      I help out as a volunteer at a place for folk with advanced dementia - sometimes sadly they are quite broken living on the edge of consciousness and perception. I think I might be able to noodle with this preset and maybe bring a smile to someone's face. Although I'm an agnostic, bless you. Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all [wo]men.

    I like using a dual pitch for leads. Set one @ +1 octave like you show. But set second @ same pitch (+0), but add a slight delay and maybe back off a few cents. This is like double-tracking a guitar to make lead lines sound huge!

    I have followed your video but for some reason the following things are happening; the delay is making no change on the sound, in fact no matter what position I have the foot switch there is no delay. Also the ambient effect when that foot switch is lit it off and when it not lit it is on. What did I do wrong. Ugh. Thanks for your videos. And may 2024 be full of blessings and good health.

    Hi there, just wondering whether whether the Pod Go would be right for someone like me. I am new to effects and hope to learn them all and try different combinations and chains etc. I believe the Pod Go has a very limited number of effects blocks and am a little worried i will find it limiting. My other options (basis budget) are one of the Mooers, the NUX MG30, or the Boss GX100. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

    Very nice, Jimmy. Just got a POD for guitar/bass on the worship team and basically being a 54 year old punk rocker, this was perfect to get a good tone without the full on pad/wash/75 delays + 32 reverbs on one patch sound. Really enjoying messing with the expanse pack as well. Besides good sounds, it’s been helpful in seeing how things are laid out.

    Simple question. I am an HX Stomp user and have used it for almost 5 years now. Its been a great tool for worship. But its part of my larger pedal board which is big and heavy. I am looking at the POD Go as both a fly rig and my regular worship multi-effects. Am I going to lose capability going to the POD Go?

    Hey, this has helped me start recently with the pod go. Amazing vid thanks!
    Not that you’ll probably see this but the delay works when I did it along with the video (dotted 1/8th) but when I’ve don’t it on another preset, it doesn’t work. Then instead of 1/4, 75% I changed it to 1/8th and it sounded like it but it’s slower which just sounds a bit messy if the song for example was faster or something.

    What's the worship part of this? Worship what?

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Worship is commonly used 2 different ways. There is a 'worship genre' of music (Hillsong, Elevation, Passion...list goes on and on) The tones I'm going for are built around artists like these and (many more) which write songs a lot of people sing with when they gather with their church body for worship. The second meaning of worship is to 'give worth to something/someone.' As a worship leader, it's my job to lead the people in the singing portion of worship as we 'give worth' to Jesus. This is the much more important sense of the word worship. Jesus died on a cross to pay for the sins of the world, and those who have put their faith in Him respond in worship. Acknowledging His ultimate worth. The second meaning of worship tone is very subjective. Because one can 'worship' God with any tone, or no tone at all! The important thing is to worship Jesus above all other things. I hope that answers your question clearly. I know there is a lot of confusion out there. What do you worship?

      @@HeyWorshipLeader Thanks for your thoughtfull answer. I came across your very good channel after buying my Pod Go. I was looking for tips and information, which you certainly give very well. Thanks a lot. But ai am not used to the concept of worship when thinking if guitartones, so that was unfamiliar to me. I live in Europe, and here we are more familiar with organs, choir and classical instruments related to churches. Rarely electric guitar anyway. Amyway me personally I have no faith, tjough I belong to and subscribe to the Christian traditions of my country, which contains so much beauty and art. This is of course especially true of Christmas now coming. I respect all religions and none religious people and hope for peace and community. Thanks again for many good tips on the Pod Go, I will continue to follow your channel, warship or not. Best wishes to you and yours.
