Is it necessary to disconnect the hoose in booth side?
@@rinoce70 yes.
Por recomendación si le hubieras echado una grasa a las bobinas para impedir que gripen con el calor mejor, así para la próxima vez que las quites saldrán más fácilmente 😉
I know that, but I didn't have at the time.
Thank you for the video, same setup on my 1.5 VW Taos. This helped a lot.
Happy to help. ✌️
Good work, good channel. Liked, commented and subscribed.
Thank you very much!
Perfect tuto!
Thank you! 👍
Nice! Thank U.
You are welcome👍
Good morning,
congratulations on your video! it's very informative. Tell me, what are the references of your hood struts?
Thank you for your appreciation. You will find them on ebay or alliexpress.
I received them as a gift. You will also find a a video on the channel with their installation.
Thank you …nice instructions but please help me how to disconnect the clip for the spark where i have to push with the fingers?
Thank you for video. Do you have plans to record similar one and prepare the instruction how to clean the throttle and valves? It would be useful in this engine type 😢
Thank you for your appreciation. The cleaning of the throttle and valves should be done by a professional service. I will not risk that.
Thanks for your video, I'm replacing a Coil pack, but the socket is on the other side of the pack on the new one the dealer gave me, do you think it means it's wrong part?
I'm sorry mate, I don't understand. If you have the 1.5TSI, use the exact tolls presrnted in the video. Will work.
Hello, thank you for the great video. I have a question about the ignition coil connectors.
How do you get them off? I tried it on my car as a test, but I can't get them off. I don't want to break the plug. thank you very much.
Thomas
P.S. Engine Code DADA
Hello Thomas.
You have a small clip on each connector. Push that clip and with force pull the connector. Don't worry, you will not break anything.
@@MrTomek1962 with pleasure!
With a lot of those connectors, if you're pulling the connector whilst you try to push the little clip, the clip won't release. You have to push the plug on a bit whilst pushing the clip to release the catch, and then pull the connector whilst keeping the clip pushed down.
My superb is on 73,000 miles, there are known issues is it still recommended to change
Great , how often do you change them ?
Every 60.000km or 4 years.
Thanks a lot for your vidéo, it was really helpfull 😊
I broke the push button (ring) of the crackcase breather hose because i only push on it from the top, i didn't know the correct way was to push on the button from the top and the bottom at the same time... I hope my mistake will be usefull for other people.
Maybe I can replace the crackcase breather hose to have a button (ring) to fix it better.
Sad to hear that mate. Try to replace it. It is expensive?

You put the iridium plugs in? The original were platinum by the looks of it.
I've put original plugs. Code: 05E905602
Nice video...what is the original plug code pls
I used original plug in the video.

which Spark plugs do you use and the specific part number it would be very helpful for me

Hi, thank for the video
Every how many kilometers do you have to change them?
Hello!
4yrs or 60k km
How do I know 22 nm?
Tried turning anti clockwise like the video said to get the 1st part of the air intake off, but it wont budge.
Any tips?
That is the only way.
Tip: do it after a medium trip(10-15km) - engine should be warm.

Multumim pt video-urile foarte utile !

We don’t even get an engine cover here in the states. 😂. How are the 1.5s holding up?
Hello! Mine has 67.000 km now.
I am very happy with it. No oil consumption, no other issues. Very good engine from my point of view.

Hey, can you tell me where to buy the retaining bracket? I tried to reinstall the old one and it got broken..😂😂
Hello. That's why you need to replace it every time :))
You have the part numer in video. Try to google it or ask to your vw/audi/skoda/seat dealer.
Nie widzę powodu do poprawy kunstruktora tego elementu. Po kliku minutach pod wpływem temperatury dochodzi do rozszerzenie się materiału i nić nie " dźwięczy ". Moim zdaniem taki luz nie jest bez znaczenie.

Around 55.000 km
What is your engine code?
My engine code is DACA, but the procedure is the same for all 1.5 TSI engine codes.
@@VladGeru mine is DADA and is the same . I broke plastic clip from vent hose and no problems , is very weak and no space but still holds in place firmly
@@jose15pina1 worst case you can replace the all hose, but if it is ok with broke clip keep it.
@@VladGeru yes , if happens to you the plastic is weak and pressing can break but cant see any issue so far .

What is the part number of the retrain bracket?
You have the part number in the video at minutr 1:10.

BIG Mistake ! @ 2.25, you grab the pipe connecting to the Turbo outlet and just pull and pull... this is WRONG. If you looked carefully, you will see a locking ring. Rotate this by approx 90 degrees and then the ring can be moved up. Then.. the pipe can be removed. To re-fit, move the locking ring into it's "up" position, push the cross pipe into the turbo outlet (all the way down) and then push the locking ring as far down as possible.. then HOLD then rotate 90 degrees to lock the pipe. Just pulling / pushing is brutal and incorrect
Take a look at min. 1:20
He didnt pull and pull, he rotate the connection and then he pulled...I dont see the problem, I did it the same way. Its just a rotation lock, no issue in that. @@VladGeru

The 1.6 engine is better.
Diesel? Better than a petrol?
@@VladGeru 1.6 on the golf/jetta/sciracco/4000 etc engine from the 70s and 80s. It was bullet proof, got high miles per gallon and it could get the same horsepower with a turbo. Changing the spark plugs was three steps and you used your hand for the first step and the last step.
@@fernarias is your opiniin and I respect that.
What is wrong with using my hand in the spark plugs?
@@VladGeru I'm sorry that you didn't understand my response. These new engines require too much work to just change something that should be easy like spark plugs. The old engine from vw only required that you 1. remove plug using hand, 2. remove spark plug using spark plug socket that cost $2, 3 install spark plug using spark plug socket that cost $2 (could be used on every car made at the time), 4. reattach plug using hand. I could do one spark plug in 2 minutes tops.
Has nothing to do with you.
@@fernarias understood now, but from my point of view it wasn't so hard to replace the spark plugs
You don't need special tools.
I advice take out a small tube that contains the air from pump air. That tube its very near from the big plastic clip. In my car when I take off the plastic clip, that small tube plastic break. I have to glue the plastic and reforce with epoxy resin. Its was bad design make a plastic piece so fragil.
Thank you for the tip, mate!
Ridiculous place to put it hey.
