kia Carens is any day more affordable spacious with decent level of safety feature rich ( compared to price segments ). if your budget is not your concern then only Kia carens, ertiga, xl6 can be avoided or else they are the only affordables at this time ( excluding Renault triber for its low cc engine )
I think a point missed is that the on the road price of safari and xuv700 are above 25 lakhs, and the top most models are 30 lakhs, only alcazar and carens on the road price is below 25 lakhs

Just discussing about the available features will not help the buyers. This can be done by the showroom executives. If you really want to showcase the ability of these cars, test them on hill terrain and also talk more about the maintenance part.

Bro ncap test are on the basis of lowest models. Lowest model of kia carens is 9 lacs much cheaper than other cars lower models thus scored 3 stars due to less build quality at that price. But if the top model is tested, it would definitely scoee 4 or 5

The biggest drawback of the safari and harrier is the infotainment system. Very small as compared to the size of the cabin. They need to do a facelift to catch up with the market
You are mentioning USB type incorrectly. You probably meant USB 3, or USB 2. What you're showing in the video are regular USB ports. Type C or A refers to the smaller ports.
Well well, crisp video, but I am quite surprised at just one thing - I hear renowned car critics in India calling big crossovers , SUVs! 😞, all these cars are front wheel drive without a proper true blue 4 wheel with slip diff lock in place - the basic need in a vehicle to be termed as SUV - in my books these are at the most a stretched hatchback or maybe MPV at the best or crossovers and this applies to MG Hector, Jeep Compass and the recently launched Meridian. Would wait for your expert comments on this buddy!
why should there be just one kind of SUV? when we can have luxury sedans and super sedans - same body style but with a completely different breadth of capability - why can’t there be an urban SUV which has the advantages of a high riding vehicle, but is better suited to the city, and also have an off-road SUV that is compromised in the city, but at home in rough terrain? the term SUV might have been coined when the UV part was more important but with off roading becoming more of a hobby now than a necessity, why not keep the advantages without lugging around a heavy 4wd system, diff locks, etc etc that’s what i feel anyway, though i understand where you’re coming from

Great video Review. Mahindra XUV700 looks already old and resembles too much and I have mostly mistaken this car as XUV 500. NOT a great design advantage. Kia Carens looks very under tyred and looks more like a van than a MUV. HYUNDAI Alcazar is the best looking Creta and that's a good thing compared to the super wiered looking Creta. TATA Safari is the best TATA product in the market it's not the best among the competition but it's not bad at all and that's good. I love the new TATA cars and I'm also a fan boy for TATA. I wanted to buy the Nexon but finally will be taking delivery of Punch next month and this would make the third TATA product I have purchased in my life.
Hey thanks for the replies. Ya I could have brought Altroz but let me tell u about my first TATA car. It was an Indica V2 taxi model which I drove to earn for my family, the car wasn't perfect and TATA's service was poor too which caused lots of issues in the Indica but once I started to service the car at a private garage the same problematic Indica started earning me profits which in turn financed for my second Indica V3 taxi which also was serviced privately and both car helped me my driver to earn a lot specifically during the IT rush of Bangalore. After i strayed to work privately I sold both cars and brought a second hand Qualis taxi which I sold and brought a sound hand Innova taxi which I sold and brought my first own but second hand car Hyundai Getz which I exchanged to buy Hyundai Grand i10 Asta CRDI. AS TATA had not got any good products I had to buy Hyundai and other manufactured vehicles but now the scenario is that TATA cars are becoming brilliant which is why I have purchased TATA PUNCH Amt Creative model as my wife's daily drive car for her office use and my next car will definitely be TATA Safari. So I'm happy with my decision and I will support TATA Group. Thank you for reading my story.

Nonsense review. Kia Carens is a tin can on wheels with a puny engine. If you close the rear door with the window glass rolled half down, the glass shakes 2-3 times. If you close the rear doodle harder, the whole car shakes up. That is the level of quality. Body panels are super thin and will give tough contest to Baleno. XUV700 is the best car under 25 lacs. Peppy petrol, punchy diesel, ADAS, tons of features, 5 star safety rating and so on. 👏👏👏

The Crystal with its RWD and Ladder frame chassis is much more competent in the rough stuff than these pseudo SUVs with their Front wheel drive and Monoque chassis. Try climbing up a steep gravel road with full load with any of these as compared to the RWD Crysta. And the Toyota is much more comfortable for the long haul too. Did I mention reliability? I fully agree! We had called for the Innova Crysta but the media car was unavailable. If you aren't interested in driving or too many gizmos, there really is nothing as comfortable and reliable as the Innova. A proper legend in the seven-seat space.
XUV 700 has AWD. Innova is so overpriced for what it offers. Curent young gen dont want a van as their daily driver. Regarding comfortability i will say no, Been in Innova never felt it warrents so much premium for a very minute increase in comfortability. And for reliability, yes its reliable. I am all ok for innova if they price it sensibly. Their top end on road should be under 25 for it offers. Most cars today go on for 10 years comfortably which is more than ok for a family shopping for a under 30 SUV. we all want all the gizmoz. Either have all gizmoz or price the car less. Innova has no feautures and priced more. Its ok for taxis and other comercial purposes.Toyoto is really ripping of people with its one model with age old interiors.

The comparo was for "SUV"s and Innova with its ladder chassis and real wheel drive is far away the better SUV than all these posers with their car like monocoque chassis and front wheel drive. I understand that most people will never venture out of the paved roads and call a vehicle SUVs just cause it "looks butch" and SUV-like. If the comparo was for which car has the most bells and whistles for the cheap, then I guess these "2 African elephant on top" and "internet inside" cars would win by a wide margin. But let's face it. None of these cars are SUVs. ( no matter how much the younger crowd loves to twist the term to incorporate their latest fancy ride) Bur as far as real SUV- like characteristics and the ability to take the rough with a full load, the Innova beats every single one of them hollow.
We did want to feature the Toyota Innova, but the media car wasn't available. That said, the Innova would be our recommendation if you want a comfortable seven-seater that will run fuss-free for many, many kilometres!

Best vehicle for 7 ppl is still Innova , with RWD it’s more capable than these FWD MPV / SUV. Add boot space to that which is not present in Safari / XUV . Add to that Reliability n cost of upkeep which neither of these can match. It’s still the Virat Kohli of 7 seater.
People who test drive a Safari will not settle for any other car. If you wish to enjoy drive quality with a safe, reliable, fun to drive and super luxurious SUV,, chances are that you will not look beyond the Safari 2022 model.
The base xuv700 will kick the carens out of the park pound for pound is far better than carens and alcazar. 150bhp diesel is more than enough, carens looks like a mutant yuck.

Alcazar is good as it has the qualities of both SUV and MPV. A complete family car.
The alcazar was good except the 3rd row space, it is very small and cramped, I'm 5'7 and it was really uncomfortable
XUV 7OO still has a couple of small misses.
Had they added those too, it would've been the perfect car under 30Lakhs.

Best vehicle for 7 ppl is still Innova , with RWD it’s more capable than these FWD MPV / SUV. Add boot space to that which is not present in Safari / XUV . Add to that Reliability n cost of upkeep which neither of these can match. It’s still the Virat Kohli of 7 seater.
