Hey Brad, good question :) We refer you to a ZipHearing-affiliated provider near you, and that's done in-person in their office, just like you'd do at any other hearing provider's office. You can learn more about how ZipHearing works here: www.ziphearing.com/
I have since gone to a Zip hearing affiliated audiologist in my area thanks to you. All done. Just getting used to the new hearing aids now. I had another question. I will see the audiologist next week. Will they test to see that I am actually hearing better, according to my hearing test? @@Ziphearing
Thank you for sharing such a great user experience video. I’m in the UK and had my Audiology consultation today. And settled on this device as it seemed the perfect solution to my lifestyle needs. At 68 decided that addressing hearing loss now was the thing to do. After watching your video, I’m excited at the thought of getting them. All the best and thanks again!

I have been wearing hearing aids for 40 years and have tried at least 15 different ones and I can say that the last 3 years with my Phonak Paradise then Phonak lumity aids my hearing is the best I can ever remember it being they are incredible sound quality and streaming music or phone calls is fantastic too.
That seems to be how our customers are feeling at the moment, right now Phonak Lumity is our best-rated overall model: www.ziphearing.com/hearing-aids?
Thanks for sharing your first hand experience. So good to get a review from someone who is not trying to sell me something. I'm going to see about getting fitted with a set of Phonak Audeos next week.

Oh Tom......I'm so sorry for your experiences prior to getting these aids somewhere you trust; it is so unfortunate that many hearing journeys start that way. I would just like to say that not all Hearing Specialists are salesmen; some of us truly care about our patients and are well educated & professional. I always advocate trusting your gut instinct when meeting ANY hearing professional weather they are an Audiologist or Hearing Specialist, and be willing to walk away if you are not feeling comfortable. I just fit my Dad with Phonak Lumity Life90's and he is also loving the experience. Thanks for your candid review Tom 🦻

Hey Tom, thanks for this! I'm doing research on an upcoming audiology test and this time might be the time when I actually get one :-) Glad to hear you're happy with these Phonaks. There are a bunch of vids on them but a real-life experience is worth 5 of them.
If you can hear your phone thru the Phonaks, you should also be able to stream sound to them from other apps on your phone or via Bluetooth from your laptop.
Also, if you have the 90s, try tap control to access Google help or your phone. Double tap one ear to pause/resume streaming audio. Double tap the other ear to make it end a phone call or access the help.
I'm lucky I get my hearing aids thru the VA hospital and if you have bluetooth on your computer you can have audio streamed to your hearing aids and TV connector also. I had my hearing test today and get the phonak lumity in 30 days
Me too, I'm VA also. I just had an appointment with the audiologist this week. I was told I will get Phonaks in the mail but don't know the model. So how are they doing.? Have you noticed an improvement with tinnitus.? That is my huge problem, it's driving me crazy. Thanks for your service brother.
@@dirtwhisperer658 tinnitus wasn't a problem for me in 4 /12 years and if your just getting new phonak hearing from the VA most likely it would be phonak lumity, I paired them to both my iphone and ipad at the same time don't have to disconnect one device to connect to another. connect 2 devices at once and if your phone rings while on the other it will do it automatially. Thank you brother for your service
I am a veteran and getting my L90’s this week from the VA. My wife’s L90’s cost $7500 a few months ago. I can hardly wait to get mine, the wife is very happy with hers.
@@rOHRshackartpottery, for $7500! You could fly to Europe, such as Paris, London and still get the top of the range Phonak, a Swiss company. My daughter just got one (for one ear only), for under £1200 here in the UK, which is around $1500! So this would be $3000 for a pair.
@@rOHRshackartpottery , it's top of the range Phonak, the Audeo Life Lumity R-L 90 which is waterproof. It's top of their range, so the most expensive. It was bought online, you send your audiology test results and they adjust them for you. However, if you bought them in a specialised shop, it would cost you more, say around $4000 maximum.
Streaming quality on the Lumity range is actually pretty decent for hearing aids. There is no way these will sound like a set of airpods or airpods pro, its just not what hearing aids are meant to do. But, for some casual listening and, especially, audiobooks and podcasts the lumity sound great! Thanks for your question!
@@Ziphearing That's interesting. A colleague at work has these hearing aids and is absolutely delighted with the music-sound I think it's because she wears the devices with closed earpieces.
This may be a dumb question, but have you talked to your hearing specialist about this issue? There are so many controls and settings in the Phonak program that can help with your problem! I would reach out and set up some time to try and address these concerns with your hearing specialist! Let us know how it goes!
Does Zip hearing fit them for you? And does an Audiologist do that? In person?

Thanks Tom but I should tell you that you are using cones and should be using molded aids. That has made a major difference to my hearing!
Use Bluetooth if you don’t already. The Bluetooth is built in
