Being a 25yr old, I didn’t have the opportunity to hear this song during the Kill Uncle tour. It really warms my heart to hear you play this song during this time! Absolutely stunning, thank you!
Alain, I must have watched every one of your videos 10 times now. Unfortunately I know you have so much work to do in the real world, but I would love to have you here every night! These videos are seriously producing so much happiness. Hope you'll have time for one more some time in the future
Que gran temazo ES UN VERDADERO HIMNO DE LA MÚSICA, tiene mucha fuerza es como un himno de batalla para levantar los brazos cantar y volver a resucitar tremenda canción gracias Alain
an all time fave, all the kill Uncle songs played in 1991 were so energetic and better, as you were there, and I Thanks Alain for this beautifull at home performance. You made an old man happy on a sunday morning. Thanks!
I was at that show, and while having been exposed to rockabilly when I was younger, be it Texas Swing ( I’m from Texas), or Elvis, or The Stray Cats, or even The Clash, I hadn’t heard that kinda of rockabilly before. I remember thinking, “Damn, who are these kids backing up the Moz?” I was 30 at the time 😅 But I remember you, Alain. We were a couple rows in front of the stage. Anyway … I bought Kill Uncle, and more importantly, You Arsenal, Vauxhall And I, and You Are The Quarry. Why Don’t You Find Out For Yourself always makes me cry when I hear it, and Spring-Heeled Jim could be a requiem for one of my closest friends I lost in the 80’s. Of course all of the music on YATQ is epic ! It’s impossible to thank you enough for what you have given and shared over the years. Cheers, Mark
Good to see you back with the home sessions, master. I always hallucinated with acoustic versions of "The Boy Racer" or "Trouble Loves Me", among many more. Anyway, thank you for so many songs. Greetings from Chile.
