Lyveden Manor National Trust

A low key yet quirky National Trust property, situated near Oundle.
Nice grounds, a Manor House and another unfinished Elizabethan Lodge with a sad backstory.
Tranquil moats, viewing terraces, and an Elizabethan Orchard to explore, with the added bonus of a Cafe and 2nd book store within the Manor House itself.
All told, you wouldn't build a day around it but it wasn't without its charms.
