! My brother did that once, causing a couple props to break and the drone ended up being fine but it could have ended worse.

If I get a bug on DJI go I just switch to litchi. Litchi is my backup app
